  1. How Kyle reacted to LVP in that trailer should inform LVP on what's to come. Kyle is itching to turn on her. Like Affairleen and Lisa, she wants to ride the Erika train. She's been eager to jump aboard all season. I don't that PK deserves the nastiness he is getting from the women in that trailer. I'm sorry but I don't pity Erika. Never have. Never will. She chose to not wear panties. Now deal with the repercussions. I think next season is gonna be Rinna's swan song. These women are totally over her, and she can no longer use Kim as a crutch going forward. I think she's about to get the Brandi treatment come next season. And when she goes, so will Eileen.
  2. Glad I am not alone in them hooking Chris and Katie up. I'm sorry but after Katie pulled that stunt all those years ago that Chris was stalking her (when she was trying to get Molly's job at WOAK), I just find it odd that he'd end up with her. Katie should've just been left a widow, who wants to focus on her baby and career. She didn't need a happy ending. As a NUKE fan, I wanted Luke and Noah to end up happy and go off to LA together. Jack & Janet as a whole was just stupid. Given that Janet & Dusty had chemistry, the show should've just tossed her in his orbit from the start. By 2007, I was tired of Jack & Carly's breakups and reunions. I just wanted them to be put together permanently and shifted the story over to JJ, Parker, and Sage. Those 3 kids alone would've given Jack and Carly tons to do.
  3. RHOBH reunion trailer:
  4. He did for me. I truly just miss this show and the characters. I haven't watched the finale since it aired b/c it is too painful for me. The last year of ATWT was so hard for me. Helen Wagner died before the finale. That hurt my heart. My maternal grandmother, who I'd watch the show with avidly, died before the finale. I'd schedule my college classes the last few years of the show to ensure I had that hour (or 2) cut out so I could go and watch ATWT & GL with her. That final scene with Kim and Bob broke me down. When that globe turned, I had an epiphany and everything just came rushing out. That was a hard year for me.
  5. She was OK but I never found her interesting. I sure did see my bae win! I was just watching her on Smackdown snatch Alexa bald yet again!
  6. I believe it. I totally believe Trailer Sue is sleeping around. Her and Eddie have no chemistry at all. But why bring Lydia back? I've sat here and said for the longest that Bravo needed to bring back Gretchen AND Lizzie. Those 2 would've brought enough drama for the upcoming season. Damn. These folks never listen.
  7. Well based on the trailer, it looks like Monique is very capable in handling Gizelle. I don't think Gizelle is gonna run all over her. With Atlanta, folks on Twitter are saying that the reunion might be FOUR parts.
  8. @P.J., I miss CarJack too. I'd like to imagine that they are a solid couple (like Tom/Margo), and the story has shifted from them to kids. Carly, Babs, and Lisa own a solid fashion house, and Jack is still on the force at Oakdale PD giving Parker hell.
  9. RHOCheshire: Ester further solidifies that she poor, dumb Eurotrash. When she gleefully uttered that she thought that Opium (Ampika's beauty bar) was like a 'curry house,' I thought that was the most racist sh-t I've ever heard. Whatever mail order magazine they got this broad from, send her back. Leanne's breakdown was bound to happen. That's what happens when you serve as someone's lapdog for the longest and your feelings are moot. Leanne just confirmed everything I've said about Dawn the past 5 seasons--that she is manipulative, loves to play victim, and uses people to do her dirty work. Now she has that piece of trash, Misse, doing it. I cannot wait for next week when Ampika reminds Misse's basic that her services are no longer needed. Tanya is in a precarious position. I think she is gonna get burned once it is all said in done. In the pit of my stomach, she is gonna choose to follow Dawn (as always), and will live to regret it like Leanne has.
  10. So true. One thing I can give the P&G soaps is that they weren't big fans of hair models, and those that typically started that way were either booted on went on to become decent actors. Immediately, Austin Peck comes to mind when I say this. I can remember being horrified when it was announced he'd be Brad Snyder; however, he was molded into a true actor on this show thanks to having Terri Conn, Michael Park, & Maura West being his scene partners. I think this highlights the primary issue with soaps nowadays. There is no sense of community now. That void is gone and it shows. I (too) miss the days when everyone would comment on recent scandals that happened on the canvas despite it affecting them. It was true to real life. Now everyone on soaps are isolated into little factions and barely interact with characters outside of it. So you miss characters like Katie and Janet? What I miss most about this show is the Hughes clan. Despite my love for other soap families like the Winters/Barbers, the Cory and the Bauers, no soap family was as special to me like the Hughes. There was something so rich, so magical, and so powerful with this family. I feel like regardless your race or age, there was someone in this family that you could find yourself in, or someone that reminded you of someone you were related too and loved. I got that Kim & Nancy. Both of them reminded me of my late maternal grandmother, who was a huge ATWT fan. While my grandmother was stern like Kim, she also had that nurturing, forgiving side that Nancy possessed. She was career driven and strong like Kim, and was all about family unity like Nancy. With Bob, I felt that I finally had the grandfather I always wanted and didn't have. My late maternal grandfather, though I loved him, was vicious (at times) and was an alcoholic. With my paternal step-grandfather, we have no relationship as I find him to be just vile. Bob filled that void for me b/c he was everything I'd want in a grandfather. I just miss the Hughes so much...
  11. Them all too. I know they can't live forever, but in my mind, I'd like to think they can. But let's put this topic to rest b/c I feel like by us even entertaining the worst, we're somewhat speaking it to existence. People, what are your favorite ATWT moments? Fave characters you miss? Just in general what do you miss about the show overall?
  12. Me? I'd have to say Nancy Curlee as that's who I grew up on and was watching as child when I fell in love with GL. Now thanks to YouTube, I love a lot of the material from Dobson and Marland too. Pam Long isn't bad either when she doesn't focus heavily on Reva and the Lewises. You're welcome! Normally @DRW50 posts the links on here before I do, but I happened to see he didn't this time, so I went ahead and did it.
  13. Yes, she always acted like she was the sh-t, but it is worsening in my eyes. I think the success of this show is making her head get bigger.
  14. I don't even wanna think about it or speak it to existence.
  15. RHOA: While tonight was practically a filler episode, I am glad that Kenya was finally vindicated tonight. It is obvious that Phaedra and Apollo were both using Kenya to cover up both of their extramarital affairs. I hope Kenya takes Phaedra's lard ass to task over this at the reunion. Ain't no way I'd allow someone to slut shame me and use me to deflect from the truth. Dumb & Dumber looked stank in those onesies. When Porsha commented that she and Phaedra stay 'moist,' that made me wonder has Porsha wedged her head between Phaedra's thighs once upon a time. That just isn't a comment I'd hear friends say with each other. Just too suspect given all these lesbian accusations all season. Ready for the finale even though I am not eager to see Cigz-n-Wigz make her return to the show. Obvious she was picking a fight with Kenya to set up for her return next season. RHOP: The premiere was flat, but I do think that a lot of division between the women is gonna payoff down the line. I see Robyn/Gizelle's friendship being tested this season. Robyn is already apprehensive about sharing things with Gizelle given that Gizelle has no problem with blowing up anyone's spot. I do agree with Juan though that Robyn needs to not get involved. Stay neutral. So glad that Charisse finally got better weave. That mop she was donning last season was not cute at all. That aside, she needs to build a bridge and get over when it comes to Gizelle spilling her tea. Charisse flat out tried to allude that Gizelle was loose, and Gizelle took a shot back at her. If you are gonna diss it, be able to take it back. That aside, I do see that Gizelle is letting this show get to her head. Yes, you are one of the breakout stars (alongside Karen), but the audience can flip on you in dime. She better go ask Nene, Tre, Vicki, Kyle, Ramona, Bethenny, etc. There's nothing more unappealing than someone who lacks humility. Ashley and Michael's marriage is coming off real farce to me. Last season it was sketchy to me, but now it seems real sketchy. This marriage seems like a business contract or something. The chemistry ain't there and most of their disputes stem from money. I think Ashley knows this hence why she wants a baby urgently. She knows that a baby is a safety net to secure she lives a cushy life if Michael decides to leave her.
  16. I don't even wanna imagine that happening. The second I hear that something has happened to Eileen, Kathy, or Don, I am gonna be a straight mess.
  17. OMG. So forgot that today was the show's anniversary. I'd give anything for this show to be revived in some capacity. I miss Oakdale so much.
  18. And gets more interesting.... https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2017/mar/31/michael-flynn-new-evidence-spy-chiefs-had-concerns-about-russian-ties
  19. I get that, but he's a young boy. Of course he was gonna do stupid crap like use Bex for sex to cover up his transgressions with Michelle. I just hate how hypocritical both Sharon and Martin were as if we've forgotten their constant screw ups. It isn't like they are salt of the Earth characters.
  20. OK. I caught tonight and I was not impressed. While I feel like I should hate the Preston character, I actually pity him after seeing how Sharon, Bex, and Martin treated him. My eyes literally rolled out my head when Sharon told Preston that he was a 'cancer' to Michelle. This coming from the broad, who stays going back to Phil time and time again? I truly wish that Letitia Dean would leave the show again as they've destroyed Sharon. Martin scolding Preston annoyed me even more. How can declare Preston as being destructive when Martin killed someone? Sleeping with an elder v. killing someone with a car ... I think Martin has no room to talk. Bex grinning at the end with glee as Preston left was pathetic. I just hate how Preston took all the heat while Michelle didn't take as much and she IS the adult.
  21. Well he is receiving a nice backlash for his comment. I am so over him whining about liberals being PC and it affecting us in the polls. There's a difference between being PC and being an outright racist. What O'Reilly said about Maxine Waters was racist. How Spicer treated April Ryan was condescending and misogynistic. It it what it is. But b/c Bill Maher allegedly beds Black women on occasion, he feels like he can speak for us African Americans at times and can't. If he actually listened to a Black person, he'd know that hair is a sensitive topic for us all, as we're told from day one what is considered good hair vs. bad hair OR what is an acceptable hairstyle vs. what is unsettling to others.
  22. RIP, Jean. I own her book, Writing for the Soaps, which I find very insightful when it comes to the industry. She'll be missed.
