The major news sites are reporting that Rosie is leaving the View in June...FINALLY!

How sad, I wouldn't doubt if this is the last year for the View as well. I just don't see them being able to go on much longer.

I"M really going to miss Rosie she's the reason to watch the view.

I think in these post-Imus days, ABC was worried about Rosie's outspokenness. Despite what Rosie has done to boost ratings, they may have started looking at her as a liability.

And they should worry.

If Don Imus got in trouble for name calling, she has done alot worse..even when I agreed with things she said.

Totally a waste of space on the show. She was much better when she seemed to care about her image!

ABC wanted her long term. She's leaving because she didn't want to sign a 3 yr contract.

I'm upset because I didn't think she would stay longterm. Barbara fired an original View gal or at least had a role in Star's depature, now Rosie's leaving! Oye! I saw they invite Sheri Shepard and Megan Mullally to be the new co-hosts and let Joy be the new moderator.

Well - I watched more with Rosie on just to tune in to the first 15 min. of drama. But lately, watching Rosie is like watching a trainwreck because she simply doesn't care about her image anymore, and doesn't think before she speaks (or she does, but doesn't care who she pisses off anymore). And honestly, that's dangerous for her future - so ultimately this may be the best thing for her and ABC.

The only person I really like on there is Joy - just because I find her f'ing hilarious.

I can't stand Barbara Walters - for several reasons.

Elisabeth - well I'm indifferent towards her - I find myself agreeing with her half the time and wish she had another Republican buddy on that show with her to balance out the politics - as she always gets beat up by Rosie and Joy. But she's not enough to make me want to watch really.

I might be able to watch THE VIEW if they redesign the set again(still hate the pukey blue). If Rosie wins them the Emmy, I see there being a MAJOR about face

But fi she really DOES leave, I just only hope that they pick two really good PERMANENT co-hosts.

Rosie made The View an interesting show. I loved waking up to watch her and Elisabeth go at it. Without Rosie, that won't be there.

And where's the damn 5th host that they were suppoesd to be announce last November? After June, we're going back to the boring old Barbara/Joy/Elisabeth ensemble. That's so damn boring and lifeless.

I can't stand Babs, so I love it when she's not there. But with just the three of them, she'll be there every single day like she was in the summer.

*sigh* It's going to be a boring summer on The View.

Who could they replace Rosie with? I mean, really?

The only person I will accept in her place is Sherri Sheppard. She was awesome and she is just as outspoken as Rosie. I agree with you Drew. I cannot stand BW, and will not be able to bear seeing her on every day.

Barbara needs to get off her behind and pick the new co-hosts!! She needs two now and we better damn well get them. I love "THE VIEW" so much this is how it should go down:

- Barbara Walters

- Joy Behar (The new Moderator) give Joy the promotion she deserves!

- Elisabeth Hassellbeck

- Sherri Shepard

- Megan M. (Karen, Will & Grace) she is not complete comedy and has some good points, I liked her talk show!
