Members bellcurve
Gosh, I *LOVE* Liza Huber. I just hope she ends up on another show. She has grown so much as an actress since she came back to the show. I don't think the Gwen character gets half as much credit as she should. And Priscilla Garita as Theresa way by far my FAVORITE temporary recast ever!
Members RionPassions
I do not want them to turn Sheridan into a comical villain who uses stingrays to kill her enemies. It's Passions. She should be using the magicks of the sea witch.
Members PhoenixRising05
Thankfully, they haven't done it yet Drurocks but I wouldn't be surprised. Sheridan buried alive was a ripoff and not as good as Carly/Vivian but at least JER put somewhat of a new spin on it as some people knew she was done there. They just couldn't get to her. Sheridan was awesome in her early days. The Diana stuff was horrible but, other then that, she was great. Now would be the time for JER to pull out the "Brokeback" story he was rumored to do. This is one time I am giving JER my permission to do his classic "shock and awe" storytelling he has gotten used to using on Passions. The show could use some mainstream press and maybe it will give them some boost and help out. Hell, it's worth a shot. Meanwhile, keep this thread going because I love it. Members RionPassions
Doesn't anyone else wanna have sex with me, Fox, Jared, Noah, Ethan, and Sam? (I know Ethan, Sam, and Noah are all related, so they won't be doing the naughties together..and Ethan and Fox can't do anything either...so we have to be careful as to who's sucking on what and where things are being rammed and all that, but I think we can do it)
Members billyjill
Oooh I've never been part of a Passions cancellation thread before! Do we get one of those "... and all I got was a lousy ..." t-shirts?? Anyway I haven't read it all because it is froolin' impossible to get to the end of this thread, but so far ... That's my feeling on Days moving. Once it's gone it's pretty much gone, but if it goes to another network and sucks for a while, well I've put up with so much suckitude I might wait it out. I can understand that sentiment too, I am not a huge ABC Daytime fan (just catch GH) but it certainly would be really crowded over there and I can totally understand the indignance if a favorite were to get kicked out for the new kid on the block. Unfortunately NBC is already the least crowded network. I really want to think that NBC would still invest in Days if it was alone ... here's my thing. If soaps suffer because people are at work ... won't this affect whatever is in a noon timeslot, soap opera or no? Well but I guess that not everything will cost as much to produce as a soap. ETA: I just realized I said nothing about Passions in this post in a Passions thread ... I guess personally I wouldn't miss it but it's the same thing as it was with Days, things can get better if TPTB make the right changes. It has to think about the same things I think about with Days' future: what ratings will they settle for, are they content with their current target audience, etc. I do think, not being a Passions fan, that expanding the Today show is silly. Members mateo22
here, here! and if he were to write it well, which we know he can do, I think something like that could really put some new life into the show. Things have been fairly good these past couple of weeks and JER should try and 'stick it to Days'(if that is what he is doing) by making Passions better than it has been since the tsunami.
