Whoa, in the new promo, Carrie looks completely homicidal! Here's a transcript.

"On Days of Our Lives, this note is about to blow Sami's world apart."

We see the gloved hand slide a note underneath the door to Sami's apartment.

Carrie, Austin and Lucas are inside, reading the note.

CARRIE: You deliberately kept Austin and me apart? You deliberately lied to Lucas?

SAMI: It all worked out, didn't it?

CARRIE: I'M GONNA KILL YOU!

Carrie attacks Sami and puts her hands around her throat.

Then, we see Sami and Carrie rolling around on the floor, covered in what looks like cake, fighting.

"And this is one fight she's not going to win..."

CARRIE: I'm going to let EVERYONE know what you did.

"Days of Our Lives."

WORD!! Just because Carrie cheated on Lucas and lied, DOES NOT mean that Sami doesn't deserve to go down for what she did to all three of them.

NONE of this would have happened if it weren't for Sami and the [!@#$%^&*] better pay through the nose! She played god with everyones life and if it had been me she was [!@#$%^&*] with and I found out, the authorities would need to restrain me!

What Sami did has been practically obliterated. Yes, it was horrible, but all she did was blackmail Lexie. LEXIE cheated on Abe. LEXIE fabricated the lie that she thought would push Carrie to choose Lucas. CARRIE chose Lucas because she wanted to pass on her Godlike genes instead of adopting. Yes, I understand that biological urge to have your own child, but at the expense of your own happiness!? Sami sat and back and watched this happen. And she kept the truth of what she did hidden. Knowing or not knowing the truth did NOT impact what happened. Carrie still strayed toward the man she really loved. Carrie still cheated on the man SHE decided to marry. Last time I checked, Sami didn't coerce Carrie into accepting Lucas' proposal OR signign a marriage license with him, or sleeping with him. What Sami did has had little to no actual effect in the grand scheme of things, which is why i think this whole thing is kind of pointless. But I will say this - I HATE that it's being laid all on Sami. It shouldn't be. For onc eint heir lives, everyone in this quad has made human mistakes. They ALL should take that responsibility. No surpise that Sami takes the heat.

Sami was manipulated into doing the things she as Stan. Instead of trying to understand her like the character of Lucas should have the capacity, too (even he hadn't become Austin II), he vilified her and treated her like trash. So, who can blame Sami when Austin came back, all supportive and rescuing her AGAIN, for wanting to be with him again? Austin was the loser that went there again. How could he even think of it, after Vegas? Carrie is the one who couldn't take a step back and realize that, just because Austin took over her company, doesn't mean he doesn't care about her. She's been in the business world long enough to know that. And she's certainly known HIM long enough. She's also always known about the crush Lucas has on her. She pretend that shge was trying to be selfless in letting Sami have Austin, but the truth is, if she knew anything about her sister, she'd have known that he was the last thing she needed. She blinded accepted Lucas' proposal and forced herself to believe she was carrying his child when she wasn't even pregnant! I'm sorry, but SAMI is the lesser offender, thank you very much!

ITA. They all have done things that have hurt eachother.

Lexie IS the one that came up with the lie. I did notice not to long ago that the show made it appear that it was all Sami, I think it was when Tek told Roman, Abe, etc. about what happened. Lexie is Carrie's doctor, she should have told the truth.

As for the clip, thanks by the way Joshua for that, Carrie threatening to tell everyone what Sami did, Doesn't everyone know already besides the quad?! LOL...

OMG! THAT CLIP IS OUTSTANDING!

I am so sad CC will be gone in just a few weeks. Tear. I hope Hoagie brings CC and AP back sporadically for events. I think there's more of a chance of that happening with Hoagie then JER at the realm, considering JER is so obsessed with current stories to ever acknowledge history or familial connections.

I like Sami, and I love Sami/Lucas, but the fact is Sami has to pay for what she did in order to grow up like Hogan is trying to do with her. Carrie came home having made peace with her sister after everything Sami had done to her, and without provocation from her sister, Sami went right back into destroying her sister's life - all because Sami was too immature to believe she could be without a man, and if she couldn't have the one she really wanted (Lucas) , Austin would have to do. Sami wants what she wants when she wants it, and if having her second best man to console her for however long means she has to ruin Carrie and Austin's futures, then she figured she'd just have to do that because her pain is the most important thing - and she wasn't even in love with Austin! Carrie and Austin are deeply boring characters to me, but they didn't deserve what she did to them simply out of selfish self-pity, as opposed to any actual delusions of love for Austin as she'd had in the '90s.

Everything Austin and Carrie did since, every stupid choice, every stolen kiss, is something Sami set in motion by blackmailing Lexie to lie to Carrie, deliberately playing on her "beloved sister's" deepest fears, and forcing the four characters to all pretend to play house with the wrong person so Sami could try and deal with her feelings of losing Lucas in the dumbest, most childish and destructive way possible. She brought this all on herself. Carrie should take a strip off her, and then Sami can really start to grow up and become a rootable adult character. I can't wait.

    • To bring over from the May Sweeps Thread from @Chris B   I know the fashions have gotten mixed reviews but I actually like what the new costume designer is putting the cast in. It feels more modern and the more tacky pieces I feel make sense for rich people. They're buying for the brand and the price and we often see celebs in things like this. Especially for a character like Nikki, I feel the more over the top (and tacky), the more realistic it is.   I agree. While it has been hit and miss no question, I have found it fascinating to watch what the costume designer is attempting to do with the various characters and their clothes. Some have been overdue. Some have been fascinating. But (outside of Billy) not boring to watch. I definitely find it more modern as well.   My growing issue has been it's not good that the best reason to watch Y&R as of late has been to see what people are wearing rather than the writing. It feels like a red flag.
    • Haha. The fact that I stopped regularly viewing at the same time and know what you are talking about is chef's kiss.    I'm slowly bingewatching Nurse's Ball Week. But it's slow for me because a lot of the same tics and writing flaws for me that made me throw up my hands is still evident *cough*CVE*cough* Thankfully, there are some things I like also and from a glance in the GH May Thread, it seem like it had a good Sweeps with good fallout. And do I even need to mention Nina finally slapping the taste out of Carly's mouth? See? Regardless of her flaws, I do enjoy Korte-headed episodes over CVE-headed episodes because they always seem to have more emotional resonance to long-time fans.
    • And that charity does still get mentioned from time to time. I want to say the last time was some time this year, too.
    • Oh, no. Vernon has definitely had his moments.   Choose silence anyone?
    • Search YT for Edwyn Sanchez, he posted an AI enhanced episode of ATWT and it is beautiful.
    • That's so funny, that's how I listen to Montecito - while walking my dog. I'll have to check out Forever & a Day.
    • I need to listen! Forever & a Day was a fun soapy podcast to have available when I walked the dog.
    • A few years ago, Devon and Nick started a charity organization together, I think it's for housing in the community.
    • I’m hoping to start getting to know Vernon better this month. He’s really only been a bunch of noble and good tropes so far. I don’t want him to be taken down the way Ted has been, but it seems he was a long-running Senator and no matter what party you are, lasting longer than twenty years means you’re looking out for you (and not who you’re supposed to be looking out for) most of all. I want to get to know both Vernon and Anita beyond their Dupree posturing. Clifton Davis can sleepwalk handling the kind of material Christopher Bernau and David Lewis handled and I’d like to see more than just a saint.
    • I thought Emily/Hal was a really interesting pairing. And I think KMH played that version of Emily very well! It might not have been what people wanted from Emily, and the writing got pretty gross at the end, but I thought she embodied that character effectively.
