Ugh...ATWT....ANY of Hogan's attempts at farce...The Keys to the Kingdom Contest; Bonnie, Duchess in Wacky Ol' Scotland; The Island Adventures, I (Lily and Simon), II (Katie, Henry and Cooley) and III (The Avanya Silliness with Two Simons, Explosives, and Rose's Sick Father).

GL...because it can't be ridiculed enough, THE MARYANNE CARRUTHERS Murder Mystery. Oh, and the Santos Clan. How many times did Danny try and "go straight"? *RME* Not that I minded Danny...but every time Michelle was recast, Carmen decided to try and kill her. Tres boring.

Well, you made my Days list for me so I will just agree with your list. I would also add the tooth implant story for Vivian and the brain chip stuff for Hope and John. Other then that, I will just do Passions since I can't recall all the other shows:

-The first half of Vendetta.

-Supernatural rapist.

-Al is Charlie

-Hell in a Closet

-Warlock Island

-Siren

-Cracked Connie

-Bringing JT Cornell back and hyping Tabloid Truth, a story where nothing happened byt Ivy being exposed.

-Theresa/Ethan/Gwen: late 2005-present

-Sheridan's character destruction as well as Fox's, Chad's, Kay's, and the list goes on.

B&B has had a few stinkers. The standout has to be Amber's long lost twin April Knight making a fly in visit for no particular reason other than to provide us with two screeching Adrienne Frantz's per episode. I really don't know what Brad Bell was thinking with that one.

Another would be Sheila's 2003 return where she'd turned into some kind of terrorist with a lesbian prison guard lackey and Ridge burnt to 'death' prompting Brooke to boink Nick for comfort. Absolute trash.

Taylor in Morocco circa 1994 is another one. Sure it served a purpose because Hunter Tylo briefly left the show but the story draaaagged. It was bad enough seeing HT play amnesiac Princess Layla behind a one way mirror watching Ridge and Brooke on their honeymoon (conveniently in Morocco) -- then she came back to LA looking like Velma from Scooby Doo thanks to Phyllis Diller, with a Dutch accent that she passed off as British. Too camp for words.

The only highlight was Brooke's "Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!" when Taylor whipped the wig off and showed that she was still alive.

Passions:

Hell in the Closet - that was embarrassing for all parties involved and definitely a SIGN of where this show was headed. Too bad we ignored it.

Sheridan dying every 5 seconds.

Trying to pass off Teresa's illness where Epig is involved as a love story. Reilly wrote this child wrong from the word go!

Anything starting at late 2002 and beyond...

The other soaps are ridiculous in their own right, but I have never seen any of them put out the garbage that Passions has....

Lest we forget...

Sunset Beach's turkey baster debacle which went beyond the boundaries of tastelessness.

GH, the spirit of Lila speaking through Heather Webber, which was an insult not only to Anna Lee but to everyone within a 3000 mile radius of the show.

Passions' Gwen, who knew Alistair was raping Theresa and did nothing to help her. That scene was both cruel and inhuman.

OMG! Who can forget the Turkey Baster? The actors probaly hung their heads in shame after that.

As for Gwen and her disturbing igorance where Teresa was being raped, that was not a plot. Just a point. The more disturbing part, and the actual plot, was that Teresa was willing to "do" Alistair in the name of Epig. What kind of person thinks so little of themselves?

I've been watching Days (on and off) since Stockholm... but what is "the goop"???

Days:

Carly buried alive / Vivian's herbs

Virtual Garden of Eden

Alien Twins

Lauren the surrogate

Boy Band of Brothers (aka Stupidity in a Fake Dimera War Zone)

All My Children:

The unabortion

The Vegas showgirl

Babe's fake death (I hate this story already)

Palmer's Chicken Shack

    • There probably would have been a good chance they knew of him, especially with his ties to Spaulding and his being involved in so much scandal (meaning there would be plenty of photos and articles around they both would have seen), but I agree the mask was silly, clearly just a TV moment.

    • I think all the suits are fit too tight, except for Jon Lindstrom's. DC lawyers/doctors are not all LA fashion elites. Yes, maybe Tomas would have a more modern cut to his suit, but an established guy like Bill wouldn't go around looking like that lonely button on his jacket was ready to explode constantly.
    • I do think there's room for optimism, especially with Amazon making enough new episodes to last until December. There's still time for the various players to get their ducks in a row. Guess we'll know soon enough!
    • I do agree it's better to just have people pop back into town. I never understood why Roger needed a mask on an island, when neither Fletcher or Alex would've known who he was. And the vine...sigh. Couldn't he have just been sent crashing through a window or something?
    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
