Where did Chelsea get the pills? Is she on pills? Or is she just drunk?

I actually like Chelsea and I hate that she is self destructing again.

Steve and Kayla are amazing to watch, considering that I've never watched them as Steve and Kayla...only Stefan and Kathy...so this is new. Watching Stephen Nichols as Steve is just...weird.

However, its still a good show.

I caught the last half. I think she was on ectacy? I don't know how she got them.

You know what I am realizing. Minus this whole Kayla/Steve/Billie storyline, I am not really LOVING any storylines on DAYS right now, but I am still enjoying every episode thoroughly. So weird.

King, it's because the quality of the writing has changed. There are actual writers, who know how to write soaps, at the helms of Days of our Lives now. This is one of the reasons Y&R is so great. Some of the stories are a drab (J.T./Colleen, J.T./Mac, Kevin/Jana), but when written well, even the worst storylines can be taken in by viewers as greatness.

EJ gave Chelsea the drugs.

Oh my God! Steve is an insensitive JERK!!! My poor Kayla...he doesn't want to live in the house, he doesn't seem to thrilled to reconnect with her...isn't obvious, Kay? He's DYING to screw Billie Reed. Get in the pants of some skank that's more on his 'level.' Oy.

Something funny, though. When Kayla said that "sabeechay" or whatever was one of Steve's favorites, I thought she said "a BJ." I had to do a double take!

EJ gave Chelsea the drugs.

I don't think so. I just watched the scene (live). He pulled them out of her purse, it seemed.

OMG I thought the exact same thing. LOL!

Today's show was SO hard to watch for me, not because it was bad or anything, but just having to watch Kayla go through such rejection from the man that was the love of her life and would have NEVER hurt her like this. And I know he doesn't have his memory, but REALLY, why Billie....oh yah she is the town whore so why not I guess <_<

I loved the Bo/Kayla scenes, they have such a good brother/sister dynamic in their scenes and I want more of them.

Patrick/Hope = Vomit in my mouth. Nuff said!

I want Patrick gone SOOOO damn bad it ain't even funny anymore!! Cannot stand this !@#$%^&*]!

Good show though!

Yeah. That was my point. ;)

No, Nick is an insensitive JERK!!!

Kayla will conquer through, she's strong!

What Nick is doing is classic Steve Johnson. Cut and run when you start to feel something real. He ran from Kayla because what he's feeling for her scares the hell out of him. He's attracted to Billie because she's no threat to him emotionally.

For what it's worth, Nick has never been more Steve Johnson than when he was sitting on that couch yelling "I'm not that guy. I'm not Steve Johnson."

Here's what I posted on another board (sorry it's so long):

So out of all the scenes in today's episode, do you know which I found the most difficult to watch?

Steve flirting with Billie? Nope

Steve kissing Billie? Nope

Steve and Kayla sitting down to each dinner? ding ding ding ding

SN and MBE really are masters at this. Steve and Kayla are both clearly walking on eggshells with each other, both wanting to give the other what they need but completely unable to right now. And both so afraid of saying or doing the wrong thing. Both so desperately uncomfortable. SN and MBE are so good at it that I cringed my way through their opening scene. (Even more amazing when you consider how completely comfortable they actually are with each other as friends and as actors)

The writers have absolutely laid the groundwork here. Kayla has her husband's body back and she wants nothing more than to have his mind and heart back and start living her life with him again. She's pushing a bit too hard and making a few wrong but perfectly understandable moves and everything she does is freaking Nick out just a little bit more.

I see Nick as having two major problems right now (apart from the whole amnesia, life ripped away from him thing): (1) Kayla's asking him for something he doesn't have to give. He isn't the man she's in love with, doesn't even know him, and (2) what he's starting to feel for Kayla is unlike anything he's felt in his short, shallow life and it's scaring the holy bejeesus out of him.

Kayla's story about removing the patch and the kiss she gave him got to him in a very big way. He feels something extremely powerful. His whole body was vibrating with it. He couldn't even catch his breath. He has to end this with her NOW because it scares the [!@#$%^&*] out of him and even if he could get past his own fear, he could end up seriously hurting this woman who loves the man she thinks he is.

So he's ending it. Ripping the Band-Aid off. "I want you to do yourself a favor and steer clear of me. ... Don't you get it. I'm not giving you a choice."

He doesn't feel good about his decision, we know that from the tune he's playing on his harmonica -- it was always a window to what he was feeling. It's mournful, but also has a bubbling energy (toward the end). He's got a lot of feelings bouncing around inside.

Enter Billie, who sees him and immediately gets a very calculating look in her eye. I'm not certain yet that she isn't working an angle for the ISA. If she isn't, then she needs serious therapy because she looked downright pleased to find him there looking dejected and alone.

Steve may or may not be working an angle with Billie himself. His "I've got too many things to do line" suggests there's more going on in his life than we're privy to right now. He's either flirting with her because he's suspicious of her or because she's everything Kayla isn't (easy, uncomplicated, did I mention easy?) or both.

The Billie/Steve thing honestly isn't worrying me at all. Contrast the fakeness in Steve's smile and flirty demeanor against the "real" Steve/Nick who kissed Kayla in the hotel or even the one who yelled at her.

One way or another, Billie is a means to an end right now. He needs to stuff his feelings for Kayla away and convince her its over. What's more perfect than woman who just told you she goes for unavailable men, isn't looking for a relationship but wouldn't mind having a good time?

Nothing in today's episode was in service of a B/S storyline.

Nick/Steve is being perfectly reasonable, IMO.

I agree with both KR and GBB. I wouldn't worry about Steve/Billie. His only attraction to Billie is because there is no strings attached and she knows nothing about him. He has no memory and she is one person who knows about as much as he does and that adds to the attraction. I like it as a complication and, like GBB said, Nick has never been more Steve then he was on that couch. I was hurting right along with Kayla but I am really loving where this went today because it's like the old days with Steve pushing Kayla away because he doesn't feel like he can live up to her expectations or make her happy. It's also nice to see Billie have something to do even though she is going to take another hit for coming between another supercouple. I just love how Billie is being written right now and I just loved seeing the Steve/Kayla flashback and the harmonica. Great scenes here with Steve/Billie/Kayla.

EJ never gave Chelsea the drugs. He heard a noise and found her. He noticed something was wrong and went through her purse and pulled out the drugs. I did like seeing their interaction and I am loving both Scott and Melvin.

Max, Billie, Stephanie was good. Steph and Max work well as friends and I just love Brooks.

Also-a big THANK YOU to Days for no SFX in the flashbacks or endings of late. I agree with DrewHamilton that the writing is making everything good right now. It can make bad stories look good and right now it is making Days must see, along with the acting. I am loving the show right now more then I have in at least 8 years.

OMG I thought the exact same thing. LOL!

Are you talking about tomarrow's US show Mitch? Patrick, Hope, and Bo were not on Tuesday's US show-at least not the one I saw.

Sorry yes, my Patrick/Hope comments and the Kayla/Bo comments are in reference to tomorrow's US episode. I watched both US and Canadian today because I missed Day-Ahead yesterday.

LOL, I often watch Day-Ahead so totally forgot about 9/12 being the show that was on yesterday (for Day-Ahead...lol, that sounds so fucked)

It's cool Mitch :)

I saw Bo/Kayla in the previews at the end today and figured you were talking about tomarrow.

Interesting day. I wondered why Kayla treated Steve to a posh dinner and her all decked out in her Sunday best as a way of getting to him...Steve....whom she knows better than he does. That didn't work for me. She wouldn't have done it that way at all in my judgement so I didn't like it. But, I did like the kiss on the couch and how his body reacted even if his memory wasn't working. That was a hint of things to come :)

I loved the scene of Billie and Steve on the pier. In fact, I'm loving the use of the pier again as a meeting place like long ago. It brings back the history of Days, the riverfront of Salem and the mystery of all the ghosts past. Steve and Billie are so hot. I can stand them much, much, much more than Hope with icky Patrick who is as interesting as a pair of faded jeans blowing in the wind on a clothesline.

How many faces of Rachel Melvin are there? She was completely new today and her Estacy induced personality was fun to watch (knowing it was not for real) and she was flawless. Also, why is EJ protecting her? He had his evil face on watching her dance before he broke in. It was interesting how he told her that he knew she wasn't behind all the recent havoc wreaked in Salem. Will she remember that. Will he take her home with him? I've not read anything about that but he wouldn't leave her at home alone or just leave her, period like this. I'm interested.

Stephanie and Max were neat. I like them as friends and hope she quickly decides that is all it will be. I don't like Abby with Max and think he and Mimi will have some fun times for us to see, but if and until when the writers give Abby a personality, she needs to be on the sideline. She's really too young for this anyway.

Billie and STEVE make sense to me. IMO. From what I know of him. Nick and Billie make sense, as well. But Steve and Billie do, as well. Alas, when he gets his memory back, Billie will have her heart broken........again. :(
