  1. OMG I don't know what I was expecting but something with some sort of melody would be nice: Maybe it'll grow on me. It seems like that kind of song. But still....
  2. LMAO! I can't. She'll undoubtedly want to come back to DAYS, eventually (if it hasn't been cancelled first). OMG! Brilliant. Now I will never be able to watch the show the same way again--and I'm only about to start season 2. That's a lot of seasons left.
  3. You are evil :( I'm gonna miss the show. It's been a good ride and I have largely enjoyed seasons 3 and 4. I'm glad they're ending it, though.
  4. The Sansa twist was stunning. I knew that things had gone too well for her for too long. I just never imagined she would be brought into Ramsay's orbit. He was being so nice and courteous, it only makes me even more worried. And the shot of what I presume are more of Ramsay's women/wives. Interesting. I loved that moment were Theon first sees Sansa. Julia, I agree, Theon did seem to be 'snapping' out of it in some parts. GREAT acting, right there. And the woman telling Sansa that the North Remembers. With that and Brienne looming around, Sansa may just have a little help this time around. I really liked Brienne opening up to Pod about her past and offering to teach him how to fight. Again, the establishing CGI shots of various locations are stunning. Beautiful work (although not necessarily 100% believable CGI). The 'job scene' with Jon Snow and Slynt was an absolute highlight. I wanted Jon to go through with showing his command so much and it really brought to mind the very beginning of the show with Jon's father teaching him just that. Goodbye, Slynt! Also, Davos and Jon having a 1-on-1. You can't get more awesome than that. I don't know if I even have words for what Cersei has that man doing with that body. Frankenstein? Oooooooh, this is going to be an epic disaster and I'm sure she will regret it. I thought the Tommen/Margaery scene was wonderfully handled, even if I was uncomfortable watching it. Mostly left to the imagination. Margaery/Cersei bitchiness is always fun. The shot of Cersei walking off with Margaery and her maidens laughing was so soap opera. Arya getting rid of her things but holding on to Needle nearly made me cry. I knew she wouldn't be able to do it. She just can't. LOL at her calling that girl a c unt LMAO! I was happy seeing Jaqen back but his way of speaking is annoying me a bit. I guess Tyrion found his ticket to Dany! Nice seeing Jorah again. I like the Tyrion/Varys bickering.
  5. You need Jesus!
  6. +1 That was some epic stuff. Classic NYC. Unfortunately, they tried to recreate it with Season 4 and ended up a toxic mess.
  7. An interview with a Man: http://www.ew.com/article/2015/04/19/game-thrones-character-Jaqen-Hghar-returns Some mildly spoilery 'speculation' is included on his part.
  8. I just love that you still do things like, putting a library book on hold or writing a letter to an artist! I mean, a letter! Adorbs. Carry on.
  9. Very good episode. Excited to finally see Dorne. Very interested to see what they will do with Jamie going there. When he said he wasn't going alone, I hoped he meant Bronn. It was very nice seeing him again. I bet he's excited to be getting away from that nitwit fiance/wife of his. Sam's speech in support of Jon was wonderful. The kind of thing you definitely couldn't see Sam doing even a season or two ago. He's grown so much and become so much more courageous. I am excited for Jon as Lord Commander. KH's reaction to winning was very well played. Thrilled to see Arya reach her destination, and definitely thrilled to see Jaqen again. I was wondering if that would happen. I haven't gotten that far into book 4 yet, so I wonder what all this will entail. For those complaining about Brienne, well, there you have it! I thought for sure she'd never see Sansa for another 25 seasons, so it was a big surprise to have her talk to her (not so much a surprise that Sansa turned her down). For a second there I thought Podrick was a goner. I'm glad we finally see the plan. Now that things are aligning, we get a sense of where everything is going. That's why I can't find the energy to complain because, in most cases, they are moving around the pieces in a big board, even if we don't see it, even if it takes a lot of time. Always fun watching the small council drama of King's Landing. It's like those Jabot board meetings of yesteryear on Y&R (with more decapitations, of course). LH did some greatly fun and subtle work during a lot of it. I laughed and laughed at "will she kill every dwarf?" and then plop! the dwarf's head on the table. I know I shouldn't have, but I did. The Dany stuff was, once again, fascinating. I'm here for the journey and, while each season's resonance has varied for me, I am still very much loving it. The moment she had to decide whether to execute the man or not was an absolutely breathtaking part and I thought it was expertly directed, especially that shot of the hands remaining up for a second following the decapitation. And Drogon's back! I don't know what it is about those dragons, but what's happened between Dany and them is heartbreaking.
  10. I just love this little Tweet: Stephen King ‏@StephenKing 44m44 minutes ago Cruz, Paul and Rubio, all running for President. Hey, I thought I was supposed to write the horror stories.
  11. No wonder he's become so unbelievably thin. I don't think he looks bad at all, I just was trying to figure out where the 'amazing' part came in. Well, I really don't need luck because I did think it was a pretty bad story, as well (which I, inexplicably, still have some affection for, for some reason). I'm just saying, I found it funny that you find nice things to say about some other stuff but the Evelyn story is where you drew the line! Where they really drunk? That sort of makes me like it more! (and could explain some things).
  12. Still not sure what this is about, or just why he was so unpopular. Oh, come on! You have nice things to say about some of the absolutely worst dreck of season 2 but the Evelyn story is 'dreadful'? LMAO! I'm gonna need to see some receipts on that because Googling hasn't revealed any such thing.
  13. You are more brutal with your killings, Carl, than the show is itself!
  14. LOL At a couple of them not even looking at the camera. Adorable picture.
  15. AMC 1994: I'm surprised by how much I like Adam & Gloria. He keeps treating her pretty close to horribly because he mistrusts her following her affair with Alec but there's just something about her that screams vulnerability and strength at the same time. She's mesmerizing.
  16. Wow! Didn't realize Joan Van Ark was on DAYS! Cool. What was her character? How long was she around, was she well-liked? And I presume those episode numbers are the ones they were shooting that day and that they did not air until a later date? Thanks, Jason!
  17. Yes, it was definitely its own take on the genre. Often cheesy but still a lot of entertaining fun. ROSWELL is one I haven't seen either. I know it will happen, especially considering the cast.
  18. I feel so much tenderness and nostalgia for all that WB stuff.... Some of it was crap (but I loved it), some of it is great (and I love it) and some of it I haven't seen (but I still love it!).
  19. Yeah, I don't think she looks any heavier than she did on B&B.
