DAYS: Annie Burgstede (Willow) upped to contract status

I'm pretty sure that the temperature was checked before the offer was extended to Anne. Personally I believe she is terribly slighted by the fans. I see a cute, well-built young woman, doing an excellent job of stealing Belle's "true love" (facetious of course) with no place on the show at all yet. Of course, the fans won't like her if they are affiliated with Shawn and Belle especially, or Mimi and Shawn.

Willow's the latest spoiler in the Shawn-Belle saga. It's natural she wouldn't be received well.

I personally love the character. It's a nice influx of fresh, non-Horton/Brady/DiMera/Roberts blood. I find Anne's portrayal to be well rounded. I like that she's a fleshed out character, with vulnerability and strength, unlike NBC's other prostitute.

I think the actress could act a little better, but I'm neutral to Willow. I want Belle to have a real rival, not her best friend turned lying, whimpering shell of a former character self ... lol.

I'll give the actress time and Willow a chance, but meh ... Jan would of sufficed. She could of come out of her coma a "changed woman" and won over Shawn that way, only revealing a nasty side to Belle.

Can't stand anything about this actress/character. I hope that when her first cycle is up, she is gone. Not really enjoying this news at all.

Bad Hogan. (IMO)

At least this is the first bad thing I think Days has done since he has been writing.

Liked her in her first few episodes...but that has turned into MAJOR disgust and HATE!!

BAD move by DAYS to put this girl on a contract...I definetly do not want Willow around anymore.

I agree with those that are saying she still feels like she is only short-term.

I have never been pro Shelle or pro Shimi, and I cannot stand Willow. I do not think the actress is very good, she plays the character like a cartoon IMO and the lines are sooo cheesy that I almost think they're doing it on purpose to make the Shelle reunion that much more anticipated. She is additionally clearly just a plot device, and I actually can understand and accept that (it happens) but that is also exactly why she shouldn't be getting this much airtime. Keep her around, sure, but don't throw her in my face. Her introduction was way rushed and the actress is not good enough to survive that. JMO.
