I'm still impressed with the obvious changes going on. My show is finally starting to come back! And I know I keep saying this, but it's true. The character balance is so much better. Josh isn't shoved down our throats anymore. Zendall is on only every other day now. This isn't the "Babe Hour". Vets like Adam, Erica, Jack have major storyline. Ryan isn't on everyday being a jerk. Besides just characters, the balance in the sets used from episode to episode is better too! They aren't just shoving Fusion and Chandler Mansion down our throats anymore.

Today we get a break from JR, Adam, Krystal, Tad, Jamie, Ryan, Annie - and we have Zendall back in fun scenes. We have Di talking about Dixie and Aiden has been on most all of this week. Btw, I love how Di is telling Jonathan off still. :) We have Erica, Jack, Barbara, Sean today.

Today we have an improved Fusion break room being used - with full kitchen appliances! We have Zendall's condo, Wildwind, The Valley Inn hotel room, an overhauled convention set, a different set with Jack/Barbara, Josh's condo. It's great! This is important to keep the show fresh and alive.

Anyway - loving the Erica/Ava scenes bc Erica thinks it's Lily and she's back with Jonathan and freaking out.

^^I agree - I love watching Erica and Barbara. They are now writing it in a way where Erica is more smug and in control and not just lashing out. She is smart and really knows that Barbara stands no chance. She's being catty, but in a mature way - if that makes sense. I love it.

I'm really enjoying Josh today - crazy! He's great against Bianca.

With the exception of possibly the Ava thing - today's episode is all about character growth. There is no plot-driven mess.

LOL - EXACTLY! I'm loving Di.

And call me crazy, but I'm really enjoying Josh today. I don't think I've seen Colin be more comfortable in front of the camera in this role than he is today. AND THANK YOU NEW WRITERS - he is officially over Babe and moving on. No more of McT's horrible triangle. If Colin continues to play Josh like he is today, then I could really be his fan again.....weird.

That was hilarious when Zach got scared over the spider. Watching Kendall and Zach just have fun together and flirt/fight/flirt is refreshing.

OMG, Babs needs to bow out of her mission to get jack gracefully, honey he kicked you out of his house and he probably would of did it even if lily hadn't threatened to leave. I'm going to give Ava chance, I hope erica will eventually be her mentor because that girl needs some tough love and she's the one to give it to her. Ava had dollars signs in her eyes when she realized lily family had money. AMC seriously needs to stop adding to the K/M family lets do a body count: erica, jack, kendall, zach, spike, nubaby, josh, binks, mimo, lily, sean, ava, reggie(he needs to come back), and greenlee. This year alone there have been Four new additions: josh, spike(was he born this year or last?), nubaby(yet to be born), and now ava. Additions I will support: I want mark back.

Todays show was really good. Not too much of one character! We got Erica, Barbra, Jack(My favorite Vets) They are getting more air time! YAY! AMC is really turning around! They show is getting better and I hope it keeps going in that direction. I would love to see Myrtle and Palmer and Sturat more often. I also want Jr and Babe together for the show to get even better! AMC IS MUCH BETTER! I also love the Ava/Lily. The ending of where they see each other and they are shocked. Lovedhow Erica is talking about Barbra. It alsways cracks me up! WE ARE GETTING THE OLD AMC BACK. ALSO WE ARE GETTING ARE VETS BACK! YAY FOR AMC!!:):D

Their story and airtime will pick up even more from what I hear :D YAY!

I love the fact that Erica never lets that witch get the better of her. Noone would ever believe that Jack would chase Barbara, phone her constantly , and keep knocking at her door  . He couldn't get away from her fast enough and Erica knows it. :P

I love Erica with Lily and I hope that Ava comes to love her new adopted family and has eventually has ties with them all but I'm suspecting she may try to impersonate Lily for a while to get what she can from the K/M's first. I also love Erica with Sean and hope she comes to be a mother figure to him. He clearly adores her and vice versa.

There can never be enough K/M family for me :P I love each and every one of them (and Barbara is NOT included in that). I want my Reggie back :) I'd even be open to J/E adopting a child together.

I agree that this week has been much better in terms of balance than we've had for a long time. I can't wait until the day McT's name stops showing up in the credits, though!

Barbara & Sean's scenes were a long time coming. I agree that Brent Weber has improved quite a bit as an actor and I'm glad the writers are finally playing out some of the family dynamics with the teens. I could really root for Sean & Colby as a couple this summer now that I know more about them and actually care about them, unlike last year.

Di calling out Jonathan was long overdue, too! It's about time someone reminded him that he's a murderer.

I can't wait to see Lily's reaction to Ava on Monday, but I still don't care enough about Ava to want her to stick around. I'm hoping the new writers will get rid of her and focus more on Lily instead.

As for adding to the K/M family, I agree that Mark should come back, along with Reggie. But I don't want any family to dominate the show the way the Laverys and Careys did under McT.

    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?

Didn't want either 1 or 3.  Perhaps I should just list all of these that I have up.  Parodies: Dirty Sexy Money, Filthy Rich Incomplete: The Monroes, All That Glitters, Falcon Crest (have all just not all up), Once & Again S2 only Complete: Models Inc, Pasadena, Pacific Palisades, Paper Dolls, Flamingo Road
    • This is wonderful! Thank you for posting this! I loved the first two seasons and never got to see the final season when they cancelled the DVD release. I've been hoping this popped up on streaming but no luck. Happy I'll finally get to see how it ended!

    • In case it is of interest to anyone here, I have digital copies (computer files, mp4 etc.) of all of the episodes. And, besides having the files they are all up on my usual video hosting site, acct name: shallotpeel, channel it is in: Primetime Soaps and file names like  Flamingo Road S1E15 Hurricane Flamingo Road was a primetime soap on NBC by Lorimar Productions. 2 seasons. 1980-1982. • Arguably DAYS OF OUR LIVES has been brilliant lately & definitely was last week. But, here I am with nitpick & technicalities. This was the only misstep but it was just a stupid thing that should have been caught. Deidre Hall as Marlena has this one problematic line, "It didn't matter how many identities you had, I always knew exactly who you were, you were the man who saved my life." - Marlena, DAYS, 6-2-25 Unfortunately the flashback closest to it was when Marlena was on the phone, terrified because she thought he was Stefano. Yes, it's true that the line is not accurate. There were many times when she did not feel the way she is claiming because of whatever was going on in story with his 'retconned to hell & back' identity & origin story. Does it keep the whole week from being called excellent? Nope.
