Don't know if someone post this before, but it looks like KellyAnne's hubby has ties to Russia too... http://www.nzherald.co.nz/world/news/article.cfm?c_id=2&objectid=11802163- Another World Discussion Thread
Understandable that Carl came to town b/c of Donna & Felicia, however, he did eventually make his way round to Rachel before before getting written off his original time. I can somewhat bend my belief that he was drawn to Rachel b/c of her resemblance to Justine. I can believe that Carl once saw good traits in Justine too. I mean it does seem that his opinion of her changed once he realized Justine took Rachel's place. I do think that the stories that occurred at the climax (i.e. Ryan's death) were horrible. I don't think that Ryan should've never been killed, but stayed in a coma until PMV decided to return, which could've happened about a year or two later when he spent all that time playing ghostly Ryan. I just don't think the gist of the story is that bad looking back on it. An unhinged mother/lover blowing into town to reclaim her sons and Carl. I didn't mind her being a dead ringer for Rachel too. I just think the degree of her crimes were absurd like having Rachel locked in an asylum abroad or Vicky in a basement. I do think that her poisoning Lorna & causing Spencer to have a stroke were the most believable things to occur. The switch with Rachel was unnecessary. Overall, I just don't think the story was that heinous. Again, I might be suffering from the fact that soap stories are so abysmal now that I look back on this and see it wasn't so bad after all.- Another World Discussion Thread
Question to my fellow AW fans--what are your thoughts and opinions on the Justine story? I've been rewatching clips from that era again and maybe it is b/c soaps are dreadful now, but I find the story not as bad as I did when I'd originally watch it. Yes, some things could've been taken out the story to prevent it from going all the way over the top (i.e. Justine locking Vicky in the basement), but the basic gist of the story isn't all that bad. Is it just me?- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
RHOS: These b-tches are utter trash. Victoria, Krissy, and Nicole are just vile. Nicole is a gossip, Krissy is an attention whore, and Victoria is nasty. I find it odd that it was OK for Victoria to gossip about Lisa and AthenaX but it wasn't OK for AthenaX to mention Victoria was fat. Matty is a messy broad too for snitching on Athena. Seriously? Why do that? While we're on Matty, doesn't she look like a hybrid of Rock of Love's Frenchy and Real Housewives of Miami's Marysol? As of now, I can see that I'll only like Melissa, Athena, and Lisa.- Santa Barbara Discussion Thread

Good. I am glad he's imploding. Trump seems like the type that when he implodes, he'll accidentally snitch on himself, which is what we need him to do.- Another World Discussion Thread
I think that's why I love so much b/c it is a nod at the interlocking rings and their significance in the show up until the You Take Me Away theme took over. I just loved the theme and the shots. I do agree that they had to keep editing it because people were in and out of the show from 96-99. Speaking of Courtney, I didn't realize that Bellamy Young (of Scandal) was the original Courtney until watching a few episode of AW from 95.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
The rumored RHOP taglines: Gizelle Bryant– “Word on the street is, I’m still the word on the street.” Karen Huger– “Potomac put me on a pedestal, and the view is spectacular.” Robyn Dixon– “Don’t let the green eyes fool you. I’m as real as they come.” Charrisse Jackson Jordan – “Why cry over spilt milk when you can laugh over champagne?” Ashley Darby– “I played by Potomac rules, but now, it’s time to play by my own.”- The Politics Thread
Is this true? Can Obama really sue Trump's tub of lard ass for libel, thus leading to his tax returns to come out?- DAYS: Behind the Scenes, Articles/Photos

I know @DRW50 will wanna kick me for this, but today marks the 21st anniversary of the debut of AW's final (and infamous) credits--the ER credits! I think I am in the minority that I was one of the few that loved the theme and the opening. Especially, the shots of the spinning gyroscope.- As The World Turns Discussion Thread

Jeffery Lord is a f-cking dolt. I hate how these channels keep giving him a platform.- Guiding Light Discussion Thread
I didn't care for Jeffery/Reva either. Like I said, Reva needed a damn career to center her. They should've either put her at Lewis, Spaulding, or had her back at Springfield Journal, which is what she did for a small stint in the 80s. I miss the days when jobs created arcs on these shows. GL getting rid of WSPR in the mid 90s with Gilly was crazy. Those days when Roger, Holly, Fletcher, Nick, and Gilly were at the paper and news station was some of the best storytelling.- The Politics Thread

RHOA Sneak Peek: In my opinion, it is time for Porsha to go. Now see this is why I never liked that b-tch. She takes sh-t too damn far. Suggesting someone was attempting to drug & rape her to perpetuate a damn lie?- Guiding Light Discussion Thread
^ @Soaplovers, I think it was criminal how GL decimated their younger characters the last decade post Michelle/Drew/Bill/Jesse/Danny. Lizzie, Coop, Marina, and Tammy should've been handled so much better. Tammy nor Coop should've been killed off. Ben too. Marah & Shayne shouldn't've been written off. Marina should've never been paired with Alan Michael, who was once believed to be her daddy, or Mallet, who was her godfather. Blake's kids should've been SORAS'd towards the end when Phillip returned. They could've added so many layers to that story as they were affected by Phillip's escape. Even though the good twin/bad twin trope is played out, they should've had Kevin be the good twin, who was much like Ross, and Jason be the bad twin, who was a spitting image of grandpa Roger. A few years ago when I was doing the fanfic blogs on here, I plotted out a story with Jason targeting Phillip (via Spaulding Enterprises) for causing Ross' death along with him targeting Rick (through Leah) for his hand in the incident. I also plotted a story where Kevin wanted to be a doctor like Rick, who was once believed to be his father, while Blake wanted to push him into law as he mirrored Ross so much. Blake would of course protest Kevin's choice as it'd be a reminder of how she cheated on Ross along with fearing Kevin might want to replace Ross with Rick. In the end, I wanted Rick/Kevin to form a surrogate father/son relationship much like Blake had with Ed, who was once believed to be her father. GL missed so many opportunities of good stories the last decade due to poor TPTB. So many stories could've been revisited and wrote themselves if only people would've done their homework and thoroughly studied the history.- The Politics Thread

I feel the same way; however, I know a lot of people loved WM's Dinah becoming a heroine, and hated when Dinah was made a bitch again when Cassie came on the scene. I didn't mind it because Dinah was so good at being bad. She was a character that didn't need to be declawed when she was. I wish the show would've kept Bridget around to soften the blow of Maureen's absence, but once KZ returned, this show wanted to scrap all things Bauers/Reardon and return it to the Reva Show. Sucks b/c the years Reva was missing in action was some of GL's best written. Love Reva but I always felt she was force fed and was like a ship w/o a rudder. She was all over the place. I said some time ago on here that Reva needed a damn career to center her.- Another World Discussion Thread
I totally agree. Still boggles my mind that Vicki Wyndham, Carmen Duncan, or Bev McKinsey never won for their roles when all three women were strong, stellar actresses.- Guiding Light Discussion Thread
