  1. No, I remember it too. I don't recall who said it, but they're using Ron's outlines though I assume they're changing some things up and writing out some characters they're not interested in. I assume the "Who shot EJ" storyline is the main one they're keeping to Ron's outline since everything for it was planted while he was still there.
  2. I wouldn't mind it if they took the long-term approach with that to be honest. They've already shown us that she has dysfunctional coping mechanisms, but I don't think they need to go further than that right now (do we really want to see Dani in rehab at this point?). Too many soaps do the whole "character goes on a bender and then they're in AA". I'd rather let it stew for a bit. I agree that this doesn't make sense for her to fake a pregnancy at this point. It seems rather... pointless? We haven't seen her and Bill attempt to get pregnant or know of any medical issue for her preventing having children... also, what is she even planning to do? Fake a pregnancy for nine months (increasingly risking everything) and stealing a baby? I guess it's time like this when JERs endless character monologues would be useful for Hayley, because I don't get it and I suspect the explanation won't be great either. I kind of like this idea because at least it would make some sort of sense, though she still needs that baby to make it work. Again, she and Bill haven't really tried, nor have we had any discussions where he absolutely does not want to be a father again.
  3. There's a $7.99 tier that includes DAYS, NBC and Bravo. If anything they're using Love Island as a bait to get people to pay more for Peacock.
  4. I guess having a squatter in your home is sort of annoying, but the Salem real estate market is horrible. I still say they should have the next mayoral election be about the housing crisis in Salem. It's gross. It's weird how we have a lot of other gay couples in the DAYS universe (Will and Sonny, Paul and Andrew, Dmitri and unknown dude, potentially Craig with an unknown partner) and they get stuck on Leo. I can only assume Greg Rikaart has agreed to work for the money in the change jar.
  5. Well, the HD remaster seems to at least include all the episodes on streaming as a few markets (Sweden, Greece) seems to have gotten it. The bad news is of course that there's no OG music, but a small step in the right direction nevertheless... I assume the reason why it seems like a slow rollout in markets is because they're trying to license it out to outside streamers before putting it up on Paramount+ so they can profit as much as possible from it.
  6. I think there's a lot to play with Martin being the oldest male grandson and being favoured by Anita and Vernon. It could certainly lead to interesting interactions with Nicole (overachiever who felt she had something to prove) and Dani (underachiever who never felt good enough). Not sure if they'll go full on with that resentment though, especially considering Nicole is Martin's mother (even though they've barely had any scenes together). But it would certainly be something different.
  7. There's a cheaper $7.99 subscription that includes DAYS, NBC and Bravo.
  8. He's set to create a late night soap opera replacing Colbert. Kidding...
  9. I feel like Ron would often write out / skip character's pregnancies tbh on screen. Sarah, Kristen, Joy... who else? It wouldn't surprise me if he intended to bring her back down the road.
  10. That just gives me a headache trying to figure out who (if anyone) was on set since there are so many badly photoshopped in.
  11. I think refreshing things are usually fine when you consistently tour and allows things not to go stale for both the artists and the audience... but I agree. If you're having a one-off reunion concert after 30? 40? years it's pure nostalgia bait.
  12. They originally wanted Barbara Stanwyck, so I guess the wig was a choice to make Angela look more like her. Wisely, they ditched it (or Jane Wyman made them do so lol). Interesting that the Vintage Years pilot got an early trailer preview. I guess they must've decided to scrap it entirely when the show was moved to a mid-season premiere.
  13. See, I keep saying this. Any change could be for the worse.
  14. Besides X-Files, I've always loved his Pasadena theme:
  15. I think in general, this week is just likely lower in the ratings. I noticed that with DAYS it's gone from being consistently in the top 5 for the past few weeks to being in the lower top ten on Peacock. I assume lower viewings levels worried them, but it's likely unnecessary. Daytime is a marathon, not a sprint.
  16. I think it's been said they were using Ron's outlines until the fall, which seems silly to me. But who knows? Maybe they had already booked certain people and didn't want to change it. Or they just wanted to let his stories wrap naturally and focus on what's next. Either way, I'd hope they'd change some of the typical Ron missteps at least, even if they ended up following his general outline (which I can get in regards of things like "Who Shot EJ?" since clues would've been planted before they took over).
  17. Well, at least Beyond the Gates bounced back in viewers.
  18. Same thing when there's been references to Sami and Belle's past. DAYS arguably has the worst cases of SORAS, especially since some of those characters share pivotal history when one of them were infants.
  19. Leo and Javi getting Sophia's kid make me vomit (not because of the gay adoption angle, to be clear, but because Leo needs to fall into an elevator shaft), but there's things in there that looks good. I doubt they'll bring back Stefano, so it'll be interesting to see where that story goes.
  20. It might have to do with how they measure their charts. Peacock and Hulu seems to do a 24 hour rolling chart, which means that new episodes of DAYS and GH can sneak into them. Paramount+ might do a 7-day rolling chart, which means that single episodes of Y&R, B&B and BTG are unable to make it into them. ETA: Flixpatrol seems to have a "top ten overall" that they track via Amazon channels - BTG was #2, Y&R #6 and B&B #8 on that chart on Friday: https://flixpatrol.com/top10/paramount-plus/united-states/2025-06-27/ Individual pages: https://flixpatrol.com/title/beyond-the-gates/ https://flixpatrol.com/title/the-young-and-the-restless/ https://flixpatrol.com/title/the-bold-and-the-beautiful/
  21. I agree this would be a better idea than just repeats. I'd also say they should've done a push to get viewers to catch up via streaming.
  22. I need to go and find less.
  23. There probably isn't-
  24. Andrew sure has hard nips.
