GL - Edmund singing and playing the piano as several other characters gather around him and they sing "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas."

Must. See. Clip. Of. This. Any ideas where I could find one?

Of all the shows, Days does Christmas best IMO. You just feel like a part of the family watching them so pretty much all my christmas soap memories are from Days, especially from some of the recent ones:

-Christmas 1993 was great with Lisa Rinna's Billie singing while brought Belle back to Marlena at St Luke's. That scene made me cry like a baby.

-Christmas 1994 was the creepiest with everyone at St Luke's singing "Silent Night" and Marlena's bed shaking followed by levitating. Loved it,

-Christmas 1995 in Aremid was kind of nice with Jack racing back to Salem to bring the ornaments to Aremid so Jennifer and the others could have a traditional Christmas. Some great Bope stuff and I loved the moment where Kristen came into the church in Aremid and looked at John and, without words, she reached out for John to light her candle and then sat down with him and Marlena. I also loved the Lady in White lurking too with Tony's diary.

-Christmas 1997 was nice with J&J returning just in time to hang their ornaments and John giving Elvis back to Susan.

-Christmas 1999 with the Bo/Gina wedding and Hope in the castle, longing for her familt. We actually saw Stefano get emotional.

-Christmas 2000 with Bo and Hope's wedding and the race to get her to the church.

-Christmas 2001 and the special episode with the characters acting like themselves and reminiscing while also paying tribute to 9/11.

-Christmas 2002 with Lexie being forgiven and the focus on the couples.

-Christmas 2003 despite all the pain and suffering over the SSK deaths the way the families still came together, John and Marlena alone in the penthouse holding hands, Bonnie's tree lot, Jennifer pregnant, etc.

-Christmas 2004 was good with Bonnie's first Christmas as a Horton, Jan/Shawn, etc.

Passions had some good ones too with 2000 (ET proposal, SHUIS reunion) and 2004 being the best ones IMO.

OMG! How could I have forgotten that one!? Hope was in her wedding gown, in the limo on the way to the church. Lexie, Jennifer and Julie were also in the car. Hope was starving, so they decided to stop off at Buddy's Burger Barn... they all hop out of the limo and go running, including Hope who was in her wedding gown. They get back in the limo, start eating, when the driver suddenly slams on his breaks and food goes everywhere, all over Hope's gorgeous gown and all over her face. Hope had smeared lipstick everywhere, Julie squirted ketchup all over the dress. It was hilarious!

Dawn,

I have it. I'll try to youtube it. In years past, we used the audio for DAM's board but I think this year a video might be the way to go. :P

I know I'm missing a lot of Christmas moments but in 25 years of various soap watching, I forgot more than I remember.

LMAO. That was great. I also loved when they found Abe. whose car was stalled at the side of the road, and he got in the car all greasy and got it on Hope. Alice was kind of pissed at Julie when they got to the church since she promised they wouldn't stop anywhere on the way. Great stuff.

The buildup was great too with the party at Tuscany a few episodes before and the whole cast in a Conga line. I remember the bachelor party had Shawn and Philip asking to smoke cigars and asking to drink beer. I just loved these episodes with the wedding and the buildup.

Zander is released from jail and gets to hold Emily in his arms. It's also the night that he and Sonny were shot at outside the PCPD.

I believe it was Christmas 2003 on Guiding Light...minus all the men dressing like Santa...but when Blake and Ross married. It was one of the best things ELLEN WESTON ever wrote...
