The moral relativism to prop "kewl" characters is the ENTIRE core of Y&R's probelms.

It's why Phyllis, GloBag, Michael, Kelfin & Lauren ALWAYS get free passes for their dirt while everyone else is treated like crap for their various transgressions.

Viewers hate it on ABCDaytime (especially GH) but Phyllis & The Baldwin Fishers aren't ANY different.

I think she knows she can play hardball because she is an integal part of the cast. I feel that's especially true right now. There has been a lot of build up to the Brad/Sharon reveal. It's not terribly interesting if Sharon is gone. It's going to be a lot of build up for nothing, I think. By now the show should know better than to have her be a major player around the time her contract comes up, but since they never learned I hope SC gets all she can from them.

I really don't see that Phyllis has been white washed at Sharon's expense. I think Sharon has looked pretty good and has been in the sympathetic position for most of the time. Sure, there was the affair with Brad. But she has been portrayed as the grieving mother, the wronged wife, the star crossed lover (with Brad), used by Jack ect. Now she's going to take a fall and end up in a coma possibly because of Phyllis. So really I think Phyllis is the one looking bad to prop Sharon if anything.

No, we don't know for sure Sharon is being killed off. It seems more like she's going to "die" and be brought back. In a coma, if SC contract negotiations take awhile.

How is Sharon a walking STD? The hate for her is very hypocritical when compared to other characters in the same story. I'd say Nick and Phyllis are much more walking STD's than Sharon. Hate her, but get your facts straight.

Sharon's a whore. She's always been a whore. Phyllis is a whore too, but at least she's not trying to act like her poo doesn't stink. Sharon for months blasted Phyllis for sleeping with Nick, yet she goes around and sleeps with her brother in law...AND CONTINUED TO BLAST PHYLLIS. The only reason why Sharon is so bitter is because she wasn't able to steal Brad away from Victoria the same way Phyllis was able to steal Nick away from her. I have never liked Sharon and have never pretended to like her. I have been on her side at times, I really have, especially in the beginning of the Nick/Phyllis affair, but she's just as responsible as Nicholas is.
