YES! YES! YES! Thats such great news! Both actors are doing wonderful jobs where they are at now so I don't want a single thing to change. As for Paul on ATWT please KEEP him with Meg. They're supercouple status worth in my book and I look forward to Peg babies... :)

Oh yeah that baby by Emily....although its death was tragic I think Emily deserved it after all the stunts she pulled. I'm not saying that all women that miscarry deserve it. I believe its a terrible thing to lose a child no matter what. But in this case I just can't a single iota of sympathy for her. You don't threaten to abort a baby and then claim the right to be sad over it. Thats just ridiculous. She was pyscho and out of her mind crazy stalking Paul and Meg. And its a sign that Paul and Emiloon are not meant to be together at all. In fact Emily shouldn't even be with Dusty although at this point I don't really care. My only concern is that Jennifer would roll over in her grave if she found out that he was with EMILY of all people. The woman who kept her child from her for God knows how long.

Just curious Josh but how old are you? You seem to like all the stuff I cant stand...lol. I am very upset Roger Howarth is staying at ATWT. His salary could have been used to improve ATWT greatly.

Well I disagree with MUCH of your post lol (b/c I love Paul and Emily lol)...but I'll say that irregardless, baby Jenny has GREAT soap genes (Ryan/Stenbeck/Stewart) and it was a huge mistake IMO.

But she's a Stenbeck and many of her relatives have 'come back from the dead' lol....so I live in hope!

Lol Soapsuds I hope we can still be buddies though! I'm 21 and in college right now. As for Jenny she DID have great genes though...but still I just think it would have been WAY too much drama surrounding her on the show. I mean can you see it. ATWT spends the next 20 years focused on this one gir. Her granddaddy kidnaps her. He parents fight over her. Her sometimes loony grandma on her daddy's side tries to bribe her finacially to drop her psycho of a mother! Ridiculous. And this is just when shes age 10 and below!

The teen years would have seen her become evil and even more traumatized...

Sure, I just had a feeling u were young by liking the show. It seems like the younger viewers are enjoying ATWT more than the older viewers.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! So glad Trevor St. John is staying at ONE LIFE as Todd Manning. Glad Roger's staying at ATWT too (I guess), although I don't watch the show anymore, lol.

Hopefully now that Trevor's been signed to a new contract, ONE LIFE will reach an agreement with Renée Elise Goldsberry(Evangeline)! If not hopefully ONE LIFE can find a great re-cast as Evangeline.

    • Oh, I see! You posted this on the general retro soap thread because of the voiceover.
    • Yeah, I agree. It's part of the reason I have shade picked on Martin's Secret being so on the backburner that it was about to fall off of it. With Dani/Bill/Hayley being the main tale to start us off and backburned and the SilkPress storyline being well paced, but not set to explode until May, Martin's Secret was the other main storyline that could have been developed. And after giving it a nice slow burn to start off, the story upped and vanished in Month 2. That left the show having to rely on mostly B/C stories to stay afloat to various degrees of success.
    • I loved those scenes, lol. I thought I was watching a stage play. But I do hear what you're saying.
    • Jason47's episode summaries clarify everything. https://daytimeroyaltyonline.com/days-daily-summaries-1990-1999-t14806-s150.html The construction company is "AJ Construction" (AJ = Adrienne+Justin).   Jencon Oil was building an oil refinery at the construction site.  This was adjacent to the park. Kirk Geiger played the character Chad Webster. The character Chad was an actor in the movie being made.   The child friend with Shawn-Douglas is his cousin Andrew Donovan. A few episodes prior, Andrew and Shawn-Douglas were at the park playing hide-and-seek. They wandered off where they shouldn't have gone, by slipping through the gate onto the construction site.  Shawn-D fell into the hole at the oil refinery. There were several episodes of trying to rescue Shawn-D.  Finally Carly rescued Shawn-D, but he was discovered to be deaf.  Andrew felt bad, but Bo and Shane both understood that it was an accident.  Carly later taught Shawn-D sign language. Shawn-D was played by Scott Groff. Andrew was played by Bradley Michael Pierce. pics here: https://web.archive.org/web/20070404163013/http://www.childrenofsalem.com/days/kids/shawnandrew/shawnandrew.html Larger context here: https://web.archive.org/web/20080614054207/http://www.bethsdayspage.com/days/riverfrontraider.htmlhttps://web.archive.org/web/20080614054207/http://www.bethsdayspage.com/days/riverfrontraider.html
    • I had a situation last week where I could watch the new episode on Paramount Plus on my laptop, but it wasn't even listed on my TV as an option.

    • I'm trying to think whether AW had anything remotely resembling that once Steve was killed off and Alice left a widow. So many young love stories were wrapped up either by marrying and leaving town or marrying and killing off one party. Maybe they acted in the final year as if Vicky and Jake had been that couple all along, but they both had better other mates along the way and also Jake was actively hostile to Vicky at too many points without any subtext of caring about her.
