I won't say too much here for now: but, I think J&J fans will be happy when they see their final DAYS episodes. It's gonna be a nice farewell with a lot of DAYS characters, and a return to what Matt/Missy used to do in the late 1980s/early 1990s.

I'm so glad Beth Milstein and somewhat, Hogan, are the ones writing the farewell. I loved JER, but we all know the farewell would probably suck.

Vern returns for the farewell episode, Alice, Maggie, Bo, Hope, Steve, Kayla are all there.

I am glad Hogan and Beth handled this because under JER it wouldn't even have those characters there. It would be like a one episode goodbye and quick visits from family, etc and that would be it. I hope this is as good as it sounds.

PhoenixRising: by all indications, this may indeed be a better sendoff than I was expecting, and one Matt Ashford fans in particular will like!

I hate to be the sour grapes person, but I'm having a hard time settling for a nice send-off. I'm glad Jack and Jen will finally be happy, but after being let go three times in recent years, I would have really liked to see the return of the old Jack and Jen for more than a couple of weeks. Jack, MA, and his fans deserve better.

But yeah, I'm happy that it will be awesome, and I hope that Matt comes back soon.

Still can't belive that they're really leaving. It just sucks. I hope they give them a good send off though, and respect their history.

Well, if that is true that they get a nice send-off, I bet we have Hogan to thank for it - not Corday. Still believe in my heart of hearts that Matt's Jack will be back next year.

I also believe Jack will be back by next year once Sheffer really gets settled in.

Yes, Jo and Vern are there, along with Steve/Kayla, Alice, Maggie, Abby, Bo, Hope, even Patrick apparently.
