I've gotta say that I'm really enjoying Tad/Krystal right now too. They are finally letting Tad get back to the character we all know and love - just a fun, lovable, wise-cracking guy. Their scenes today are just fun, friendly, and lovable.

Totally off-topic, and kinda late, but I've noticed how for promos and stuff, they have objects in the background whenever they show a show's title. Like, for GH, they have a stethoscope in the background, for OLTL, there's the symbol for justice, and for AMC, I think it's like a pearl necklace or something. I think that's really neat.

Back on the topic of today's show, though, I'm liking Ava today. As much as I like her when she's being bold and bitchy, I love her even more when she's being vulnerable.

And I love how that knife was just sitting on that table at the Comeback, out there in the open for any old toddler (or Janet) to pick up and raise hell with.

And damn it, I want Sean Montgomery to be my boyfriend. The carving? TOO cute!

So many 'Awwww' moments today:

Awww - Erica and Adam confiding in each other about Jack and Krystal and how they both really still love their 'exes'. I love them together.

Awww - Tad was thinking about Kate  - I can't wait for Julia to come back so we can reunite Tad with Kate. I loved how Krystal playfully asked if there was a jacuzzi and Tad said he'd buy her one. lol

Awww - Sean is carving a big ol' heart and their initials into that cheap ass piece of lumber. Sean is really hot today - I dont always think that - but Brent is doing it for me today.

Ok, I just have to point this out, but who the hell is that black waiter chick with the fake ass blonde wig? I can't believe Krystal would hire her for The Comeback - she looks like she belongs in a gay bar or something. Good God she's distracting.

I feel like this show is written by toddlers. The entire Greenlee/Annie fued has gotten stale and has been severly over used the past few weeks. Jon Jon and Ryan's talk felt like it was written by a pre-teen. I don't know why but the conversation and the chemistry between the actors just felt so forced and that's sad considering their brothers. Atleast with Erin their was some kind of sibling connection now that's all but disappeared. The entire Fusion scenes were boring and had no kick what so ever.

It's sad but Sabine doesn't even have one-tenth of the attitude and prescence that Rebecca did as Greenlee. She would have chewed Annie, Ava, Kendell and Amanda out with just a few words.

Glad Babe's over JR. That's one abusive relationship no longer re-kindeling. Ava/Jon/Lily is trying on the patience. Zach/Kendell are sickeningly sweet and Zach just look out of place amongst all the women in the room.

So I guess Zach now owns every business in Pine Valley. He's even investing in Ryan's "start up" company.

Loved Zach's kick her line to Baby Slater and the belly kiss  They were sweet and happy and I am enjoying the hell out of these happy moments. Also liked that Ryan and Zach got out of the elevator to give their wives another kiss good-bye..found that to be nice

    • The show has gone back to 10/10 entertainment! I'm glad that I was right in feeling that what were experiencing were growing pains. I'm sure they are not over yet, but I'll know that we always comeback to quality drama. I think it's going to be a hell of ride (in a good way) from this moment on. BTG has that magic that not a lot of shows have. I'll update more... when I'm done catching up.
    • So very glad to hear this. Yesterday I suddenly thought; OMG, what about spoilers, have I just  ruined things for Maxim in getting carried away with interest in Evan, who was so well-written & well-acted. BTW, your fan review of this episode was a sight for eyes that had not seen one of these for a little bit too long, LOL!!!  Mitch is also fascinating to me but in his case it's because he was all in with Janice & her nefarious plan & then he did this turnabout we've mentioned & he basically got off scot-free.
    • It does seem cheap and lazy for this show to have just one family. Passions was heavily criticized but it was nicely structured with a total of four families.
    • I think it was definitely a surprising reveal in the storyline. I had a hard time appreciating Evan because I couldn't get behind his interest in Amanda. But that's because I never thought Sandra Ferguson made her a compelling character (although to give her credit she occasionally had decent emotional scenes with Mac or Rachel).
    • I'll even go further... I'll make her re-think BeLief and create a new patent. Brooke needs stuff to do. Anything other than beg or be in her panties. We need her to be creative. But sadly Bradley has a very low opinion of these characters. To him Brooke is nothing more than sex and scandal... or a pathetic doormat. Ridge is nothing more than a chauvinist pig that needs to pit women against each other to feel like A MAN and Steffy is nothing more than her father's guard-dog. I don't even want to open my mouth about Hope. She is such a fiasco in my opinion... I will not suffer if they kill her off. Bradley pooped on her character and now it's too late to fix it. Annika is great and I would hate to see her go, but slutty Hope was not her thing. The vibe was missing.
    • I've seen Jason interact with Mitch and annoy him. That's as far as I recall. I didn't even have a slight idea that Evan had a vendetta against Rachel... That came as a surprise to me. I thought Evan was Iris's dog and that's it. Now he's definitely more interesting.
    • Thanks for these. I can't recall -- did Evan's vendetta have any position on Mitch, or was it all about Rachel? @Maxim have you seen any Frames intreracting with Mitch in any way?
    • Thank you for the tag! It's always a pleasure to see these little pearls of memories.
    • Uh-oh. Today just might’ve been the first Paula/Jeanne stinker. I have a feeling whose fault that might be though. So, Doug III is getting a job at the Pub?  It’s good to see him interact with other characters. I enjoyed his scenes with Roman, even though the talk of Frankie and Max seemed a little random. And it also could be really interesting now that Tate knows. Days really need to start pushing their rivalry again. We need some follow up from the punch. Tying it all to Holly, to Sophia’s pregnancy, to the guys that Doug III owes money to could be good.  But yeah, wayyy too much Leo again in today’s episode. Seriously, has anything changed with this nothing character? I thought it was all Ron’s fault, but maybe Greg Rikaart is (partially) responsible for Leo being so insufferable.  And yeah seriously, Rafe needs to throw all of these people out of his house. Including Gabi

But I do wonder who’s the mysterious voice that Gabi overheard with EJ on the night he was shot. Based on yesterday’s episode, I have a suspicion.
    • Add me to the group of people who think that Brandon has improved. He has. There's no doubt about it. Especially compared to the beginning. And he's improving in a way that... it makes me think that he realizes what the issues are and is addressing them. Of course, he's no master of acting at this point... but I don't cringe as much as I did. And I've seen people in Bold... I won't even have to name names, because everyone knows who they are... who are becoming even worse than what they were offering in the first place. So... I'm happy that in BTG... people are actually blossoming and improving. It surely means that the atmosphere is creative and nurturing talent.  BUT and it's a big butt... his relationship with his husband is still so lacking and ghastly. I am craving to see more action from these guys. I want to see Smitty's character. If he has any.
