Members alexisfan07
Did anyone catch the extended version of "Goodbye, Michael" last night? I liked it a lot more than the original. It felt more fleshed out, not as rushed, and more time for Michael and the office people and less screentime for Ferrell in relation to everyone else. Not that I didn't like the episode when it aired but seeing the intended cut (which will obviously be on the DVD and split into two for syndication purposes) helped boost it for me. Members Cheap21
I hate Gabe. He's the worst character ever on this show. Not even funny. Its a comedy but I really would love it if they killed him off. Hopefully he left and never returns
Members alexisfan07
He's in the new cast photo so I doubt he's going anywhere
Members jcar03
I didn't know there was an extended version. Why didn't they just make the first one an hour instead of 50 minutes?
Members DAMfan
I don't have anything against the other guys up for a Emmy this year - however there will be no justice if Steve Carell doesn't win…"that's what she said."

Members jcar03
Second! I might throw something if he doesn't. He deserved to win one years ago but always got beat by the Emmy's obsession with honoring the same person.

Administrator Toups Posted September 25, 2011 Author Administrator Share Posted September 25, 2011 I love Andy so I was glad he was chosen as the Manager. James Spader and Robert California is a great addition too.
Members jcar03
I was glad to see it was Andy too. He does stupid stuff but you find yourself liking him anyways. I really enjoyed the first episode of the season.
Members DAMfan
Glad it was Andy too [they did good a job keeping it a secret] also like James Spader and I have met people like Robert California.
Members alexisfan07
I hate to be a downer but I just wasn't feeling the first episode. Glad about Andy and I like Spader but the laughs fell short for me. I feel like BJ Novak (who wrote and directed) is usually hit or miss.
