Bones: Discussion Thread

Is anyone a fan of Kathy Reichs? I love her books and the TV series is excellent, smart, intelligent and steamy. If you watched last year, there is a new main character, Dr. Camile Saroyan, head of the Forensic Division, a new division this year. She is one smart lady. The returning cast is excellent.

The show tonight was very good. I love the technical parts, too, that show what new technology there is and how the crime lab works to solve mysteries. Tonight was an excellent look at that and how they could locate the exact place of the murder scene was amazing. The story had a very different twist to it as it started out to be an expectant husband murdering his pregnant wife and ended up being a single mother with PPD on meds accidently killing her two week old infant by shaking it, then taking her friend who was pregnant but didn't want a child to the country, murdered her, cut her baby out and put her dead baby in with her remains and then sealed them in plastic and placed that in the river. It was about two years after the murder and seeing the child's father learning that he was no longer a suspect in his wife's murder but now had a son. It was moving.

I'm thinking of renting season one of this show. I wish I had done it sooner, so I could just pick right up with the beginning of season two. I just didn't really know about it, but it sounds good. Is this show also going on a hiatus like Prison Break?

I've done a little snopping and found some interesting information.

Thanks to Fox dropping the OJ show we get a 'Bones' rerun too. Following the new episode 'Headless Witch in the Woods', the rerun will be 'Two Bodies in the Lab.'

Read the entire article but if you don't have time, it tells us there are 22 episodes in season 2 and so far only 9 have aired.

I really enjoyed tonight new episode, which was directed by David Duchovny of X-Files fame. Ryan O'Neal was just creepy enough....and I love the growing attraction between Bones and Booth.

What did you think of Zack's makeover?

I'm sure it was very good, but I missed it, sigh. Maybe it will be viewable on-line. That's something to check into.

The Season 4 premiere is this Wednesday night, September 3 at 8pm eastern time on Fox!

Not to sure how far behind we are, but in our last eppy Booth got shoot by a woman named Pam while Bones was singing "Girls just wanna have fun."
