DAYS: How they should handle Alice's eventual demise

Speak for yourself! Alice Horton is one of the characters that immediately spings to my mind. When I was a kid/teen-ager first getting into soaps (Days in particular), Alice was one of my favorite characters and I adored every moment she was on my screen (and still do!). Alice Horton has always been the heart of Days.

I couldn't agree with you more. She has been the heart of this show from the beginning. I also think that it was because of her and her involvement with the love stories of Bo/Hope, Mickey/Maggie, Doug/Julie, and Jack/Jennifer that I became such fans of them as couples. One of my favorite memories is when she helped Bo before Hope married Larry-that was classic.

And for me personally, watching Alice be murdered, or in a car accident, or something worse would be like watching it happen to my own grandmother.

I have no interest in watching a little old lady, espeically one of France's stature, be snuffed out as if it were an episode of Oz.
