Wheeee! I'm glad, if only because I love Judi and Steve needs his family. As far as the Bonnie/Adrenne thing, I tihnk the stylists can make her softer. Bonnie certainly neve rlooked like Adrienne to me, beyond being played by the same actress. Make-up and wardrobe does a lot. Awesome!

I've never seen Adrienne except in a couple episodes from the Bope SoapNet marathon, but I love Judi, so I'm definitely happy about this. I love how much Judi loves DAYS. I really think there's a reason why so many actors love working on DAYS. I was hoping the article would say Judi was back on contract, but hopefully this will end up being more than just short-term. It may not do much for the ratings, but it'll make lots of longtime fans happy, I'll bet.

That sure is quick though. It sounds like it could be short-term like Matt's but the chances of her staying longer seem more possible then Matt based on the wording of this.

I think Judi's comments would also apply to Matt. It sounds like both will be used in a recurring capacity and will pop up whenever Steve's story requires it. With the budget situation the way it is, this is probably the only feasible way for Hogan to bring back favorites from the past.

Anyway, I'm pleased to see this confirmed.

I'm happy about this! I liked Judi as Adrienne years ago! Does this mean Matt Ashford too might be back on DAYS for more than a few days? Steve needs both his brother and sister back!

I'd love it if they brought Wally Kurth back for a short stint. While Adrienne's helping out Patch, Justin could be working with Victor and Philip.

Definitely. That is what they wanted Joe Mascolo for too and he turned it down. I think we will see people in and out and used when story or events dictate. As I said, any former actor wanting to return will probably have to a take a major cut or do what Judi and Matt are doing. I think that is kind of nice. It gives a realistic feel to the show because people do pop in and out in real life. I am wondering if we will see someone return for Sami and Lucas's wedding although I doubt Carrie would. CC would probably agree to a short-term comeback but Carrie hates Sami so that is a moot point.

I'd rather they bring back Carrie and Austin full time, with Patrick Muldoon returning as Austin.

I can't wait! I love Judi and was heartbroken when they let her go. It doesn't matter if people know who Adrienne is, IMO. New viewers know who Judi is, and that's connection enough.

But more than 10 years had passed since Judi was last on Days. Ditto with Josh.

They need to explain to the new fans why Adrienne looks just like Bonnie, and they also need to explain why no one recognized Bonnie as Adrienne over the past 3 and a half years.

Now this could easily be fixed if they bring on a new Bonnie for a few episodes, so we can see her "new face" and accept that this "new face" was her "real face" all along, and therefore she never looked like Adrienne.

Another "out" would be that Bonnie's true face was that of Robin Riker or Kathy Connell, the other two actors who played Bonnie Maureen Lockhart. We could assume that when the people of Salem saw Judi as Bonnie, they were seeing Robin Riker's face, and since Robin never played Adrienne, there would never be a similarity in appearance.

My obsession with and love for Judi Evans is indescribable! I could not be f-ing happier!
