I can never figure out those "blind items" unless I've read something before that already mentioned it. Like the year Grayson showed up drunk to the fanclub event...that was all over the boards before it showed up in the mags.

I never knew Beth Ethlers got around until last week. She seems so wholesome; these real life expolits are far more soapy.

That's an understatement to be sure lol. BE seems to have a fetish with people who play A.C. Mallet. I believe she split from her FIRST hubby after falling in love with Mark Derwin. They were together for awhile; I believe they may have been engaged for a bit even. However, things did not last.

Didn't Gina Tognoni also date and live with Mark Derwin while she was on OLTL and he was on GL?

I think SOD confirmed that GT and MD were dating when he was on OLTL.

Interesting about Tom and Gina. I didn't realize he broke up with her for Steph. I loved Gina and Tom together, but hey, whatever makes them happy in the end.

All these soap romances make real soaps less interesting

I don't think Gina actively hates TP or SG isnce she congratulated them on their Emmy win. If naything, she's a class act. People fall out of love. Gina has a tendency to fall for her co -stars. Both Joey's on OLTL, Mark Derwin and then Tom.

But I was wondering, where do you guys get all this good gossip from? I wasn't going to say anything about the BE stories I heard but I guess it's common knowledge.

So much drama. The cameras should just roll when these actors come to work and put it on air.

LOL, I am embarrassed to say I don't remember! Just reading stuff in passing, I guess. I do remember hearing something about BE on Soaptown (oooooo!). And I used to visit a Jonah and Jammy board because they would clip episodes and at the time my affiliate was messing up the GL showtimes so... Anyway, Tom and Gina's break-up occurred during that period, and there seemed to be a LOT of discussion about it.

I also believe that the GL stars are much more laid back with their fans when they meet them -- they are not as "separated" or "protected" from them as the soapstars other networks. Perhaps this is the way it is with NYC-based soapstars? GL also organizes meet-and-greet cruises and other events, and I am sure that after a few drinks, somebody on the show starts talking with a fan, or it becomes clear who likes/dislikes who...
