Fake audience laughter? Ha! I was a member of the audience ... are you calling me a bad actress? How rude!!! LOL! When I was there the laughter seemed genunine; however, every scene was taped at least twice (and the scene with the pictures of Jack and Erica was taped several times) and they told us to react the same for each take (laughter, applause, gasps, etc. but they did not tell us to laugh or gasp - just to keep it the same). BTW, these scenes were taped the same day as Erica's New Beginnings show with Zarf (and Bianca). They taped the Zarf/Erica/Bianca scenes from about 10:00 am - 5:00 pm and the Jackson/Erica/Pam scenes from about 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm. I was very impressed with Susan Lucci working all day on two full scripts and looking great throughout. It was so much fun and very interesting to be there and I got to see many other AMC actors as well.

Oh, Darcy!

I thought you were faboulous! It's just that everyone else was awful! ;) Joking, of course!

I actually liked it! It fell into the "so bad it's good" category. The audience was the best part. I know I would be uncontrollably laughing at how corny it all was and would be thrown out!

By the way - did you end up on the screen at all? I wanna look for you!

That is awesome! I would have loved to be in your shoes. I'm sure you had a great time. That is quite impressive of Susan to pull off a long day and still look gorgeous and happy!

Today's show was good - great balance, as Babe/Krystal/JR/Adam/Tad/Josh were all missing. We got Erica/Jack instead - as well as the entire Wildwind gang. The location shoot is gorgeous too. I'm looking forward to tomorrow!

I LOVED it Darcy..I was looking for Claudine and knew you'd be right next to her but I couldn't find either one of you. Where were you sitting?

I must confess that I was so absorbed by Jack and Erica that I couldn't concentrate as I normally would have :) . I just loved that entire segment today.

Cheap...I so agree with you about the Kendall quote...LOVED it.... I had some off campus meetings today and happened to be able to come home for lunch and caught the show today. I LOVED the kids jumping on the bed to wake Annie up and I thought Greenlee and Hannah had an interesting dynamic to them...could be interesting???

yes Kendall was good. Did you see the previews? LMAO, I just did and it looks hilarious with Kendall going after Greenlee. Reminds me of the wedding to Ryan a few years back.

I also enjoyed the kids jumping on the bed. I liked all the wedding scenes. I dont know what to think of Greens and Hannah. I wonder if theyform some type of alliance against Kendall and Zach. I dont completley trust them or their motives

If Greenlee has anything to do with Zendall loosing their baby, the writers must know that a lot of viewers will rake this new Greenlee over the hot coals!!!

Hannah, is a different story, we all know that she is up to no good, but for Greenlee's character that would be a major mistake. IMO

I liked the Jack/Erica scenes but I thought they would be more emotional than they were today. Maybe it will pick up tomorrow if they're on again.

Yeah, Jonathan needs to STFU and Kendall should have kicked him in the balls and gone off to tell Ryan about Greenlee!

I don't think Hannah knew who Greenlee was until she mentioned Kendall. Anything that causes trouble for Zzzzendull is fine by me. :D

I watched AMC today and Erica's talk show is SOOOOO CHEESY! Do they really think that watching Erica blather on and on and on about STORYLINE RE-HASH is going to be exciting or entertaining just because it's in front of an "excited audience?"

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?

    • Now this strikes me as funny. I have it up on my acct. The thing is I only have S2. Didn't want either 1 or 3.  Perhaps I should just list all of these that I have up.  Parodies: Dirty Sexy Money, Filthy Rich Incomplete: The Monroes, All That Glitters, Falcon Crest (have all just not all up), Once & Again S2 only Complete: Models Inc, Pasadena, Pacific Palisades, Paper Dolls, Flamingo Road
    • This is wonderful! Thank you for posting this! I loved the first two seasons and never got to see the final season when they cancelled the DVD release. I've been hoping this popped up on streaming but no luck. Happy I'll finally get to see how it ended!

    • In case it is of interest to anyone here, I have digital copies (computer files, mp4 etc.) of all of the episodes. And, besides having the files they are all up on my usual video hosting site, acct name: shallotpeel, channel it is in: Primetime Soaps and file names like  Flamingo Road S1E15 Hurricane Flamingo Road was a primetime soap on NBC by Lorimar Productions. 2 seasons. 1980-1982. Morgan Fairchild, Barbara Rush. Developed by Rita Lakin.
    • Arguably DAYS OF OUR LIVES has been brilliant lately & definitely was last week. But, here I am with nitpick & technicalities. This was the only misstep but it was just a stupid thing that should have been caught. Deidre Hall as Marlena has this one problematic line, "It didn't matter how many identities you had, I always knew exactly who you were, you were the man who saved my life." - Marlena, DAYS, 6-2-25 Unfortunately the flashback closest to it was when Marlena was on the phone, terrified because she thought he was Stefano. Yes, it's true that the line is not accurate. There were many times when she did not feel the way she is claiming because of whatever was going on in story with his 'retconned to hell & back' identity & origin story. Does it keep the whole week from being called excellent? Nope.
