I totally agree. It is very much a lack of creativity. I think the British soaps have so much on the American soaps. I love that they are willing to give older characters stories, and even have normal looking folks on the show. That is what soaps used to be about here.

You know what's really crazy is that not only was PC IV born when PC III was twelve, he was never aged beyond about the age of about 8. Everyone else was SORAS while he was kept a little boy. I could be wrong, but I believe he was still in grade school when Nick got Sharon pregnant.

What's even more stupid is AMC SORAS'd Ethan after his death, his tombstone says he was born in 1981, really? Zach was 15 in '81, it's already been established that Zach was born in '66(same year as TK) and Michael was born in '69 So Ethan shouldn't have been born till at least 1984
