This Weekend!!

Daylight Savings time officially ends. I was just wondering if the USA will be going back too, since there was some talk awhile ago about them not going back until sometime after?

Yes an extra hour of sleep woo hoo! I can always use one of those.

The new daylight savings time extensions in USA, Ontario and Manitoba begin in 2007. It starts one week earlier and ends 2 weeks later than now I think I dunno.

Thanks amcfan! I found some more info on that.... Yay extra hour of sleep!

On August 8, 2005, President George W. Bush signed the Energy Policy Act of 2005. This Act changed the time change dates for Daylight Saving Time in the U.S. Beginning in 2007, DST will begin on the second Sunday of March and end the first Sunday of November. The Secretary of Energy will report the impact of this change to Congress. Congress retains the right to revert the Daylight Saving Time back to the 2005 time schedule once the Department of Energy study is complete.

I wish I would have read this before Saturday. I think my co-worker and I were the only two people on the planet who understand the concept of daylight saving's time that didn't realize that Saturday/Sunday was when it was taking place.
