Some of us may think it's freshing to have a male character like Frankie, JSF. I think it's AWFUL that this character, with an actor with the potential and talent of Billy Warlock, got saddled with what he did, but I love that we neve rlost the essence of the Frankie character. He's just a deep down good guy, and its a damn shame that we will not get to see that fleshed out under a more positive spotlight.

Well, we can agree with that. I can deal with a 'good' guy. Not one who sits around and mopes over the same woman, even after her freaking husband came back from the dead! Franks should have left town the SECOND Jack showed up at that church. He bought himself months more of pain for sticking with his obsession.

I have a comment about Patrick's fingerprints being on the evidence disk. Wouldn't Patrick's fingerprints be on the evidence since he is the one that got the disk from the man that works at the gas station?

DAYSisHOT, I believe you're confusing the discs in questions. Patrick's fingerprints aren't on the disc that shows Eve breaking into the evidence room (the one Hope needed to see to believe that Bo didn't break in and sabotage the case against Chelsea). Two different discs.

Um.... after losing Jennifer in the early 1990s, Frankie most definitely *did* become involved with someone. HellOOOOO, Eve Donovan (a character who was like prototype Sami). In fact, Frankie & Eve left town together to go to Africa (I think it was Africa). It's not like Jennifer's the only person in his entire life he's ever been involved with. Hell, he cheated on her with Paula the teacher the 1st time around.

Well, honestly, I didn't watch the show until 1992 and JER's great ERA, and I mostly remember the Possession and not Jack and Jenn stories until Peter came into the fold and made that one F'HOT triangle.

So I'm confused, supposedly 'good guy' Frankie-Boy actually CHEATED on the sainted Jennifer? Ha! Not such a good guy after all. Now I'm starting to believe this whole good guy act was just that -- an act. Maybe he gets off on fooling people into believing he's a genuine good guy. Maybe all those times Lexie called him 'selfless' made him hard. I can't get inside his demented mind so I don't know, but a 'good' guy does not cheat on his lady love. Perhaps some people have viewed Frankie's return with rose-colored lenses? He sounds like quite the player! Jenn should have stayed away and given Jack the obligatory one-year grieving process, particularly since that's how long it would take for her to understandably believe that yes, he really had died 'this' time.

That was not a disc. It was a tape into the computer that got corrupted. The disc is the one that shows Chelsea driving the SUV with her cell phone up to her ear.

I'm going to avoid another argument over DAYS: I've been in too many of them lately on this board LOL :lol:

All I will say is that I feel bad for Billy Warlock, who I think deserved far more than being the third wheel in a triangle with Matt & Missy. Surely there were better things the writers could have done with the character of Frankie? :(

Frankie/Bille perhaps?

You were watching when Frankie was trying to leave and dying Jack begged him to stay and the times Frankie tried to leave and Jen begged him to stay. He is a successful attorney with a practice in Washington DC so he was doing Jack a huge favor and Jen a huge favor but he got trapped as Jack wanted him to do as did Jen by actually falling in love. It was quite evident today that Frankie had genuinely fallen in love with Jen and that she had fallen in love with him, too, only she followed her heart with Jack in the end.

About Frankie's being such a woman, this is the truth....it takes a strong man to face his emotions. Most won't, some can't and the stronger do. I'm a genuine Frankie (as played by Billy) fan.

No. Frankie/Lexie!

And I completely agree, Jean, on how much of a man Frankie is. Yes, he's done it too much, but that's the repetition of a Reilly-paced show, not necessarily a true character flaw.

Warlock was great today! Great! As was Reeves.

Warlock and Reeves rocked. I am so happy Missy came back into her own and finished strong after everything that happened under JER. The J&J/Abby scenes were so great and fun to watch. Love the talk with Harold and the references to him being Jack's "boyfriend." I love how the pace was breakneck and how we went from Jack in dnager, Jack in remission, Jack goes home, Jen and Frankie say goodbye, and J&J decide to leave Salem. Love their scenes but Warlock really got me. I disagree with you JSF-I love Frankie for being who he is. Honestly, as much as I love J&J, I wouldn't blame her if did choose Frankie. What woman wouldn't after all he did for Jennifer? I am happy J&J reunited but Frankie is just a genuine good guy and I actually teared up with him. I wish Days could find a way to hold on to him. I didn't like how it already sounded like he was headed out the door but I know that is not the case so I guess it's fine. Lexie and Frankie did have some sparks but I don't know if it would last. Warlock got to me though-he shined today. Many Days stars are actually getting big moments to show their stuff and Warlock did today.

Loved Abe telling that jackass Shawn off. Shawn annoyed the hell out of me. Loved the ending and the big reveal. I was happy Bonnie and Mimi were there and the looks on their faces was priceless. The writing for Bonnie has improved and that makes me happy for Judi Evans. I hope Days finds a way to use her talent properly.

I actually liked Patrick/Tek and I think Patrick was setup. I do agree Patrick is involved somehow but I don't think he committed the murder. I am really starting to warm up to Tek.

Good show today-much better the yesterday's. Tomarrow looks amazing and incredibly emotional and Friday seems good as well :)

Actually, I saw Jennifer's speech as the typical insulting "It wasn't you, it was me" speech a woman gives a man when they have no genuine feelings and are just trying to brush the guy off. No way is she in love with him. You don't take 2 minutes 54 seconds to dump someone you are in love with.

Billy Warlock is a great actor but Frankie is an utter joke of a character. He has no depth whatsoever and is entirely defined by the pathetic 20 year candle he's been carrying for Jennifer.

JSF....you are 100% right. Frankie is not the saint he is portrayed to be. He cheated on Jennifer with his college professor back in the day and then dumped her in a letter. And when he returned in 1990, he tried hard to undermine Jack and Jennifer's relationship by casting aspersions on Jack's character. Also, Jack may have asked Frankie to take his place, but Frankie still took full advantage of Jennifer's grief and depression. His saintly exterior conceals a pretty good manipulator. It's a shame the show never explored that angle since Frankie as the villain might actually make him an interesting character.

Well, Frankie is a lawyer...

I totally bought the Frankie/Jack friendship. Jack used to be a pretty dark guy too. Perhaps he understood Frankie's former manipulations and actions and deep down, he trusted him with Jennifer because honestly, Frankie and Jack were her two biggest loves.

Unfortunately, thanks to JER's shoddy writing, these relationships were never fully explored and examined because JER was too hard up on doing yet another triangle. I think under Beth, Hogan, and his team, we would have gotten a real good, complex story.

I agree Bree-I wish all of it was explored more too.

I just loved when Jack and Frankie hugged. I just love their friendship and that is one thing this triangle had. Both men were rootable IMO but the triangle was forced and that hurt. Jen and Frankie never had a chance the way it was played and that was JER's mistake. Nonetheless, we got some great acting yesterday and we will get some great stuff today. I still wish Warlock would stay :( .
