And last but not least, she was not fired from Days. She has about six more weeks left on the show. Mimi is going to go off of the show for about a month. So that means that Farah has a month to decide whether she wants to go back to Days or not. She is going to be auditioning during pilot season, and she's going to see how things go. If she decides to go back, then obviously, she will be playing Mimi again. If not, they are going to recast. Oh, and she said that they are bringing Connor back. For those of you who don't know who Connor is; he is Mimi's younger brother. She also said that things are going to start getting exciting in Mimi's storyline. So you guys be sure to watch for that.

Looks like Mimi even if it's not Farah Fath will continue to appear on the show. I guess it makes more sense why HS is going to pursue the Max/Mimi storyline......

When Hogan meant new blood I didn't mean Connor. Well, I guess the best thing to hope for is a good recast but I can see FF coming back too. Ugh why is this happening? I wonder if this means Bonnie is sticking around since it seems the Lockharts are hear to stay. This could definitely effect the budget cuts.

Good lord. Fath will end up staying. Seriously, I will be angry if it does happen. She needs to go, and if Mimi must stay, lets get a fresh new face. The overhaul of that group is already started so we may as well get a new face for Mimi.

I wonder how long Mimi would be around, though? All teh previews have made Mimi/Max sound like a spoiler to Max/Abby, which is more the end game. I guess we'll see. I'm glad Mimi will be aroudn with Bonnie, if Bonnie were the only Lockhart around, it'd be weird. And I've always wanted to see Connor, so I'm open to it. They just have to do it right! (In other words, not like Patrick).

I wonder if Hogie intends to eventually pair Mimi with nuPhil? They both have dysfunctional families and now they share a child together. They also have been unlucky in love with Rex/Chloe and then Shawn/Belle.

I would like for Farah to stay but Bonnie needs to go. Why get rid of one criminal in this dysfunctional family only to bring in one who will more than likely be another sleeze. Just get rid of Bonnie. I detest her style of criminal behavior and lack of morals. Days has enough of that without making her sort of mockery. We could use some serious restructuring here. The way this is going, Philip could marry Bonnie (snicker).

I don't mind mimi with a recast at all. I think she could be a very interesting character with another actress.

As for bringing on Conner/Connor/however you spell it, I'm pretty neutral. On one hand, I'm not crazy about the Lockharts. On the other hand, who says he'll write them the same way JER did? He's already writing Bonnie in a way that I really enjoy (not to say I didn't enjoy her before... Judi's great!).

Additionally, I don't want a new family in Salem just yet. So beefing up a current family -- in a way that allows more mating in a NON-INCESTUOUS SENSE -- could be a pretty good idea.

I agree. I like Bonnie and Judi Evans and Connor may end up being interesting. The show needs families not connected to the Brady's and Horton's to avoid anymore incest so I think it's fine. However, as I said, as much as I have been liking FF as Mimi of late, I think I can only take this long term if she leaves and the role is recast. The rest of the bunch has been recasted so why not her? A better actor could probably add more depth to the character and make her more interesting.

I think some need to remember that this will not hurt Max and Abby. Hogan mentioned it would be a slow build for them (maybe due to Ashley's age) but some spoilers for this week already indicate progress for Maby so no worries there.

I want that girl OFF the show, and never to return. She is one of the worst actresses DAYS has ever had. But of course she will return, I hardly doubt she will make it anywhere else.

I think TPTB should do what they did with Kirsten Storms if they want to recast. Find a stronger actress, and tell the original we don't want you back. Mimi could be a better, rootable character, with someone that actually has some talent.
