DAYS: Wednesday, February 7

I thought Wednesday's show was one of the worst I have seen in months. I could care less about this stupid ass Sami SL and Drake should be [!@#$%^&*] slapped for that God awful "performance." I feel bad for Deidre, she just seems to always get the shaft IMO. My VCR for whatever reason isn't taping right so I missed Friday and Monday's show and finally get to see a full episode and it sucked. MBE has got to be one of the most overrated actresses ever, why do so many LOVEEEEEE her, IMO she is average at best. SN shined in this eppy as did JP and SW, but other than that what a bad episode and its Sweeps time. I hope this horrible crap doesn't continue.

Have Bo and Hope not named their child yet? If they havent than thats just ridiculous, its been over a month since the birth of "Doodlebug." I dont know when the last time I was this negative on DAYS but if this is what we get because of budget problems then go ahead and cancel it.

Oh and I am still pissed I no longer see SLG in the writing credits, is DAYS really hurting that bad in the wallet?

I will keep this short since it's Thursday and I haven't commented yet.

This episode was ok. I am over this filler crap we are getting with Sami. Ali did overact a bit. I am just waiting for today's episode and where all this gets us.

SN and MBE are great. They were very good. Classic Steve and Kayla. This week is the best MBE I have seen in months.

I don't care for the J&M story and Drake has been worse then usual but yesterday was the first time I liked the actual story. That dream sequence at the end was gothic and creepy. I just liked the way they did the dream thing this time. I actually bought it, probably because of Dee and the way the dream looked and felt. If not for Drake's acting and voiceovers, it would've been better.

Not a bad show but the worst of the week really.

    • I do think there's room for optimism, especially with Amazon making enough new episodes to last until December. There's still time for the various players to get their ducks in a row. Guess we'll know soon enough!
    • I do agree it's better to just have people pop back into town. I never understood why Roger needed a mask on an island, when neither Fletcher or Alex would've known who he was. And the vine...sigh. Couldn't he have just been sent crashing through a window or something?
    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.
    • RIP Wayne Lewis.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.

    • Yeah when Jamey Giddens did breakdowns for DAYS, he would sometimes state in tweets that specific things were his idea that he had pitched to Ron.
