I've been watching a lot of the 1982 clips and I had to ask: For long-term EON fans, did Gunther give you creepy but hot vibes like he gives me? I should be totally repulsed by him but I find the late David Froman super hot. Mitzi was a fool for not jumping his bones.

Just her overreaction to the whole situation and her leading the witch hunt against Aviva. I found it to be just too shady for me. It was OK if she was mad but she didn't have to turn the other women against her.

I thought that last night's NYC was OK. The highlight was watching Bethenny's walls come down more. Everything else was pretty blah. I don't care for Sonja's delusional antics, or Carole running for the board. That sh-t was stupid. And I totally understood Ramona being defensive against Heather's comment b/c it's obvious that she is trying to stir drama b/c she has no story this season. This is why I am glad that Bethenny digs into Heather's ass next week. Heather always tries to psychoanalyze people and it is pretentious and aggravating. She's not doing it to be genuine. She's doing it so she can ride on someone's coattails for a story, and have something to talk about. I am worried about Bethenny/Carole's friendship. I am starting to really to see Carole as the snake she is. I saw it last year via the Aviva situation, but it is shining through this season. How she screwed over Luann's niece and how she is slyly kissing up to Bethenny.... I see what she is doing.

From what little I've seen, I can see that this was potentially EON's San Cristobal-type story, hence why I see why many didn't like it. I guess a lot of people don't care for royalty stories in soaps. With the exception of Mendorra 1.0 of course.

Could holidays play into it as well? Maybe soaps ran literally year round, no holidays off like soaps do now. Could be that. But this is an interesting question you've asked.

Thanks! And I am enjoying Raven & Sky the more I see of them. All this talk of the last two years of the shows makes me wish more episodes would pop up. Even though they sound so campy and ridiculous on paper, the stories still sound endearing and I wanna see them.

Do you think that it could be b/c of preemptions, Olympic games, the OJ trail, and other events? They may've been a factor in episode count.

How does Kym Marsh even form her mouth to even say crap like that? She seriously thinks that Michelle is along the lines of Bet, Vera, Hilda, etc. Like seriously. I'm ready for Anthony Cotton to come out and say that Sean is the newest Bet. Corrie needs to seriously get rid of that little deluded clique that runs and poisons the cobbles [i.e. Anthony, Kim, Jennie].

So Louis Van Dyne was the one that orchestrated the siege in Monticello, correct? That's something I'd love to see on soaps nowadays. A soap nut holding an entire city hostage and plucking off dead weight. GH, Y&R, and DAYS could all us a story like this....

OMG. This is so juicy that I need to see this. I usually hate whack-a-doo stories but this is one I wanna see.

I'm not even trying to get back into EE or Corrie. I'll watch Corrie for Deirdre's funeral but tune out afterwards. I don't even care for EE since Lucy died. Kathy can't even bring me back to that mess....
