I have one question and one answer...

Sean's in PV because they had to recast Reggie...with a white guy. Why doesn't Barbara care? Because mother's are bad and the children always run away.

My question: Erin asked Dani what kind of lover was Josh (* I think I just threw up*) and what was the answer? I am dying to know what the answer to that was...considering that Dani was drunk...was it and didn't remember what the hell happened at first? Right?

ABout libidizone--it was kinda soapy fun in a way (and better than the previous Passanante story on that boat set--the impossibledreams.com which sorta lead into it) but I just felt really outa place on AMC. Of course since by the next summer one of the main characters on the show was a ghost I guess it wasn't....

And R SInclair I completely forgot about the lock of hair thing.... Another dropped Culliton story I guess poor guy. Was it TIm Dhillon then who helped with the baby?

It was actually Erin who asked Dani about the Josh sex, and if I remember correctly, Simone and Dani was trying to shut her up so they could eavesdrop on Josh and Kendall. But I think Dani was just trying to not talk about it, saying it happened last year and a one-time thing, etc etc. But Erin kept pushing.

Even though the death of Gillian sucked bc it means she can't ever really come back - the ghost story was amazing and I LOVED it. It brought back several past characters, gave Opal a leading story for a few months, and was just totally different and visually appealing. I loved it

I never cared for Gillian as a character and only started watching AMC again not long before she left, but I also enjoyed the ghost story line with the spirits of AMC characters past as very special guest ghosts. And the stuff with Opal channeling Gillian and kissing Ryan was cute.

God, would someone PLEASE by Erin a one way ticket to Nova Scotia?

Culliton's first week had Arlene visiting Hayley and the baby. Then Mateo and Adam put Arlene on a jet, and she flew off... with an abnormally LARGE lock of the newborn baby's hair, calling him "Charlie."

Anyway, that was it for Arlene, because shortly after that, the Proteus story kicked in with Mateo and then about six months later, Kelly and Mark left AMC.

No need for Arlene now that Hayley is in California.

Also, Hayley and Mateo didn't leave until about a year after Culliton took over.

I was watching AMC at the time because Richard Culliton is my favorite soap headwriter ever (so glad to see that he is appreciated here by some posters instead of just uniformly bashed as he sometimes is). I don't remember being confused by the Proteus story. They never implied that Vanessa wasn't Proteus after the reveal -- fans just kept speculating that it was someone else for some reason. I too vaguely remember the drug money being in useless stocks, yes, but possibly also diamonds had something to do with it. (Just looked up a recap ... At the end, as Vanessa was about to leave the show, she revealed that the stocks had been a red herring and she'd really hidden her money away elsewhere -- the diamonds were to be Leo's inheritance. But Leo did throw the diamonds away as was stated. Later after Leo and Vanessa died, Trey and Kendall dove for the diamonds, but Trey turned the diamonds over to the cops.) The wrap-up of the story was far from anticlimactic because both Leo and Vanessa tumbled to their deaths.
