    Scotty, big question for you-is Doctor Doug really a role being cast at all? There is nothing about it at showfax, isn't that kind of odd? Wouldn't there be something up about this character like there is for Nancy who is listed? Thank you!

    Thanks for letting me know about that. I checked that Showfax.com last week and Dr. Doug was listed on there. However, there is nothing there about it tonight.

    It was there last week...I saw it there myself last Thursday, but it has since been removed.

    You're right...it would be listed there like Nancy and Marco are if it was in the process of being casted.

    So either, they have dropped the casting call for the role, or it has now been cast.

    Seems rather odd to me that they could cast such a big role in one week's time? Especially if he is a contract role for someone like Erika Slezak, Robin S. HBS or other. One week is not enough to get a feel for a new actor with these big divas. Maybe rewrites caused it to be dumped.

    And yeah, that does seem like a rather short period of time. It may have been up for several days before I saw it too...but still, it looks like it would have taken a lot longer to cast the role. They may be doing re-writes right now like you said.

    As I said, if they need a doctor, use Larry Wolek, not some new role.
