  1. This warmed my heart to see the Labour party emerge victorious. Hopefully, this becomes our outcome here in the U.S. with the Democrats wiping the floor with Republicans.
  2. I just caught a whim of what she's been tweeting and yikes. A lot of these actors need to pull away from social media and revert to the days when there was anonymity between us and them.
  3. What?! I might have to get back into EE full-time with this return. I'm wondering if she'll discover the whole ordeal about Keanu as a way to pay Sharon back.
  4. If I am not mistaken, I think it was because of Jill's treatment of Mamie. Didn't Dru know about Jed, which is how she became a model for Jabot b/c she was blackmailing Jill too? This is why I hate the show has forgotten the Winters' ties with the Abbotts AND Newmans.
  5. @I Am A Swede 😂 I know it kills you that poor Emmerdale has become the Dingle breeding ground. And I am glad that squashed Victoria and Jacob. I am all for younger man/older female type stories but that story just felt weird to me given how Victoria was with David along with Jacob being groomed not too long before. I felt it was irresponsible to have Victoria take up with him.
  6. So do you think bringing him in as a son of Joe would be more logical? And I pray they don't toss him in the orbit of the Dingles, but that'll be hard as they consume the whole village. Please don't put that in the atmosphere, friend. I pray they don't bring him on to have him do heinous stuff. I loved Oliver on Corrie and was devastated when they killed Andy off. While I don't mind him having an edge, at least give the character boundaries. I hate how soaps feel that any character worth keeping long-term has to be morally corrupt. And I haven't been tuning in lately, but are they still doing Victoria/Jacob? I felt icky about that pairing.
  7. @I Am A Swede @BetterForgotten @DRW50, we have a new Sudgen coming to the Dales!!
  8. I have no clue b/c I assume they are paid by episode count. But maybe they weren't paid during that time they didn't shoot.
  9. @Cheap21 They were suspended for a week or two I think. Not much possibly occurred during their downtime as the show is so fragmented, you can't tell. Honestly, I am over Bravo trying to now enforce a "Code of Conduct." Like stop. You've promoted and encouraged bad behavior for eons. You've made millions off of people doing bizarre acts. Enough, already. All this moving the goalpost is going to result in someone suing the sh*t out of Bravo and winning big.
  10. *sighs* A waste of time. If these people can barely stomach Biden, why would they think that undecided and other voters would vote for Cornel West? He's old too. SN: Can Cornel stop trying to run for office and go and pay his child support?
  11. Well, it seems like this once wonderful experiment is about to meet a fatal demise. Y'all, please go and vote for democracy this November. Register people to vote. We are truly in scary times. And when Biden and the Democrats win "bigly" (Trump terms) in November (I am speaking it into existence), I hope they pass so much legislature to prevent this sh*t from ever happening again. Starting with term limits on the Supreme Court or even expanding it. Democrats need to start playing dirty.
  12. @Cat, I will take ET, TMZ, and Jasmine Brand's word that Kenya opted to walk away. B. Scott has changed his story 30 times in the past 48 hours. Brice Sander, who is in with Bravo, said she opted to walk away. Bravo isn't going to comment b/c they know it can go 2 ways: they can confirm Kenya chose to walk away and get backlash OR state otherwise and p*ss Kenya off that she scorches the earth.
  13. Allegedly he might've been sending suggestive stuff or propositioning some male talent too. Honestly, I believe it. How Andy is googley-eyed yet cross-eyed with some of the male talent is sketchy. Joe Whorega, Amir on Summer House: Martha's Vineyard, and the men on Southern Charm instantly spring to mind.
  14. BH might be the Y&R. While I think they should be safe, this season has to be better than the last to ensure that. Otherwise, I see them falling to the wayside too. The one that Brandi has lodged against him at this moment is about him allegedly sending sexually suggestive texts/soliciting talent. If I am not mistaken, Leah has him in her suit about Bravo allegedly coaxing her to drink when she told them she was sober. https://people.com/leah-mcsweeney-doubles-down-andy-cohen-claims-bullied-her-into-silence-blackballed-her-amended-complaint-8663232
  15. The sad thing is that the ratings were a pure indicator that the Reva hour was not working. When everyone had good content to work with, that's when it appeared that any of these soaps had boosts.
  16. I don't think Brit will sue. I don't think she ever was. Again, I think this was a plot to remove Kenya and lessen the budget. What I think they didn't factor in has been the backlash. Kenya and RHOA have been trending for 3 days straight and the comments are not good. Bravo needs to do some deep soul searching and realize they need to move these shows over to better production companies. I think Bravo not putting out an official statement is their way of trying to placate Kenya. B/c let's be honest, she knows where ALL the bodies lie. And unlike Bethenny, Nene, Leah, Brandi, Caroline, etc., I believe that Kenya (besides Mariah of M2M) is one person who can beat Bravo/NBC Universal in a courtroom or at least get a fat settlement. That aside, I think Bravo is going to be nothing about a year or 2. BH will be the only housewife show and it'll be aired alongside cultural programming as you stated. It's obvious. And Andy has too many allegations against him. I wouldn't be shocked if they forced him into retirement soon.
  17. @Cat, I think had Gretchen gone the legal route, at the time we were living in, Gretchen would've been made the bad guy and TamRat would've been a victim. While many of us viewed the act as heinous in real-time, others didn't. And Andy/Bravo would've done everything in their power to protect Tamra as she has always been Andy's fave. (re: ATL) - I don't even think we'll get Porsha's spinoff-type content for this season. No one will challenge Brit/Kelli as they've shown they'll go the legal route. I think Angela Oakley might dip out too by tweets and her unfollowing Porsha, Kelli, and Brit on IG. Angela appears to be close to Kenya. This season is flopping all over the place. I kept saying that all Bravo needed to do to ATL was get rid of production after season and simply bring Porsha back with that cast. I stand firm that this was a hit job to get rid of Kenya and it worked. I am glad she was cleared in Bravo's investigation.
  18. Well according to Brice Sander, Kenya was cleared of the investigation, but it came at a cost. I assume Bravo decided to cut her salary, so Kenya has now walked away from the show in protest. And even her mortal enemy, Brandi Glanville, is coming to her aid and speaking on her behalf. You know if those two are in tandem, something in the house of Bravo is off. Brandi also confirmed what I suspected--Bravo knew beforehand what Kenya had to do b/c a production meeting had to occur for them to set up stuff and get the shots. Even Mariah (of M2M) said the same. I think this was a hit job to get rid of Kenya b/c she dared to speak out against production in the Carlos King interview last year.
  19. True. I do think that from watching clips around that time, GL had a stellar cast/characters. You had the Bauers still somewhat prominent. The Reardon were their counterparts, who were immensely popular. I think the arrival of BM as Alex probably brought tons of eyes. And Reva was compelling early on. Does anyone feel that '84 was possibly the last year that the show felt like an ensemble until after KZ left in '90, thus breaking away from the show being the Reva hour? I mean '88 seemed to be the start of it going back to being an ensemble but Reva was still heavily shown.
  20. Could be. I am shocked though if it is the Susan Piper story because wasn't it not well-received? I can see the stuff with Josh/Reva being well-received naturally.
  21. Oop! Not John Beradino pinpointing that the issue was GH not surrounding the show around the hospital. 😜 But he is speaking the truth. That aside, was GL beating GH at the time because of the Four Musketeers in NYC? Wasn't that the story that took GL to #1?
  22. Well would we count DC as the actual first? But I was referring to the current batch of shows that are airing. I think ATL and NJ are doomed. See, I've never gotten into Below Deck, so I don't know what is going on in its entirety. I know a little at the most. My mom is obsessed with it, so she is all into it; however, I am not stunned that the show veered into toxicity. After the network stayed pushing Kate Chastain as a face of Bravo, I am sure others felt that using her model would get them into the spotlight too. SN: Hell has frozen over. Brandi is on Twitter defending Kenya. Now that tells you something...
  23. Atlanta and NJ are going to be the first to fall. That obvious. While OC looks good (trailer-wise), I get this pit in my stomach that the Shannon gang-up is about to be overkill and possibly put them back on the wrong track. Praying I am wrong. SLC is hit or miss. People are already incensed about Monica not returning. And Lisa leaking stuff to the press about Mary calling her child the r-word makes me think it is going to be toxic and dark. SLC really can't afford to be too dark or it'll suffer the fate of Dallas in their fifth season. BH is safe for now. I think it depends on the transition this upcoming season. Last season was a dud, but it wasn't too bad. It had good moments. Potomac is make or break this season. I think that the firings of Candiace and Robyn scared the women to get back on track. However, I never put too much trust in Ashley and Gizelle as they can't seem to stay away from smut. Miami is the best show of the bunch. However, Bravo treats them poorly. And they just are about to start filming when they should've started when Potomac and Atlanta started. I don't put too much hope in them. Dubai has potential but much like Miami, I don't see Bravo caring too much about them in the long run. NuRHONY has been quiet about what is going on, so we'll have to wait and see how that pans out. If I had to bet, I think OC and BH will be the last 2 standing. BH will outlast them all but not for too long. I think once Bravo announces the ends of NJ and ATL (the two shows that have the strongest cultural impacts), the audience will bleed out all over the other shows. Bravo will then either shift to Below Deck being the network's main franchise or turn into MTV where they have 3-4 reality shows total and spend the rest of the year showing reruns and old movies.
