In response to Josh.

He is the most interesting because he's, hands down, the hottest in daytime.

That's silly, no?

Dixie can't even DIE without that gaping macaw getting special attention. Not a minute after Dixie is declared dead the attention is turned towards Babe AGAIN.

This show can go [!@#$%^&*] itself.

Oh good lord, why can't we use curse words? Is SON populated by children?

Oh, good Lord, you! Josh LOVES Babe. It was EXCELLENT writing that he should think of Babe first!

He has NO connection to Dixie.

It was insensitive at best.

But still in keeping with the character.

Try again!

No, Dru, because it's TRUE.

Josh was like a hard body and penis in a leather jacket today.

He wasn't made for clothes.

Come ON!

Way to go AMC let Dixie realize her daughter, once she's dead.

Well, I thought that made for perfect closure for the character.

It was as touching as it was a stroke of writer's genius!

Dixie realizing Kathy was Kate...Kate waving to her...Dixie blowing her kiss....okay my face is tear stained over here :(

Mine, too!

Was that not the best EVER?!!

That ending just about killed me......... :(

;0-

Tell me about it! I'm SO watching it again. Probably tomorrow. :)

Again, BEST hour of soap opera in a year or so. DAMN, that was GOOOOOOOOOOOD.

lol..I thought it was ironic that she kept Tad from his kid bc she thought she was dying and now he gets to have his girl now that she really is dead

When Josh said that could have been Babe, I thought that SHOULD have been Babe

I loved the flashbacks. I really wish that we had gotten more Di/Dixie scenes before she died. That relationship pretty much fizzled out once Dixie was revealed to be alive last year. I think it sucks that they never brought Lanie back bc I wanted to see all the Hunkle/Cooney/Henry children together

The flashbacks were nice. It reminded of the Luke/Laura scene last year on GH. However, during the flashback there was this ANNOYING buzzing sound. Not sure if it was my tv, television station, or AMC...but it bugged the hell out of me.

Is one hour of well-acted emotional drama worth losing the character of Dixie forever?

NO!

Say what you will about TPTB at GH but they would never kill Laura. AMC killed it's "Laura" IMO and that's just dumb.

Nope. Meryl Streep could come in and play whatever character for whatever reason and it still wouldn't be worth it.

Laura was already killed off in the early 80s, at the height of the Luke/Laura craze. They resurrected her though and she was written out not too long after. They blew up Anna and killed Brenda. That show hasnt had a problem with getting rid of killing off popular heroines over the years
