  1. Meh. I wasn't impressed but I'll still watch. I can already tell I am not going to like Meghan if she is a mini-Tamra. One of that b-tch is enough. Two is just too much. The trailer also confirmed my suspicions that it'll be Vicki against the world yet again. No wonder why Lizzie opted to be a friend. This is going to be a sh-t show. RHOA: B+ Could've been better. The season focused too much on Phaedra/Apollo issues. They practically killed the season. IMO, Claudia is a good addition when she is logical and not all over the place. RHOBH: A-. Eileen and Lips saved this show. I'd've given it an A+ had there been no Kim or Brandi. Their substance abuse issues killed it for me. It was the same ol', same ol'. RHOMelbourne: B+. This season didn't have me like season one. Gamble is a good addition (like Claudia) when she's logical. Otherwise, she can be a mess. Pettifleur, however, was a flop. Lydia was still a bore and thirsty for a feud. Gina is still the queen. The other women are OK. RHOCheshire: A+. I was fulfilled and I love Magali, Ampika, Lauren, and Tanya. I love to hate Dawn and Leanne. It was lighthearted and the women weren't vile. We saw the upscale side of a wealthy district of London. There weren't 22 long ass episodes. It was a nice 10, which left me wanting more. Only thing that this season needed was a reunion. IMO, RHOCheshire was the best housewives series this year.
  2. Oh OK. Now I see what you were saying. Now that I agree with.
  3. Did Denise chose to leave or was it TPTB decision?
  4. She should've never been killed off. That left Zach in limbo till the time he left.
  5. See I didn't mind the Moons until they put them in Whitney's orbit. Well Tyler that is. I would've liked him to have been a lothario that spreaded himself all over the Square, which they seemed to be hinting at in the beginning. And I would've liked for them to have made Anthony, the supposed black sheep like Michael, to have been a loser at love that we could all root for. By the time they did start doing that for Anthony with his relationship with Alice, it was too late. Lee doesn't bother me, I just find him dull. Only time I got something from him was when he was with Lucy. When it comes to Mick and Linda, a part of me wishes that the writers would've played up on the Queen Vic curse and modeled them after tumultuous marriages/owners before them [Kat/Alfie, Chrissie/Den, Den/Angie]. Had Kat not had that disgusting affair with Derek years before, I would've been all for her being the interloper for Mick and Alice. Stacey too if she wasn't so loose in the past. I know affair stories are played out but I don't mind them when they are plotted well. EE has a history of telling good affair stories. Plus, Kat is in desperate need of getting out Alfie's orbit. Her being Mick's mistress could've been somewhat more interesting than the rape/baby story.
  6. I think we were both thinking the same, blue collar, just two different types. When I think of earthy, I think middle-middle, lower-middle class. From examples you've given, it's more lower-class period.
  7. I LOVE SB's promo. So 80s. I find myself watching all the SB promos a couple of times a year. What annoyed you about Danny? I always got the impression from episodes I've seen that they never tried to invest in him or the Andrades at all. Even Santana, who did get some shine. I felt she was bulldozed by Cruz and Eden and that was the end of her. She was the beginning of many victims. Kirk. Tori. Elena. Robert/Quinn. So on and so on. But back to Danny, why not give him a nice romance with Jade? I always felt that Ted flopped about in later years b/c he didn't have his solid core three with him. Especially Laken. But I guess because they were doing forbidden love stories with Kelly and Eden, they just decided to toss Ted aside.
  8. Please don't put that in the atmosphere. I think I'd fully give up EE by then. Whitney is just deadweight. She's like EE's version of Daniel Jonas. All her reincarnations aren't working. Only time she was endearing was her original story when she was being preyed on by Bianca's beau. And Lee is like Joey or the Moon brothers before him. A hot hunk with no compelling attributes or story. The one Carter child that was endearing has already left the building. They might as well send the other two off as well.
  9. Oh OK. But I don't see how those types of characters would even fit on the remaining four soaps. Well maybe DAYS but that's about it. I think they tried that with Clyde but it's failing miserably.
  10. I understood why Lydia left though. The show was too messy at that time, and I think she knew she would've been Tamra or Vicki's next target had she stayed. Especially since she is good friends with Gretchen, AND Vicki's son-in-law had that tiff with Lydia's mother. I agree. Lauri squander her chance of a return. She should've held the secret in and actually came on building bonds with Gretchen, Lydia, Alexis, and Heather. Then she should've dropped the bomb on Vicki when they were at the ski lodge. Would've made more of an impact instead of just starting a rumor and telling Gretchen, who people questioned anyways. There is no OC trailer out yet. They've only released a commercial. Here's a link to see that: https://www.clippituser.tv/c/ayvrp
  11. Cornpone like the Dingles of ED? If so, I can do without earthy characters.
  12. Hold on now.... Eileen was a boss too. She didn't need to back and observe for too long. Kim and Brandi let all their sh-t hang out. She had no choice but to notice it.
  13. Well I am just reporting what she said via social media a few days ago. But I do think she is telling the truth. Lizzie was well-received with viewers last season, and she single-handedly caused the downfall of Tamra [much to the audience's enjoyment]. While she was nonexistent the first half of the season, which I trumped up to her being observant of the women and collecting intel, she drove story the second half. But back to her status, I don't think Lizzie would lie if she was dropped or not. She's one of the ones that does not need the show. Her man is successful. Her bikini line is successful. She does pageants [i.e. sponsors contestants and competitions]. She comes from money. Lizzie can really do with or without the show. But I enjoy her b/c she brings sanity to this nutty ass cast.
  14. Well Lizzie stated that she chose to drop to friend status. She was offered full housewife status, but it asked for too much. I think she wants to refocus on her bikini line instead of fighting and blogging with b-tches. Plus, she could always be like Luann and become extremely popular on her 'guest star' star status that she is bumped back up s11.
  15. Do you think that earthier characters could make it in today's soaps? Or do you think those types of characters are dead/a thing of the past?
  16. I know that many critics have said that the Sopranos was the death of saccharine to the general TV viewing audience as they preferred gray characters, but do you think the late 80s was the shift from characters like Clarice for characters like Vicky?
  17. I thought that was low how she brought up Kandi's brother. Now if Kandi would've gotten gutter with Nene, she would've been in the right. She didn't even need to take the dig at Kenya either as she broke down over the same issue. Nene is just a mess and I can't understand why she's getting so much sympathy. I thought last night made her look insufferable and questionable. As I said earlier, Nene got away with murder, BUT she learned that her mess and antics will no longer be acceptable because these women will pounce on her ass yet again if necessary.
  18. I saw Melbourne and these women are nutty. I'm glad that Jackie and Gina somewhat made up off the show and they didn't really tear into each other. Watching those two go at it can be draining. Lydia coming for Gamble was pathetic. Someone is thirsty and hungry for camera time. I wish Gina would've jumped in and chin-checked her but I guess Gina had her on mute; she was practically irrelevant to her at this stage. I didn't feel bad about Gina coming for Chyka as what she said had some truth in it. There's nothing wrong about Chyka being neutral in a real life situation but a situation like this ... yeah. I get what Gina was saying. Chyka can't be 'loyal' to everyone in this situation. She has to choose a side or totally not be involved [a la Kandi], and she does not do that. Chyka has the tendency to waffle and straddle depending on who she is around. Pettifleur getting called out on her sh-t was too funny. IMO, she [along with Lydia] don't need to come back next season. She's a joke and everyone saw it at the end of part one. They were practically laughing at her b/c she's such a moron and a phony. And to think I thought I would've like Pettifleur.... Overall, it was lighthearted compared to Atlanta and BH's reunions. It's petty stuff that I can see all the women get over. Even Gamble and Janet's spat, which at this point should be dead and buried.
  19. Ooo. I gotta watch Melbourne's reunion. Is it a three part reunion? I don't think I can endure another one of those after tonight's reunion of RHOA. RHOA: Tonight's 90 minutes was draining. Like seriously. I have to commend Kenya & Cynthia for coming to Nene's aid after all the mess she has done to them. I wouldn't've been so gracious. As I said in an earlier post, I would've been like Kandi and Claudia [more like Kandi, who didn't give a f-ck at all] and let Nene drown in her pity and tears. The last part showed how Kenya, Claudia, and Cynthia are so forgiving. Especially Cynthia. Poor woman was practically holding Nene up. Even though people are calling them fake and phonies on Twitter, I didn't get that. I saw a bunch of women that were genuinely concerned for their co-star. I still feel like Nene got away with murder tonight, but I think she caught the hint that she can no longer bulldoze over these women anymore. She's going to have to find a new tactic when addressing these women--like having an adult conversation for once. I really didn't care for Altima and CoinStar shaped heffa b/c they were just irrelevant to me. I did enjoy Kandi calling out Thotsha about her lying how the therapy session went. If you're going to tell it then tell it like it is. Oh and Porsha is such a dummy. She didn't even realize that her good buddy was throwing harsh shade at her [re: the stripper joke]. Sometimes, I believe that Porsha chooses to ignore shade from Nene b/c she knows she needs her. I'm in the minority as I feel like the six main cast members all need to return next season. Porsha doesn't. She's given all she can give at this point. If anything, ATL needs two new housewives to shake it up a la NYC. RHOC: I see they already have started releasing promos for the upcoming season and I don't like that Lizzie has been downgraded to friend of the housewives. I can also see that everyone is coming for Vicki this season in the promo.
  20. I haven't watched in awhile but the day I did watch, I wasn't impressed with that they were giving Martin. Part of me wishes they would've just left him offscreen. And I am over Stacey and her slutty perils. I just felt that's all she did her original run. So her being opposite anyone who is in a relationship just makes me gag. Are they actually doing anything with Lee and Whitney as of late? I feel like that pairing is going to flop like all of Whit's previous ones. Whitney just needs to go.
  21. Do they have any other story for Stacey [or any Slater woman] instead of the usual affair/mistress story? These stories usually end bad and it undoes all the character progression the character previously had. I was never big on Stacey returning as I felt that character contributed all that she could her first run. Good to see Charlie doing good. I loved him on EE. IMO, Bradley was the last decent young male to be on this show in years. All the others have been flops since.
  22. Don't forget Ryan too. She seems to forget about him too. Jill is such a liar. She kills me how she has selective memory when it comes to her many duds over long career. She should just own and maybe we fans would stop tossing the sh-t in her face.
  23. She is. She was EP at the time. Their's YT footage to support it. I wish her ugly ass had Twitter, so I could send the clips to her.
  24. I love Sandy Ferguson too, but when I started watching, my Amanda was Christine Tucci. I've come across a lot of people that didn't like her Amanda but I enjoyed her. While Sandy's Amanda always seemed the total opposite of Rachel, Christine's Amanda was a spitting image of her mother. I think that both women were the best of both worlds. I love Amanda because she could be righteous at times but she was flawed too. Much like Rachel.
  25. *sighs* My Diane Parish deserves so much better than the drivel she is getting. I feel like she and Sharon Case never catch a break and never get applauded when they turn sh-t stories into sugar.
