Arrest in JonBenet Ramsey case

I didn't think the parents did it. You can't believe everything that the media says because they just love to spin stuff.

I watched Cnn a little last night, it said DNA tests were done on John and Patsy three years ago that exonerated them as JonBenet's killers. And they showed a clip of the dad on Larry King telling him exactly what he did when he found her(taking the tape off her mouth and trying to untie her hands and then finally just holding her) and I have to say I would of done the same thing, crime scene be damned if that was my child.

IA! If I were to see my child like that, the first thought in my mind would not be focused on any crime scene. Its my child and I just found her dead.

I read that John Mark Karr claims that he drugged JonBenet and had sex with her...Wouldn't this have been found out some time ago? If she were drugged, wouldn't that information already be mentioned?

The first news story I read said that Karr strangled JonBenet when his plan to obtain a $118,000 ransom went wrong; how he's admitting to having drugged the girl, having sex with her, then accidentally killed her.

Also, it was said that the Ramsey's knew of Karr some time ago....Something is off regarding this whole thing...At least it seems that way to me.

One thing to keep in mind is that the police said Karr knew specifics about aspects of the case that were never made public knowledge. Who's to say exactly what the police told the public was 100% accurate out of necessity in an instance such as this. If the police were to tell everything there was to know, then any joe-schmo off the street could walk up, spill details, and claim to know the truth by retelling everything that's already public knowledge. The key evidence, from what I can gather, is that Karr related details that no one, other than the police and the killer (and perhaps the Ramseys, if they'd been told), could've possibly known.

there's more doubt falling on his confession.

from MSNBC.com:

The day of the murder

JonBenet Ramsey was found dead on Thursday, Dec. 26, 1996, shortly after a ransom note was found in the Ramsey home. Karr apparently told Thai police he picked JonBenet up at school and took her back to her home, despite the date falling during the holiday vacation season.

The location

JonBenet's body was found in the basement of her Boulder, Colo. home. Karr's now ex-wife told TV reporters she was with Karr in Alabama during Christmas 1996.

Details of the killing

Karr told investigators he drugged and sexually assaulted JonBenet before killing her, but an autopsy performed a day after her death revealed no drugs in her body. She had a vaginal abrasion, but the autopsy made no conclusions about whether she had been raped. No semen was found on her body.

other specifics regarding the "accidental" death of Jon Benet, and what was done to her body do not fit.

IA! Don't take what the media says to heart because most of the time, they couldn't be farther away from the truth. It happens all the time. Money can talk and it can also make you silent as well...

My friend told me there is a theory going around the guy is falsely confessing with wrong details so he can retract it and then sign a book deal?

Sounds like a lot of stress to make some dough, but whatevs.

I don't think this guy is the real killer and is just wanting to garner attention.

I never believed Patsy Ramsey killed her little girl either.
