Someone should have hauled GM to the side and told him those ridiculously over-acted punches (one of which looked like it hit the door) and kicks needed to be toned WAY down. The less said about the porn story the better. Uh, I guess no one told Lance (or the writers) that Ali already has her own "website" she charges money to watch. It would have made more sense if Lance had wanted to post it there, and keep all the money for himself. OMG...Willen just needs to go away. Them having sex in every room??? That thought almost makes me as nauseous as Kack flucking on every flat surface. Speaking of Kack....the definition of "heaven" is NOT having them on. I couldn't believe the Woman who selflessly devoted herself to Carly's children for SIX months (*snort*) isn't right in the thick of things every minute. OY...the Carly/Jack/kids stuff was intense. You could tell Carly hit a couple of sore spots with Jack. But she's just asking to be included in decisions. Jack even admitted that he overexaggerated the "consequences" with Parker. Members ATWTCarOn4Ever Posted June 11, 2007 Members Share Posted June 11, 2007 Now that unpleasantness is over with and all the haters got their ban they desired I'll go ahead and give my view on whats been going on the last few weeks. Of course I expect to be attacked for liking some of what happened. But before I even get into that let me just state that 1) ATWT has been doing really well in the drama department for me lately. Carly/Jack/Katie/Brad. Alison/Dust/Emily/Susan. JJ/Faith/Parker. All of that has really served to up the tension and excitement on the show for me. 2) Where has Luke disappeared to? For that matter what the hell happed to Madddie? I was really like them. Plus Noah is a good addition but he seems a lil wierd right now 3) Cleo might be the best random character they've brought to the show in a long time. I can see ATWT making her Gwen's long lost twin cousin (Iris gave her up for adoption of something). That would be a really neat twist. But it is predictable. Anyways to be more specific todays episode rocked my socks. FIRST and foremost I'd like to congratulate the writers for FINALLY giving Carly a backbone and having her stand up to Jackass. Seriously this guy is beyond believeable. He thinks hes a perfect angel and Carly is doomed demonic sinner from Hell. Please take a look in the mirror and while you're at it look at the "lets spread 'em wide" girlfriend you're currently humping like a pathetic sex starved, horny loser. God that scene at WOAK had PORN written all over it. However it was well done to have Brad walk in on it. Jacks face was disgusting. The lust. The desire. I felt it all and I gotta say it was pretty nasty. Bottom line is that I'm glad Carly called him out on the REAL reason for his hostility and his real motives. He would love for Parker to completely hate Carly. He would love for Parker to turn his back on his mother forever. The reason being that he remembers when he went CRAWLING back to Carly only to have her reject him for Simon instead. It just burns him that Simon was and still is the best man for Carly. It kills him that she doesn't love him anymore. Its like Brad mentioned a few weeks ago. Jack is manipulitive. The way he got Carly to sign that statement saying that Simon coerced her into stealing those jewels and THEN dropped the bomb about him and Katie to her at Katie's house? Thats despicable. And speaking of him I give kudos to the writers for proving once and for all that Carly LOVED Simon and that it wasn't just about lust or w/e you want to call it. I know its just a personal opinion but hearing the characters say it and having the writers state in plain English that Carly misses the guy made me feel very good. CarJack is a train wreck. Today proved just how wrong these two are for each other. I might hate Jack and I might hate Katie but Jatie makes a whole lot more sense than CarJack ever will. However I did love the scenes between the two of em. Especially at the station. "I'm ready. Bring it on!" Carly is BACK and as FIERCE as ever. Cleo and Barbara were hilarious today. Since when did Willen become the new Mike and Katie? I really do not need to see them fornicating in EVERY room of their house. Especially with a guest living there. That aside I wish Gwen would get OVER Adam and move on. Alison and Dusty were on fire today. Loved that part of the episode. And it was awesome to see her cut Lance like that. The pig deserves to DIE. JJ you tricky lil guy. He had me SCARED to death that he was gonna shoot Parker. Does anyone else remember the rumors flying around that Parker or JJ was gonna kill the other one? I specifically remember it being JJ that kills Parker. Anyways I'm glad that did NOT happen. I hope she continues to snap on him too. Katie will never be Little Miss Mommy to Carly's children, and I can see Katie being burned eventually....The ones that will end Katie and Jack will be Parker and JJ... Parker is mad now, but from what I'm gathering, he's going to be the person that forces Jack and Carly to work together to get him back to who he was. Even if the theme of the stories isn't my favorite, at least we saw some movement and not the same lines repeated over and over again. My favorite was Jack and Carly! I am so glad my girl Carly got her spine back! Those scenes were intense! While Jack may have had some valid points, Carly sure did too and I am glad it was Parker that finally got her gusto back. I'm also glad that after Parker saying no to Jack adopting him that the writers didn't try to tell us it had happened off screen. Tom was the voice of reason even though he surely wanted to side with Jack The magic is still there even if they are fighting! I adore Grayson, but I will admit that fight scene was not his best work Perhaps he was expressing how he feels about the story I actually enjoyed the scenes in this story but am ready for this part to be over and move on. At least I felt like we moved closer to the end today. Hey if it takes Cleo to let us see Babs, well so be it I liked the talk between Babs and Will and the Hal mention. But somehow I'm starting to like Emily and Dusty. However, they are about to ruin that for me tomorrow by having Dusty doing the nasty with Allison. Loved the CARJACK scenes today. Finally starting to heat up. I feel so sorry for those kids. JJ is just lost now. I worry about him more than Parker to be honest. I don't understand why just because Parker doesnt want to see Carly that effects the other two. Just let them go visit their mother for pete's sake. Loved Carly calling Jack on what the real reasons are for not wanting her to see the kids. Great scenes today with them. Can live without the whole Will/Gwen/Cleo mess though. Remember when Gwen first came on this show and everyone thought she was awesome. Then they overkilled the character and should never have married her off....really dumb. I hope they bring back the Gwen we first met....and make us remember why we liked this character and couple in the first place. Tomorrow's previews look awesome! I understand that Carly is defensive but she walked out on her kids. Unfortunately, I didn't see the entire scene, but that's what I gathered from what I saw. With that said, Jack is beig more than generous. Parker has psycho written all over hin. That little punk threatened JJ. On a sidenote, those kids need haircuts. The ending with Faith was a letdown. It looked like she fell and just skined her shoulder. I couldnt tell the gun going off. Wouldnt it have been better to see Parker and JJ fighting over the gun and Faith being shot by accident. The fight scenes with Lance and Dusty were very cheesy....LOL. Now I have a feeling how Emily will be written out. She will probably be kidnapped by Lance. Lance will seek his revenge on Emily. It was a treat watching Barbara but Will/Cleo/Gwen were ff material.
