Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
@DaytimeFan, I think Potomac has already gone down that dark rabbit hole. It is painfully obvious that NONE of these women are real friends. They are simply co-workers at best, IMO. This show needs to recapture the magic it had from seasons 2-4. But I feel that for all these shows with the exception of Miami. These shows need to resort back to being light and fluffy. With all that is going on in the world, dark reality TV, which used to captivate me pre-COVID & pre-MAGA does not captivate me anymore. The world itself is so dark, I want shows that are light and fluffy.

@Cheap21, I trust you, so you pointing out all things wrong with SLC just further cements that I made the best choice. @j swift, Heather is a disloyal twat. That the ONE thing I wish Jen would've picked up on last year, but b/c she did so much damage season 1, it was hard for Jen to rally numbers against Heather's mattress back a**. This is the ONE reason why I'd want SLC to get one more season to hear that Heather is finally taken to task. We just need Meredith to drop her. I never bought into the Heather hype. I do believe Lisa in that aspect that Heather is a phony. And I don't believe that Coach Shah knew of Jen's dealings. That man is a coach for college football. That is a goldmine for coaches. Because of that, it makes what Jen did stupider. She could've easily been a rich, stay-at-home housewife. I literally don't think that man knew anything, and Heather implying he did was absurd.

RHOM: All I know is that I hope Lisa and Lenny's mistress both suck his Lego-head ass dry. He is just a heinous creature. And then for him to email her and ask her to order him some food after he cursed at her... couldn't be me. Lisa should've ordered the total opposite of sh*t and sent it to him. And why is Larsa coming for Nicole? It doesn't make sense. The same reason she hates Adriana coming for her, is the same reason Nicole feels the same way about her.

Romantic chemistry that survived recasts
Vicky and Ryan. I know most might agree but I think Paul Michael Valley had stellar and strong chemistry with both Anne and Jensen. Yes, nothing will compare to his chemistry with Anne (as that was out of this world), but he did have solid chemistry with Jensen's Vicky.

@Faulkner, if I were Bravo, I'd nuke RHONY legacy and take the "one" (probably Sonja, Jill, or Dorinda) and promise them a spot on nuRHONY after this season. The rest would be written off for the foreseeable future like Ramona. Ain't nobody got time to be peddling money to a bunch of ungrateful people that feel they're worth more than they aren't. RHONY lost its luster after season 10. Regarding RHOBH, I am glad Crystal is staying. I am pretty sure one of these "fourteen" friends was brought on with coaxing from Kyle, who probably threw a fit. Sadly for her, I expect this to backfire on her as Garcelle and Sutton, who like Crystal, are going to get to the bottom of the scheme like they always do. Then, Kyle will truly get taken down like should've been a LONG time ago. I'm praying (too) that Garcelle is coaxing LVP to rejoin behind the scenes. I just want a season where Kyle, Erika, and Dorit are truly held to the fire. @Cheap21, people still watch SLC? I quit watching that drivel after episode 1. No Mary, no Jen, they can throw that whole show in the trash. The other 4 NEVER had that star quality like Mary and Jen. Bravo better literally cast 3-4 Nene/Kenya/Gizelle/Tamra-like personalities next season to save this show. Otherwise, do away with it like Dallas.

Ugh! Andy was determined to get Phelony Parks back on Bravo TV. And her and Quad together... just shoot me in the face now. They are going to be an unbearable duo.

This is why Miami has emerged as my favorite. They give the right amount of drama where it doesn't veer dark. I am ready to Larsa v. Nicole (part 2), Nicole v. Marysol/Alexia (part 2), and Adriana v. Marysol/Alexia.

I couldn't stand Katie either. The main being reason as aforementioned--Katie could do dumb sh*t, but get away with it with a scolding from Margo and all was forgiven. It used to make my stomach churn how Kim, Nancy, and Margo used to sing her praises. And she became totally unbearable when she became a widow. Plus, I will never get over how her a** lied on Chris and pinpointed him as her stalker. That's why I wasn't here for her and Chris (well Bill Lewis) ending up together.

The soap opera writers' discussion
Do you all think that Slesar's niche for murder, mystery, and mayhem could've possibly worked on Capitol? I'd imagine it would've given how corrupt Capitol Hill is.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
That's what I don't get. There are HUNDREDS of ex-housewives they can be getting to fill these roles. Why not bring the Dallas or DC girls out the mothballs? I honestly feel with Phaedra and Brandi, Andy feels that constantly keeping them working on other Peacock shows will keep them in the Bravo realm as there is NO way they can return to their respective shows as they've burned those bridges. I expect Rinna to join in rotation (too) with the Ultimate Girl's Trips. Andy is not going to let that heinous beast fall to the wayside.

Yes, her tone towards him didn't sit well with me. But all the stuff that Guerdy needs to fix is fixable--she needs to scale back on working. I just would hate for her to lose a good man over being a workaholic. She is at the top of her game where she can either groom someone on her staff take her place at times or pick and choose jobs. The wedding industry is never going to die down, and I doubt Guerdy's business will take a hit as she has the stamp of approval from major fashion magazines. POTOMAC: The editing on this show has been sh*t this season. What I have feared is coming to fruition. Production has fallen into the hype and has become lazy with editing this show. Meanwhile, the show is lacking cohesion and key scenes, thus leading to all the stories on the show being a mess. And each episode ending in "to be continued" is wearing thin. A show should do that maybe once or twice a season, but Potomac has done it about thirty times this season and the follow up episode typically falls flat after 5 minutes of conflict at the start of the episode.

@P.J., not Julie being the stupidest sl-t of all time! 😂 But it just never made sense to me why Lisa never forgave Carly. Meanwhile, she forgave Barbara, who stayed going off the spool during the Sheffer era. It just never made any sense. Hell, didn't Lisa forgive and take Marcy under her wing after she made an accusation against Bob? I just feel like characterizations of the vets were thrown out the window and their moods were situated to whatever the plot was at the end. And many of the vets didn't have a difference of opinions either. For the most part, Lisa, Kim, Nancy, Emma, Margo, Barbara, and Lucinda were kind of in lockstep toward the antiheroes/heroines during that time... unless they were Katie. 😒

That unnerved me too. Lisa's hatred of Carly was just stupid. It would've made the most since for Lisa to be a kindred spirit to Carly as they were so much alike. Again, Lisa should've been one of the people in Carly's corner trying to steer her right as she had done stupid stuff in the past.

@Cat, I hope Guerdy pulls back on working so much. While you can tell that Russell loves her, you can sense that bit of sadness from neglect. She better start putting some focus on her man or she might end up in the same boat as Lisa. Folks are watching this show, and some people are shameless when it comes to them wanting fame and attention. It takes nothing for a young IG THOT to land in Russell's DMs and go from there. And Russell is VERY sexy. Guerdy, tend to your man!

I think Molly became ambitious once they tossed her in the realm of WOAK. One of my favorite stories from the Sheffer years was the Endicott Awards. But I can agree for the most part, Molly's reign in the beginning was her chasing after d-ck. I hated that they destroyed Carly/Lisa's relationship too. I always felt that Lisa would've served as the perfect surrogate mother for Carly--the one person that would've been in Carly's ear, calling her out on her stupidness, yet having love for her as she understood her. Also, I wanted Lisa, Carly, and Barbara to open up a fashion house. The comedic potential and drama that would've provided would've been EPIC. It would've given the women so much, and finally would've allowed Carly to build female friendships--an area she lacked in.

It is sad that Carlos spends most of his time promoting Housewives than he does his own shows. I just cannot stomach him ever since Kandi revealed how foul he did her.

But that's the weird thing for me--Carly or Molly didn't come on the show initially trying to latch themselves to rich men. They were zero focused on lower to middle class men (Mike or Holden). That's why it became a wee bit jarring (but made a little sense) when Carly sought out Craig. I got why but it went against what Carly liked early on. With Emily, they had her all over the place when KMH played her. If she was chasing a man for status, I found it odd as Emily had became a successful businesswoman at that point. It's like they tossed out all her growth when MS played her. And I don't remember a nice, wealthy man being on ATWT after '95 either. But I feel like that was done b/c the show was trying to push the Snyders as the end all, be all. From what I've seen of HR as Lily, she felt like she was actually Lucinda's daughter. She wasn't as shrill and neurotic as MB's Lily. While she could be emotional, I found her to be cold (much like Lucinda) at times and business driven. From finally getting to watch episodes from early 90s ATWT, I get why a certain set of fans were peeved when HR left the role. HR's Lily didn't make me roll my eyes unlike MB's Lily, who though I loved her, would make my eyeballs roll at a constant.

The Politics Thread
This has to be the most pathetic thing I have EVER seen. Fifteen tries to win something that you obviously weren't meant to win. What a clown. And Boebert and Gaetz are going to further make him look like a clown as their little caucus holds all the true power. He'll get the nice office and painting and that'll be it. Congrats to Hakeem Jeffries--the true Speaker of the House in my eyes.

@Cat, Kyle hasn't been that silent. She's been liking tweets where fans have been scolding LVP for tweeting about Rinna being let go. This is yet another reason why I want LVP back--just to see how Kyle is going to unwind now that she doesn't have her mouthpiece (Rinna) there much longer. And I feel that without Rinna being there, Dorit is going to no longer be scared to be part of that alliance; she'll eagerly be happy to dump Kyle and interact with the other women like she's wanted to.

I think her stench has also rubbed off on poor Harry too. I do think her career is up in smoke due to being on this show, and I think her coming for Kathy, who is very well-connected, only made it worse. Lisa will be lucky if she's even able to book Depends commercials again at this point.

Good. I am so glad Rinna is out. Now bring Vanderpump back. I think with Rinna being out, it'll be a HUGE selling point to get her to return. RHOM: Miami delivers yet again. Guerdy v. Alexia was hilarious. Two drama queens trying to outdo one another. I think the crux of it all is that Guerdy and Alexia are remarkably similar. I don't think their issues are that deep even though I expect them to clash 1 or 2 more times this season. Kiki v. Julia/Adriana came out of left field for me. I didn't like that Julia disinvited Kiki from the party but still allowed Larsa to show up. That was simply weird to me. I figured Martina would not care about Julia kissing someone else. I've always gotten vibes that Martina is VERY secure about her marriage with Julia and knows how to reign Julia in if necessary. Larsa kind of took egg on her face for that one. I am ready for Larsa v. Nicole 2.0 next week along with the further demise of Lenny. By the time this show airs, Lisa is going to have much dirt on Lenny that she'll be able to wipe his fortune clean.

^ This. Carly (early on) struck me as someone who would've wanted a man with some status and money behind his name. I got her initially wanting Mike to do one on Rosanna, but after Carly bedded him, she should've easily moved onto her next conquest while dangling the affair over Mike's head until he spilled the beans himself. Carly and Molly, who came from poor backgrounds really strayed from the soap vixen role, which was typically to marry up. Instead, it seemed like they settled for the lower or middle class men just to p*ss off their heiress rivals.

No. There were no cameras at the club. Lisa and Larsa retell the story on the show.
