  1. I would love a character like Sunny on soaps nowadays. A young female journalist that is passionate about social issues. At least it'd bring the show back to social issues. I am actually interested to see more of Ted trying to gentrify this so called Julia Street. I want to see how Janet, who was clearly shocked, will react to him going behind her back and doing so. I wanna see where Gary is going to fall into this whole situation seeing as he was married to Carolyn, who according to Buck has an office on Julia Street, and Lanie, Gary's mistress. I'm sure he had to choose a side, thus hurting one of his women. And I agree with what you said about Sherry/Liza. In most of Liza's perils, I'd be annoyed if it was acted out by the likes of Amelie Heinle nowadays; however, Sherry has so much passion and spirit (as you stated) that I don't grow tired of Liza. I actually care for her. Just doing all this reading and seeing a lot of Liza's whole arc saddens me. I hate how she always gets the short end of the stick. From her losing Steve and Travis to her going on to having failed relationships with Lloyd, Kentucky, and Hogan, I just feel bad for her. I want Liza to win.
  2. Thanks for the new clip, Carl! I love the fire that the Adamson women have. From reading up on them lately, I wish we had strong, ambitious women that Laine and Sunny nowadays. And I noticed you posted a new clip of Liza. I love Sherry Mathis so much. She plays a tragic heroine so well.
  3. RHOC: Just boring and nagging. Shannon annoyed the f-ck out of me. Her constant whining about Vicki and Tamra reuniting was too much. Like we all knew it was going to happen. It always happens. I am proud that Lizzie took the high road with Tamra and paid her in kindness. Tamra didn't know how to take it along with Shannon paying her in dust. She expected Lizzie to ignore her and Shannon to be nice to her but she got a wrench tossed in her plans. I still don't care for Mehgan and I don't care for this new chick, Katie. IMO, the OC should've been cast better. I still say that they should've done an all-star like season for the 10th season of the OC--one, which they should be promoting heavily and they surprisingly not. I would've had Vicki, Tamrat, Heather, Gretchen, Alexis, Jeana, Shannon, & Laurie as the cast. Lizzie would be recurring (as she chose a lesser role this season). Yeah, it would've been toxic but it would've been so juicy for a 10th season.
  4. Yes. It was way ahead of its time and was the perfect blend of Law & Order, The Good Wife, and CSI. If P&G had any brains, they would've tried to revive this show at the height of CSI.
  5. Carl, thanks for those SFT clips. So odd that you posted them when I've been reading weekly synopsis of SFT on Tumblr as of late. My perception on certain characters have changed. John Wyatt for one. From what little I was able to find on Jennifer/Eunice/John at first, I felt bad for John but reading the synopsis, he was a d-ck. Even though he had no part in Jennifer's crime, a part of me wishes that we went to jail. From the few episodes from 1980 I've seen, I liked David, but reading up on him, he seems like a prick. I guess his tryst with Cathy and eventually pairing him with Renata softened him. Jo frustrated me a lot too. Yes, she was meant to be a salt-of-the-earth character, but did she always have to sacrifice her own happiness for others? I wish she would've been selfish at times when it came to her love life. She always seemed to roll over and take the high road. Admirable, yes. But infuriating too. And Peter Simon must've always played drip, whiny characters because Scott seemed like a whiny character too. Just like they later made Ed.
  6. I like Terry Davis too but April is grating at times. She reminds of Fluff (aka Katie) on ATWT. Constantly nagging and always self-righteous. I wanna care for her. I'm supposed to care for her but I don't at time. Of what little I've seen of Margo too, I wish they would've kept her around. Poor Ann Williams. She never caught a break. Whether it was Eunice or Margo, her characters were always killed too soon. I know that it had to be a joy for Stephanie Braxton to go from playing saccharine Tara on AMC to crazy Winter on EON. I always enjoy watching the studio chase between Nicole and Winter. I also found it saddening to watch Winter die w/o hearing Logan say he loves her. IMO, it wouldn't've killed him to utter those words even though he might not've meant them. Wasn't Winter's whole dissent into the madness over her trying to cover up her past in porn for Logan's sake? Nowadays, she would've probably rejoiced over her porn past and tried to make a living out of it [a la Kim Kardashian]. I just find EON endearing and I've been binge watching it a lot lately. I feel like the show would really be hot nowadays now that procedurals and mysteries are ratings catchers. Had P&G and ABC stuck by the show a few more years, it would've so paid off. SN: I found this custom intro that a fan made based on it the show was still on air. I thought it was phenomenal and wanted to share it.
  7. Thanks! Question is just me or does anyone else find April annoying at times? Whether it is when she's whining to Draper or squawking at Raven, she just annoys me for some reason.
  8. Thanks! I am going to watch them in a few.
  9. Till the end of time (as Beyonce would say)....
  10. Oh that's your channel?! Makes sense with all the Emmerdale episodes you've been posting and I've been watching (which I am still reeling from this Chris/Kelly pregnancy arc). Thanks! I'll go and look up Draper's arrest/the train crash. I've seen it before way back when on WOST (oh how I miss that site) but I wanted to see it again.
  11. No!!! Not Lola. I hate how DTC never even tried to do anything with her. They should've had her come between Jay and Abi seeing as she had heat with Jay that has never really been capitalized on. First Lucy. Then Peter. Followed by Liam. Now Lola. I'm banking that Jay/Jamie Borthwick will be next to announce his exit. Sadly, we get stuck with all the dud younger characters [i.e. Whitney, Cindy, Lee, Nancy] while the good ones leave back to back.
  12. A kind soul posted a portion of the Winter Austen trial and Draper being hauled to jail almost a year later. So crazy how he went from defending Winter a year earlier to being accused of murdering Margo [and being found guilty]. *sighs* This makes me wish someone would buy up the entire P&G library and post them all online. I hate how all these videos are sitting in some storage area just collecting dust.
  13. That's cute but painful too. I've never seen so many white people lacking rhythm in a video. But I keep saying this time and time again, Emmerdale has the HOTTEST male cast.
  14. Funny thing is that Bethenny in her recent blog practically called Carole a liar in so many words. Bethenny claims that she never called Kristen 'dumb' and that she supports Kristen and all women in their journey to becoming successful. Knowing Bethenny, if she wanted to call Kristen dumb she would've said it to her face. I don't believe this lie that Carole has put out and I hope it is brought up at the reunion, so Carole is forced to come clean. I think that Carole said that sh-t herself. Carole gives me vibes of being two-faced. She's playing both sides of the fence so whatever side emerges victorious (with the audience), she can align with them.
  15. Yes they are. The only ratings they might get now is from their 90s are All That programming block, which they need to diversify if they want that audience to stay. I can only watch All That, Kenan and Kel, Rugrats, Rocket Power, Hey Arnold, and CatDog so much. Where are all the other great 90s Nick shows that I remember watching? Aaah Real Monsters? Alex Mack? My Brother and Me? Ren and Stimpy?
  16. #TeamBethenny Her presence alone mind f-cks all these tricks. Getting to the juicy parts, I loved how Bethenny paid Kristen in dust. Bitch, you're irrelevant, learn your position. Even production thinks you're irrelevant. #NeverAddressTheHelp And I've said this before and I'll say it again ... Carole is a snake ass bitch. Out of all things to do, she started the fire between Kristen & Bethenny and then ran. Her ass is going to pay for it come reunion time b/c Luann is already going to drag her. Bethenny is unpredictable, so there is high chance she'll drag her too. And these lesbian dream crap she brings up next week is a way for her to cover her ass for the f-ck up she caused this week. Girl, bye. Heather ... meh. And her saying that she'll tread lightly when it comes to Bethenny is a lie. She'll go right back to trying to kiss her ass and force herself onto Bethenny once again next week. I did enjoy the camaraderie between Bethenny and Ramona. I'm glad that they see a lot of the same sh-t with these women. I also cannot wait for Ramona to dig into Kristen's ass next week. I just hope that Ramona doesn't hit her ass in the face with a glass again.
  17. Well her jagged mouth, thick jawed ass needs to get over it. RHONY has always been Bethenny's playground. She's just a pion on it.
  18. Sneak peek of Bethenny v. Kristen: http://www.bravotv.com/the-real-housewives-of-new-york-city/season-7/episode-710/videos?clip=2872001 Too cute! Kristen's dumb, irrelevant ass is looking for a battle in hopes of seeming relevant. And I don't see how she was offended if she was called dumb when she has been alluding she isn't 'the sharpest tool in the shed' since last season. Bethenny paid her ass in dust and I loved it. Never give a thirsty, hungry b-tch your precious time. Bring back Aviva and her one damn leg!
  19. Congrats to them! Glad to see that Degrassi will carry on for the foreseeable future.
  20. RHOC: Tonight was boring for me. Nothing popped. I'm hoping this season has a great climax much like last season. Meghan is boring. I don't find her endearing and I don't care for anyone that has Tamra-like traits. One Trailer Park Judge is enough. Oh and her neck disturbs me. Shannon sobbing about her marriage and being at some marital bootcamp was awkward. I don't feel bad for Shannon because I feel like she does things to gain the audience's sympathy. It worked last season, it is not going to work this season. I feel bad for David. Shannon is nutso. Love her for what she brings to the show but she is nuts. Pleather.... Gaudy as ever. She reminds me of Toya (of M2M) as she's materialistic ... just nouveau riche to the max. Her showing off the house and gloating was too much. Glad when people can spend money on their dreams but I don't find it endearing to watch someone gloat over success, which they've not contributed too. But whatever. Heather has never been my cup of tea. Never have. Never will be. Vicki was OK. I was glad that she was honest about not wanting to be alone in the later years of her life, but I do worry how she'd handle the situation if something did happen to Brooks. Also, I noticed the chemistry between Shannon and Vicki was off in the scene they shared. It wasn't like last season's. I'm just getting this inkling feeling that it is going to be everyone vs. Vicki this season. Her tagline somewhat supports my suspicions too. SN: The taglines this season are garbage. Pure garbage. Vicki is the only one that had a decent tagline. IDK who decides taglines but they need to be fired. Only show that had stellar taglines was RHOBH. RHOA, RHONY, RHOC, RHONJ have all had sh-tty taglines in their previous/recent seasons. Trampra ... a bore. No one cares about you getting your saggy tits uplifted. We all know that it was for story. Along with her pressuring, which I am sure she did, Ryan and his new family to move back to the OC. I don't believe her when she said she's going to be more polite this season. She won't. Once she gets a hint that someone in the group is the initial target, she'll lead the pack. She's done it every season since she's been on the show. Her spots won't change now. I just wish they'd get rid of her. Her antics and stories are so calculated to the point I muted and turned the channel during Trampra's scenes.
  21. That was an interesting interview, Carl! Thanks for sharing. I seriously hope some old school EON episodes pop up. I wanna see some of the Johnny Dallas/Laurie arc.
  22. Thanks for clearing that up! I am just enjoying how all these EON episodes are coming out of the woodwork. Gives me something to binge watching during daytime TV as of late b/c the current soaps [with the exception of DAYS & B&B at times] don't interest me.
  23. OK. I look into that. So were Bill [and his wife Martha] were pushed aside so they could bring on younger police characters [i.e. Calvin, Derek, Deborah, Steve....]? If so, that sucks. IMO, he could've definitely been a wise sage that advised them. From clips I've seen of Derek, despite me liking him, I don't like him as police captain/commissioner. He always comes off as a prick. I guess b/c a lot of his venom was spewed at Raven, who is my fave. Did the actress that played Tiffany chose to leave? If not, [again] that sucks. Just from the one scene with Noel, she seems like a tough, smart cookie that set EON female characters apart from the rest.
