Yeah, even on Peacock, I just got "McKinnon-ed"-out. She's extremely talented, yes. But, too much overexposure on a performer or a series tends to make me not want to take interest. For example, American Horror Story. When everyone and their great-grandmother started jumping on the bandwagon with that show, I just couldn't watch it, lol! I really couldn't.

That was cool to see.

I thought this season was really good with the new cast members and new writers.   The big standouts for me were Sarah Sherman (her quirkiness, and her segments on Weekend Update with Colin Jost), James Austin Johnson (his Trump impression), and the Please Don't Destroy guys.   I also liked Aristotle Athari when he got a chance to shine, but he didn't get many opportunities, not like Sarah and JAJ did.

I though Chris Redd got more and I hope that will continue.  His first sketch as Mayor Adams was one of the best from this season.

I've always liked Pete from the beginning but it still amazes me how big he is now, in pop culture.  I'm going to miss his music video segments.

    • It does, and I don't get it. This feels like Josh Griffith's middle finger to fans. They're end game, right? That's how most people feel. So what reason could there be to keep them apart? Are we supposed to wait until Y&R is canceled and then see them reunite in the last month? Joshua Morrow and Sharon Case have FIRE chemistry with each other -- and they strain to have any chemistry at all with anyone else. Isn't that obvious by now? I can't explain it, but we've all seen it. A decent writer could give us Shick AND good stories with them.
    • Ben Collins, CEO of the company that owns The Onion, says they don't use A.I.
    • As long as Kent and Griffith are in charge, the show is doomed.
    • To clarify, they didn't really date.  They pretended to be on a date once or twice due to a an interest in fooling someone else at the event/restaurant/whatever.  It wasn't planned by them to be real.   I think one of them became sort of interested at some point ?
    • A shame the Ben/Thomasina tease didn't go anywhere.  I didn't know until last year that they brought Thomasina back a few days before Quinn was murdered. I guess it's nice that they got those last moments of happiness but then you remember they never would have brought her back if they weren't going to kill Quinn off.
    • Very. It's VERY annoying, too.
    • I just remember Kristina coming on to her slightly and val freaking out
    • Not trying to be a contrarian, but I don't think the show needs a rival family.  Rival families have been over-done on soaps since the 1980s. And it might make the show too predictable.  I'd prefer they beef-up the have-not group with perhaps a couple of workers from the Country Club and one or two Dupree servants, joining the existing group of have-nots.  They could all know one another without being a real "family."  That would give the audience more opportunity to see Fairmont Crest life from the "backstairs."  To me this would be a far more interesting perspective than another wealthy family to rival the Duprees.
    • I wonder if that's why Valerie quit. I think some of the magazines at the time implied issues with Valerie and the producer, although I may be wrong. Painting Diana as going bad would have made more sense to me near the end of her run.
    • Carter & Thomasina were also stuck with a baby almost immediately and didn't get much to do after they finished high school. Carter's father was killed off and Marley drifted out of their friend group because of Jake. They left town after Carter's father died (of tomb dust!) and before Quinn died (unreasonably murdered by the Sin Stalker for dating Zack Edwards).
