I am praying that Jon Ossoff wins here in GA. He isn't in my district, but I hope he wins the seat. He is someone I see might have a bright future in politics.- Santa Barbara Discussion Thread
I agree NLG was born to play the part of Julia. Unlike Alexis, Julia has parts of her that makes you love her. Alexis just doesn't. She was always too stupid for me. What struck a cord with me was the last shot of the scene with Eden of looking back in the courtroom and it gradually fading black. I interpreted that as justice isn't always served and it was (that day) a dark day for justice. I also felt for MW/Eden in the scene knowing that she was raped previously. I am wondering if Eden/Julia had any heart to heart talks over the situation. If so, I bet MW & NLG tore those scenes up. Who was writing this show at this time? Was it Pratt or Guza? If so, I am not surprised that they'd paint Dash as some repentant sap while his lawyer basks in her glory. I found that to be extremely tasteless.- Santa Barbara Discussion Thread
Well @DRW50 & @Wendy, speaking of Dash/Julia, this clip was posted this morning:- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I giggled when she said that bullsh-t. Especially, when it took her about 4 episodes to come clean about the Kim is almost dead crap. What boggles my mind is Erika inserting herself into it. It had nothing to do with her. She further proved Dorit's suspicions to be true--that Erika has it out for her. I see why Eden getting a diamond this season too. That b-tch is all over the place. She truly has no loyalty to anyone. The thirst is truly real when it comes to her. It was nice to see Eileen and LVP be cool for now, but I am sure it'll cease soon. Also, something I've been noticing as of late--Kyle schmoozing up to Erika. She is not slick. It is obvious she is doing that b/c she wants to weaponize and align with Erika in the future against LVP if necessary. Kyle referring to LVP as "Bobby Fischer" always seems like self-projecting to me. All these women are pawns to Kyle. Even Kim.- The Politics Thread
I think this move tonight was Rachel simply playing chess, but majority of America is too slow and prefers to play checkers. I didn't expect for the scandalous tax returns to be leaked tonight. But the fact that one of the returns was leaked tonight simply lets us all know that there will be more in the future. I think whomever is releasing those tax returns are building a narrative until the trigger is pulled and all is exposed. Kudos for Rachel for continuing to connecting the dots--something which the dolts on her network or CNN choose not to do.- Santa Barbara Discussion Thread
I'm betting they (the audience) weren't that happy either. The more I look into this show around the 91-93 period, the more I realize why fans turned away. It had to be jarring to see a canvas that is about 90% filled with newbies, who no one cared about and about 10% of the canvas of characters that you do; however, it does not help that even those characters had new faces overtime too.- Santa Barbara Discussion Thread

That's what I think it'll be. I pray, I PRAY that they bring Mama Joyce to the reunion.- The Politics Thread
Are you guys and gals watching Power of Putin on CNN? This documentary is putting so much stuff into further perspective...- Guiding Light Discussion Thread
@DRW50, @Mitch, @Khan, @zanereed--someone hold me. This episode made me tear up as I miss the citizens of Springfield. The exchange between Vanessa and Billy broke my heart, but dear God, it made me remember how much Nadine used to irk my damn nerves. Even though it was so wrong, Roger & Holly being together was so right for me. I still hate to this day that MZ or Roger didn't get the proper sendoff with Maureen Garrett/Holly being by his side. Jesus. Alex was so insecure in this episode. Ross too. I think deep down they knew that they were meant to be. One thing about the essence of Blake that the show failed to capture towards the end was she was best when she was a cat cornered regardless the actress.- The Politics Thread
Reorganizing the Executive Branch? Does anyone knows what this mean?- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
One of the Daily Dish correspondents went to the RHOBH reunion and spilled that there was a shouting match over Panty-gate and insults hurled back and forth. Mind you, they have not even gotten deep in the Hong Kong stuff or Kim's sobriety. Just listen to the first 5 minutes as they talk about the reunion here.- The Politics Thread

Sheree tried once again to turn a sensitive, topical issue on Kenya, so she'd receive backlash. Last year, it was the incident with Glen in Miami. Now it is this domestic violence issue where Sheree blatantly said that she's never been abused. Sheree is such a f-cking liar. Phaedra and Porsha both exposed themselves (even further) as liars. Phaedra slipping up and admitting that she was seeing a man before Apollo went in, and Porsha admitting she created the rape lie to get back Kandi. Just 2 pathetic, washed up old broads.- The Politics Thread
I just saw New Day and Steve King basically admitted his tweet was about saving the White patriarchy. Like Chris Cuomo said, this is gonna serve as great recruiting material for terrorist groups. With KellyAnne, they need to put her ass back on mute. She was a flip-flopping mess this morning. When Chris talked about healthcare, she'd bring up jobs. When Chris would switch to jobs, she'd skirt back to healthcare. I was glad when Chris shut her a** down again. Give that b*tch an inch and she'll take the whole damn ruler.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
But that's where the international shows excels--they only have 12 episodes (10 episode + 2 part reunion) on their shows. I'm praying that Potomac and Dallas keep that same model their upcoming seasons too. RHOA & RHOBH could've cut their episode count down a lot with many of the filler episodes they've had. The amount of 'drama' that's occurred on BH this season, they should've only had 10 episodes. ATL gives a little more so they should probably do about 15 at the most. No show should do twenty episodes a season. That's f-cking overkill. That's why these shows are starting to bleed out in the ratings now. Same with the Love & Hip Hop franchise too. Less is more.- Santa Barbara Discussion Thread
