  1. @Cheap21 @Taoboi @Cat @DaytimeFan @Chris B @Gray Bunny @Antoyne A leaked clip from the reunion:
  2. Oh OK. But I still don't see how Stu's wife running off with the cook was a jump-the-shark moment. Women run off with men all the time.
  3. ATWT had some cheap ass sets too though. I grew tired of looking at the town square, Oakdale PD, the Snyder's kitchen, Lily's new ugly ass house, CarJack's house, Al's Diner, that one suite at the Lakeview that everyone occupied, and that kitchen set that was supposed to be WOAK. All that sh-t made me wanna weep.
  4. I'm not holding my breath when it comes to this Phaedra mess. A part of me believes that she'll be back... Speaking of some people I want gone, I am over Erika and Rinna. Both of them broads can exit stage left. I'll take TayShanna and Brandi over these heffas and I totally hate both of those pieces of trash.
  5. I agree! I just don't get what Frons/NBC saw in cancelling the show. I feel like it still had so much life in it. Yes, killing Suzy wasn't the wisest decision, but the show was still viable. We still had Jo and Stu. As long as those 2 remained at the helm, I think the show could've still been viable.
  6. Why was 1981 such a bad year for the show? I know '84 was probably not so well with old SFT fans b/c the McClearys ate the show, but I do find them all appealing characters, who weren't grating. At least they were ingeniously tied to legacy characters (Cagney with Suzy, Quinn with Sarah & Wendy, Hogan with Sunny & Liza).
  7. Damn. I am bawling. I knew this was gonna happen, which is why I tried delaying watching this episode for the longest. I am sorry but I don't like this Jai plot. I get he is supposed to be getting over the loss of Holly, but I hate it. I hate that poor Jai is about to be used and abused yet again. Glad that the writers took this moment to get Adam and Victoria started on their baby making. Out of all the soap couples in the world, I want a little bundle of joy for these two. Someone has to carry the Sugden legacy! Ashley... The scene where he looked at all his family pictures before succumbing to death killed me. When Laurel found him, I became even more hysterical. Then they pulled the camera panning upwards to indicate Ashley had safely ascended into heaven and I died. It reminded of Jack's death on Corrie. Just beautifully done. What I found also beautiful was that Ashley was surrounded by the people he loved the most: Sandy, Bernice, Arthur, Laurel, and Gabby. I just hate that poor Gabby didn't say her goodbyes. I feel like that is gonna haunt her going forward, and I am interested to see how it affects her. Just a subtle, beautiful episode. God I am gonna miss John Middleton/Ashley. This show has lost a pillar. Excuse me while I go cry some more.
  8. OMG. Thank you for all these clips! There is just something so whimsical, magical about Sherry Mathis/Liza. I so wish that episodes from the height of Liza/Travis would emerge. I've read synopsis on them, and their story sounds like a joy to watch. Reading up on the show, I never understood why SFT got the heat that it got. Even towards the end. I find the episodes more endearing than anything on air from the last ten years.
  9. Funny thing is that Nene tweeted that same line a few weeks ago and was referring to Phaedra. When those 2 lock horns again...
  10. I think they'll air consecutively on Sundays for the next month. Bravo is gonna milk this for all that it is worth. I actually want Phaedra and Porsha back next season with Nene possibly returning. I want her to drag them from one end of Atlanta to the other.
  11. @DRW50, I am not ready! I am gonna be a total wreck when I watch this.
  12. I hope he didn't knock her ass up. Despite him being bisexual, I'd for once like to think the writers wouldn't use this lazy trope to cause tension between Robert & Aaron.
  13. I just posted a Twitter video (like always) b/c some of the international posters can't see vids from Bravo's actual site. I can't wait to see what @Cat @Antoyne @Gray Bunny @DaytimeFan @Mr. Vixen has to say about that trailer!
  14. @Taoboi, God heard your prayers. Damn. Just skip the finale. I'm ready for the reunion.
  15. According to Wiki, he unfortunately was. Laurence Caso, who was 2nd longest reigning was only there for 8 years. I have the same sentiments as @DRW50 that it was shameful how long he lasted. After Hogan left, he should've left with him. I think all those EMMY wins he got secured him at the show.
  16. Ramona is f-cking ruthless. That last scene with she and Luann had me rolling. However, I pity Luann for being so desperate to be married. Like Ramona said, she is gonna fall flat on her face at the end of the day. Tom is just not loyal. A blind man can see he only hitched his wagon to Luann b/c he wanted on the show. I think Bethenny was in a dark place last season, and I think we're gonna get a more light Bethenny this season. She just seems like she's in good spirits. This might be yet another good season of NYC.
  17. CZ must've not liked Babs/Gunnar pairing?
  18. That would've been touching, but you know that Goutman was not gonna do anything consisting of the generational theme of the show. I was shocked and glad that they incorporated the world spinning in some capacity in the end. I would've been pissed if they didn't. While the finale was lukewarm, I was fearful leading up that they were gonna do something horrible much like I heard rumblings/rumors of Ellen Wheeler wanting to do do stupid crap for GL's ending before being locked out the writer's room.
  19. What's wrong with Dollar Tree? I honestly didn't mind the globe at end. Again, I thought it was cute.
  20. I liked the globe turning on the desk lighting up and spinning. I always wanted some shot at the end of the the world spinning on and on thus signifying that the show and its characters would spin on and on in the fans hearts and minds. Just like I loved the shot of the gyroscope, the pics of all the infamous characters, and infamous the shot of Mac toasting to life in the AW finale, and the lighthouse being show at the end of GL. Those are images I found synonymous with those shows. I hated how AMC didn't end on ABC with the photo album closing shut. I'm one of the few that hated the finale. I wanted something poignant and cute for their show ending. Would've been so nice to have seen Erica simply thumb through the pages of the album and flashback to infamous moments in AMC's history before closing the album shut, placing it on the coffee table, and walking out leaving us taking one final look at the infamous red book.
  21. Well no one has leaked it yet.
  22. Yeah I hate how Kim didn't get to protest Katie/Chris when she's done it with all of Chris' previous mates, who were no worse than Saint Katie. I still remember it like yesterday when JPiss said in SOD that Janet was based off of her. I knew right then that Janet was gonna eat the show. Sucks b/c as you pointed out, Janet would've been a much better character had she served her original purpose--an interloper between Brad and Katie. But to answer @Scrapple's question, I would've: 1. Had Katie end a widow. She would've for once focused on her career and child instead of chasing a man (the primary issue with 90% of the women in the last decade of the show). 2. Brought Grant or Don back for an arc with Lisa. Lisa would've gotten her happy ending with someone instead of being left alone. 3. Had Noah & Luke reunite. They would've went off to Los Angeles together to pursue film and TV together. 4. Instead of Casey & Allison move out of town, Casey would've just reopened Chris Sr's law firm (Lowell, Hughes, & Colman) from years ago just to keep up tradition. 5. Had Emma sell the farm, as she wanted to pick up her writing again. She'd plan a trip around the world for inspiration. 6. Like I've said before, Carly would've went into business with Lisa and Babs. It would've been so nice to have these 3 bury the hatchet and go in business with one another as all three women were so alike. 7. Brought back Scott Bryce as Craig. He would revert back to reformed Craig and eventually reunite with Roseanna. 8. Brought back Andy. It was criminal that Andy was not mentioned or asked back for the finale. He bring back Hope in tow. Out of the final months of the show that I did like was Bob & Kim retiring and moving away (a nod to Nancy/Chris when they were written off), and Paul/Emily reuniting.
  23. No. They never air a preview before the finale. God I love you. This post was just perfection.
  24. The finale has not aired. I think Dorit talked to Kim b/c they've both been victims of her constant sh-t talking. To me, it made sense. It was messy though, but I get it. I'm over these broads taking one word (Munchausen, amnesia, pantygate) and making it the highlight of the season. I really need this show to get back to the glitz and glam of the first 2 season. I see LVP trying to steer the show back into that direction, but she's surrounded by so many basics that it can't happen. They seriously need to clean house... I got why PK got involved in the fight too. You had Erika and Dorit going at it, BUT you also had Eileen and Rinna foaming at the mouth to get in too. If I were him, I'd get involved too. LVP and Kyle were helping out but they aren't gonna fully put their necks on the line for Dorit. Kim was there too, but she restrained herself b/c she knows how dirty Rinna would get if she got involved. Rinna came for Dorit b/c 1. she thought it would gain her more fans by siding with Erika 2. like you said, she needed a story. Unfortunately for her, it backfired. People on all sides are sick of her.
