  1. I agree. I feel like the show was starting to head into that strong friendship era, which separated AW from all the other soaps going forward.
  2. Oh wow! What a classic. It feels good to watch a show from start to finish and not wanting to FF through certain parts. How much longer was left in the story arc before Alma got her comeuppance? And what was bothering Cass? Looks like he might've seen that dead body in the hotel. Donna is such a busybody and it is funny. Weird seeing Donna disapprove of Sally and wanting to hook Cecile up with him. From reading their history, Donna would go on to loathe Cecile and become rivals with Sally over Catlin in a year or two. Julia seemed like such an endearing character. Sucks that she was one of the many Matthews killed throughout the 80s. I enjoyed her scenes opposite Felicia. They seemed to mesh well together. I also enjoyed watching her bond with Sally too. So weird seeing Tom Wiggin in a role that isn't Kirk on ATWT. He aged well as he still looked the same throughout his run on ATWT.
  3. But it was deeper than that, buddy! It was deeper! That moment they had in the breakroom of the store when they were locked up was beautiful. And how Denise helped him when he was going through his breakdown was beautiful. They were EVERYTHING to me.
  4. I thought Tiana had potential too and she did have stellar chemistry with Scott Maslen. IMO, she was his BEST pairing. And you putting into perspective of what Diane's role is on EE is the primary reason I don't watch anymore. I just can't watch this woman be tossed aside like trash, and I felt that happened once DTC got his precious Jane back. I know many people didn't care for Ian/Denise, but I did. I thought she had great potential to become the next Beale matriarch. She has more of backbone to put Ian and his kids in place than Jane does. Diane [and Nitrin too] get no love. She should weep. She been there for almost ten years and she still is treated like sh-t.
  5. I thought she was fine. It wasn't like they gave her a real chance to show her acting chops. Most of the material was going to Stacy at that time. And it kills me how the Foxes get tossed aside when Diane Parish is a diamond. They should be lucky to have her.
  6. Yeah, Matt Di Angelo is not the best actor but I did enjoy the Dean character when he was opposite Chelsea. I feel like that's who needs to be brought back. She was the one character that was able to go toe to toe with Dean and I found them hot. I would've believed her bearing his child over Shabnam.
  7. Was it the pilot called Made in the USA? Or was that Mal Young's soap?
  8. That's awesome. I wish he'd do an original soap under his production company and sell it. I miss his presence at EE.
  9. Tony Jordan has his own production company now, doesn't he?
  10. *gasps* I wish I lived your life! You seem to always have the industry intel! He's one of the many writers I wish I could work with in my lifetime. Or at least pick his brain.
  11. He played Julia's theme or the traditional EE theme?
  12. TimWil, You personally know Tony Jordan?
  13. Thanks! But that doesn't seem like an accident to me. Typical Tracy. I hope this lands her ass back in prison.
  14. How so? B/c everything Tracy does is on purpose.
  15. Did Tracy's dumb ass start the fire?
  16. I thought David Witts was fine his material was just sh-tty.
  17. It is but I think much like people got behind Jammy for the same reason [chemistry], that's why people choose to ignore it with Charity/Cain. *vomits* I am actually one of the few that felt Joey could've had all the potential in the world had the not went this route.
  18. Thank God. I just can't handle incest on soaps. Never cared for Jammy. Don't care for Charity/Cain. It's just gross on all aspects.
  19. I've always been grossed out by the inbreeding within the Dingle family. That's part of the reason why I can't get behind them with the exception of Lisa and Sam [at times]. They're like the Duggars somewhat. Ick!
  20. I'm beginning to notice a trend with P&G going back and looking at various situations. It was always them that wanted to end these shows. Not the networks. Just pisses me off that they didn't wanna sell them.
  21. I forgot that you have a soft spot for Jake Wood. But I don't know why he doesn't try his hand here in the US. I think he'd excel. If he does plan on returning to EE, he needed to take this year off. The Brannings were becoming draining about two years ago and a break is much needed at this point.
  22. I'm going to sound horrible but Anita hasn't age well. Maybe it's the hair color though. It's good to see her though. I always felt that the show should've never killed off Angie or Den. Or a lot of their originals to be honest....
