Oh yeah? Well I heard that...

...The bible featured Erica Kane was the one who had a lesbian love affair with Brooke after the dissolution of her marriage to Jackson. It started off as the usual Brooke and Erica confrontation scene with Brooke berating Erica for staying true to form and acting like such a slut. Then Erica, having a hotflash from menopause (oh yeah, that's in the bible too), starts to take off her clothes to cool down -- and Brooke's interests are piqued...

Also, Jamie and JR decide to save Babe from Josh's horrendous stalking, since he just can't take "No" for an answer. The two brothers enter into a polygamous arrangement with Babe to fend off Josh for good. Little do they know that their non-existant bloodlines make it difficult for Jamie to not be attracted to his brother, and he starts to think up ways to get rid of Babe so JR could be all his.

Bianca decides to open up a Sex Toy division of Cambias with product specifically designed for the discriminating lesbian. She almost gets shut down by the SEC when she tries to finance lesbian porn with Cambias money. She convinces the SEC representative to look the other way by having Daytime's First Explicit Lesbian Love Scene. Sex toys. Lesbian porn... all the makings of a hot night!

If you don't believe me, ask my friend, who has a contact who has a source close to the man who worked at the thrift shop that the costume designer visited to dress the extra that overheard all this stuff.

Or, better still, we can just stop the inanity and wait until we get official confirmation from the network.

Starting rumors that NONE of us can prove is just mucking up the works. Every bit of false hope that is leaked out there plays right into hands of TIIC. Instead of tuning out in droves or writing and complaining about the gutter tripe we're watching and FORCING them to take notice and do something, we let days, weeks, months go by believing rumors that DON'T PAN OUT! Like a dog chasing its tail, we're occupying ourselves with empty amusement and TIIC are just skating along, in no hurry to make any real changes, because we're too busy salivating to the fantasies in our own mind!

I don't think Erica would be Brooke's type. If Brooke were a lesbian shed need somone lowr maintenance like say, OL's Nora or GH's Alexis. Erica would need an attractive (but not more attractive), strong and businessminded woman to butt heards with. YR's Jill. Good times.

 R Sinclair I have been anxiously awaiting your response to this and you did not disappoint!

I cannot believe people are buying into this. Well I can, people are desperate to believe, but what happened to common sense? There have been problems with the tale of Burton Armus from day 1 and anyone who bothered to take a minute to consider it would realize that.

Your last paragraph is frighteningly true.

But what do a couple of ignorant citizens like you and I know? lol

I want Burton Armus, [s.W.S.N.B.N.], Stephen Glass, and Jimmy from the infamous "Jimmy's World" article from the '80s to get together and write a show together. Insane, crazy, imaginary or not, it would still be better than what is currently on ABC.

Those stories sound SO GOOD! I love everything. Of course it's all too good to be true. Burton Armus & [s.W.S.N.B.N.] would have made a DYNAMITE writing duo for AMC. But it’s not meant to be. We’re stuck with McTavish and her idiotic, gloomy, unoriginal, repetitive and nauseating drivel. If I saw Frons on the street I’d throw mud in his ugly face.

REPUTED stuff that's in Armus's Bible:

Krystal was going to turn out to be the one who killed Erica's "son" and let Erica think she did it.

The entire town found out in a big way that Erica DID have the abortion and Josh not her son.

Erica wanted to destroy Brooke's new magazine after the debut issue featured The Top Model's Of All

Time and didn't include Erica on the list. After a nasty confrontation over being excluded, Brooke

featured Erica in the following edition with a story about "plastic surgery mishaps". Which made

Erica vow to destroy Brooke's new magazine.

Erica slept with Jeff which made Jackson run to Brooke's bed.

Everyone was working at Brooke's new magazine and Bianca and Krystal were assigned a special story

on "sexuality at birth" and ended up with Bianca getting Krystal to experiment sexually. Originally, Bianca just wanted a "sex tape" of her and Krystal doing it so she could humiliate her, but over time, Bianca fell in love with Krystal and Krystal became confused. Babe caught them in bed and ran into a storm and crashed her car.

Ryan Lavery was being blackmailed for "porno flicks" he did in the past with other men and a

murder mystery was to result from it after an "ex-boyfriend" arrived from San Francisco.

Nina Cortland was called home after Palmer went for a walk and came up missing. When he was found

and saw Nina and Myrtle and Opal--he no longer recognized them. He was diagnosed with alzheimers and Nina had returned to town with a "pill" addiction. Myrtle was revealed to be keeping a horrible secret and Palmer was now regularly visited by "PHOEBE TYLER" through a special "filmic illusion" process that takes old scenes of Phoebe and makes it appear she's talking in new scenes. The "illusion" of PHOEBE told Palmer that he is going to die soon and that he should tell Nina the big secret, but he refused. Opal asked Myrtle if they should tell Nina the big secret that they've kept all these years.

Janet from Another Planet returned to work for Erica Kane.

I honestly don't know if this is all true, but a very good source tells me that these were part of

the bible.

All of that stuff sounds like a dream! I just love it (especially JFAP working for Erica)!

I see some people are questioning whether or not all of this is true. Even if this stuff was NOT in the supposed story bible, I still think all of it is awesome and whoever dreamed it up (Armus or not) should be AMC's new HW!

The Brooke/Erica stuff sounds SOOOOOO good!! It is better than anything going on with the show right now true or not. And I want the un-abortion storyline to go away and Josh to disappear from the canvas so badly too. We can all hope and dream that McTavish will be gone soon and a better era will start for AMC. If it doesn't happen soon though, I really think AMC could get canceled.

Wow...all sounds good, except the Bianca/Krystal stuff. That kind of grosses me out. If you sub Laura for Krystal..that'd work. A Laura/Bianca pairing would add more fuel to the Erica/Brooke feud. Of course, now that Brooke's leaving...sigh...

I would hope that IF there is a new HW, the first priority would be to get rid of the Laverys and Careys. Well, I guess Ryan could stay if they play up that "porn star past" angle and stop making him the savior of Pine Valley.

I think the Dixie cult thing would work too...not only could it explain her behavior, it'd make a good 'social storyline'.

But I guess none of it's to be...and we get serial killers, more DNA crap, and...Zarf.

I hate Frons. Who is HIS boss and how do we complain to him/her about this jerk?

B. Armus would be great as an associate head writer & breakdown writer on AMC. Many of his ideas in his AMC Bible are interesting. Armus has been watching AMC for about 3 decades, so he definately knows the show's rich, compelling & complex history. Once he's proven himself as a very capable writer for AMC, he can be promoted to the head writer position. He has connections in the TV writing field & many a few of them can help AMC become the great drama it once was.

Imagine my luck, while I was skiing this morning I (literally) smacked right into Burton Armus. And you know what he said to me?

He doesn't know All My Children from Gilligan's Island.

Okay so that's not true, but neither was anything else having to do with this guy.

Megan's in for the long haul, which may consequently be a short haul :(

    • I think they’re desperately trying to cover his awful tattoos. But anyway them being unable to style short kings properly has been a major pet peeve of mine for a while now.  I honestly don’t understand what some people expect from actors to even begin considering them for recognition. Let’s be real—awards mostly mean that an actor is respected by their peers and has some level of cultural relevance. Actual judgment on the acting itself? That’s often secondary—highly subjective and shaped by the times. I completely agree on both points. If you’re an actor or a dancer you shouldn’t get any tattoos (sorry not sorry). Tomas’ tattoos are ugly too. And regarding the couples- you’re completely right. These writers are unable to write romance.   Further comments: - Kat cannot be this dumb to keep tampering with evidence over and over again. And I’m officially not a fan of the actress—every time she’s in a scene with Leslie, she doesn’t seem intimidated at all. She plays it like comic relief, which is just too much, especially when paired with Leslie’s histrionics and over-the-top antics. Leslie is older, dangerous, and has literally been portrayed as homicidal—Kat should be at least a little scared. • I also didn’t like Kat playing damsel in distress with the hotel manager. It gave off the same weird energy as Dani with the cop. I would’ve much preferred the version Paul Raven suggested, with her sneaking in through housekeeping. • And yes, Dani again accused Hayley of faking the pregnancy—this time even specifying she might be using a pillow under her shirt. (No fake miscarriage being mentioned) I stand by my take: this is ridiculous writing. No one in the real world—except us, the chronically online soap watchers—would even think of such a conspiracy theory. Haley is no Beyoncé. • What in the world was Chelsea wearing in her hair the other day? And this whole thing with Madison is beyond cringe. Chelsea’s coming off as needy and toxic—basically like every other Dupree. • I’m glad the casino storyline is moving forward, but it’s still boring as hell. Honestly, I’d be so here for a plot twist where Vanessa and Doug take Joey out. • The direction and editing lately have been rough. Abrupt cuts, weird pacing… something just feels off overall. There’s a strange uneasiness to how it’s all coming together. • And finally: Tomas is too much of a saint. Where are the messy sluts when you need them? (Vanessa doesn’t count.)
    • I was watching some August 1987 episodes and they brought back so many memories. I had some thoughts: Lisa and Jamie were so dull. Lisa was such a nothing character. It boggles my mind that so much story was centered around her in such a short amount of time. Joanna Going is a talented actress, but the material was just not there.  It was so good to see Wallingford and Mitch again. I know there was talk about Felicia a while back, but these episodes reminded me how integral Felicia was for the show.  Sally Spencer was done so dirty. She is turning in superb performances in an icky storyline. I wish she had stuck around longer. She has chemistry with everyone. The McKinnons should have lasted longer. Spencer had some strong stuff with Stephen Schnetzer and Mary Alexander. AW waster such a talented actress by getting rid of her. Justice for Cheryl too. I also missed Ed Fry when he left. Sandra Ferguson was a star from the moment she came on. She was charismatic and just popped. She had immediate chemistry with RKK and blended in well with Wyndham and Watson. I'd forgotten about the teenage Matthew.  I have no memory of Peggy Lazarus. She must not have lasted long. Was the original plan for John that he was going to turn out to be the twins' real father?
    • If the new and improved copies that @rsclassicfanforever has uploaded can be manually moved into the "by month, by year" folders, that would be awesome. I personally don't think it's necessary to keep the older versions (which either have Dutch subtitles hard coded on them, or are lesser in picture quality). That's a lot of valuable drive space that could be cleared. Just my view but can appreciate others may feel differently. The structure had been by month by year previously, so I think it would be easier to conform to that, where so much prior work to get it to that format has already been done. Hopefully you can "drag and drop" so the new copies are in the right month/year? Re Clips, I never look at them now we pretty much have the episodes in full. Appreciate others may use, however. Thanks for all your hard work here @BoldRestless!
    • Oh yes defintely, Josh Griffith repeats and repeats the same storylines.
    • Isnt’t this storyline similar to the Cameron Kirsten situation though? Sharon thought she killed him. He ended up being alive and Sharon was being tormented with thinking she was seeing his face everywhere and that’s how we got that iconic scene with her and Nikki in the sewers.   I understand in Mariah’s case this is different circumstances but it does seem like a play on that whole thing. Maybe I’m wrong. I just wish if they were going to make any character follow in Sharon’s foot steps it would be Faith. Mariah wasn’t even raised by her, and her personality is different. I would expect her to take a different path. I understand I could be completely jumping ahead because the storyline hasn’t even played out yet but we’ll see.
    • Thanks again @Paul Raven Monica was completely without redeeming qualities at this point. I always found the whole Monica = Carly narrative regressive, as I don't think shows comparing characters so heavily is ever a great idea, but she's actually worse than Carly was. Was it the Pollocks who had Leslie have a miscarriage?  Giving her a child, especially by rape, was not a good idea, but a part of me wishes they'd committed to it just to see what story it might have had in later years.
