ALL: Soap Stars - Where are they now?
Way late, but Larry Bryggman and Skinn Lifestylelift were both in D.C. doing theatre a little while ago. Larry was in Other Desert Cities at Arena Stage and Phlick was in The Guardsman at the Kennedy Center.

Gray Bunny, Heather had adenoids that she eventually had out. That's why she sounded so denasal in her early episodes.

I also saw it live and it was tense for the remainder of the show. Rosie was gone the next damn day. One thing I disagree with Rosie about is the idea that this particular blowup was orchestrated by the show. She's said that from experience working on her own show, she knew that the split screen had to have been pre-set, and that is simply not true. We were doing split screens in my 7th grade TV production class, it's a basic function on a multi-camera call board that can be done in a flash.

The Lucille Ball (and her TV series) Thread--From I Love Lucy to Life With Lucy
I'm on my phone so I can't link stuff, but speaking of Lucie Arnaz, there's a hilariously scathing review of her one-woman musical review in the Lucy article over at findadeath.com. I posted it once on another message board and somebody said I was probably Robin Strasser, ha! On YouTube, there's a video of Lucy and Elizabeth Ashley in a panel discussion chat show, I forget who's the host, and Lucy is so zero bullshit almost to the point of being rude/unsettling with Elizabeth.

The Joan Collins Fan Club
I try not to be a covetous person, but I seriously want her life. And I'm sad that I'm about 15 years behind on all of the good living she's enjoyed since she first arrived in Hollywood. Something that I've always loved about Joan post-Dynasty is that she never gave in to the notion that a certain way of living went out of style. Joan is gonna be Joan. She was Joan before Alexis. She and Dame Shirley couldn't have picked better spots to call home than the south of France and Monaco where they can live it up being the glamorous women that they are. Kate O'Mara looks amazing by the way. Often when I see her or Stephanie I think about how we would have missed out on these beautiful Britons had Dynasty not cast Joan. I remember looking at my friend's stepdad's Playboys when we were kids and seeing a topless pic of Joan and sharing how "old!" she was at 50! Ha! So did she ever get a new place in NYC or did she say that they were just going to stay in hotels from now on? I don't recall.

ALL: Soap Stars - Where are they now?
I was just going to ask if Melissa Fumero is in a new show. In today's Washington Post Express, there is a small pic of the cast of Andy Samberg's new FOX series and I swore that was her standing next to him.

It oddly looks like she's leaning over rather than lying on her back. Her face looks full when it's actually quite chiseled.

She kind of looks like Gina Lollobrigida. Or a little like Eileen Davidson.

The Wendy Williams Thread
I can see it AMS. Wendy's wig is just fuller. Marlo's got one of those old-fashioned nose jobs.

Cheap, I would love to see your hair. I bet you switch it up, always looking for something fresh.

She looks pretty in that cantaloupe color. Speaking of "cantaloupes".

Exactly. I cannot stand her. She's rude, condescending, and can't follow the natural flow of a conversation that may deviate a bit from the original point. And yes, she is the queen of damage control when it's not even called for. And notice how she just had to add in that bit about discovering Joy? Oh God, Elizabeth rapping.

Could be. I'm just saying what they said. I remember the Star Jones debacle well enough. I know how these things can go down. That said, I can't watch this show, particularly when Barbara Walters is on. She gets on my damn nerves.

They just announced that Joy is in fact leaving, however, Elizabeth is not. Just a rumor.

One Life to Live Tribute Thread
I was about to say that it's hard to imagine a brunette Viki, but then I remembered watching that 1968 episode at Paley with Gillian Spencer, whose red hair hadn't been obvious to me in the various black and white pictures of her as Viki. As a kid, for the longest time I didn't know Lucy was a redhead either.

One Life to Live Tribute Thread
Thank you for sharing her name. I knew such an actress existed because Ellen Holly writes about her in her autobiography, but she mistakenly refers to her as Trish Van Devere (who was of course Meredith). Here's Laughlin's IMDb page: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0490869/?ref_=fn_al_nm_1 Here's a picture of her from the '60s: http://i.ebayimg.com/t/SHARON-LAUGHLIN-1960s-Actress-The-Happy-Hooker-Autograph-/00/s/NDMyWDc0MQ==/$%28KGrHqVHJBME8e9qo2gLBPP%29Pjoml!~~60_3.JPG A more recent pic: There are various theatre reviews of her online. She has third billing in this film so she must have a pretty considerable part:
