  1. She truly did. Sadly, her second stint was crap thanks to the writing. They basically exchanged Emily for Rosanna for in being the opposition for Meg/Paul. That sh-t annoyed me.
  2. Now she can take Faye with her. I'd be all for that. Take Izzy too. I never cared for either of those characters. Tim doesn't need Faye as he's well threaded into Sally's orbit. Also, it looks like Gary is about to be threaded into Sarah's orbit, so Izzy is not needed.
  3. I'm assuming due to Maura. Rosanna didn't really become remotely interesting till Carly arrived.
  4. Debbie Rush (Anna Windass) is out after nine years. I didn't hate Anna as much as others, but she did annoy me being a shrew at times. I did enjoy her relationship with Kevin at times. I wish her nothing but the best; however, I hope this doesn't affect Gary though.
  5. Ew no. There are far much better choices than Eva. Like Eva but no. I feel like they are scraping at the bottom of the barrel for that casting choice.
  6. The Country Club episode is apparently next.
  7. @DaytimeFan, I think that Monique was clearly cast to be a solid ally for Charrisse. I don't mind her and she does deserve another season; however, this show needs two fiery personalities to join the show next season and make it a solid 8. I've suggested Mica from Blood Sweat and Heel, and that Bravo needs to woo her to move there and join the show. If Bravo really wanted to go all out, I'd suggest Tiffany "New York" Pollard be brought onto this show. She's bring the right amount of press coverage and hilarious drama this show could need. With rumors that Kenya is about to leave ATL this season too to move to NY with her hubby, they might need to see of her husband will opt to move to the DMV area, so she can help give them a boost.
  8. Potomac: Why are these women so obsessed with why Karen moved out of Potomac? I wouldn't even care. I doubt Karen is having financial issues or someone would've spilled it by now. I doubt it is marital too. I'm hearing that it might have something to do with her mother and wanting to move closer to her. I still do think though that Karen didn't need a damn 9 bedroom house. Just too ostentatious. Monique new house is gorgeous. I know once she gets done, it is gonna be everything. I am not surprised she is finished with it as I'm sure it'll serve as her story next year. Robyn sticking with Juan is just plain stupid. I think he's only entertaining her b/c he fears someone will approach his territory. Sneak peek of the reunion:
  9. I enjoyed the two twin fathers story b/c it gave Rick something to do, and b/c of the history between Rick/Blake. I just think that many of the key players (Phillip/Ed) were missing to contribute to that story.
  10. Poor Nadine. But what makes me mad with her is that she didn't whack Billy upside the head instead of trying to get to Vanessa. So I am assuming that the infamous Country Club scene is coming soon. Right?
  11. I liked the Tory story too. I think that it was one of GL's last great stories, and sadly Ross'. I don't think that Ross got a major story after the Tory arc.
  12. But I liked Liz Keifer's Blake. She was no Sherry but she was decent. I just think that they kept giving Blake the same stories time and time again. By the time she slept with Ben, it grew tiring of watching Blake have affairs, Ross getting mad, and them eventually reconciling.
  13. Bestie boo, why must you come for me at times?! Tinsley was known back in early to mid 2005 for being a NYC socialite and having a pocketbook line. She was like the NY equivalent of Paris but less trashier. And I think she's delivered this season; she's given Sonja a story and had to deal with her crazy. That's good enough.
  14. I don't mind Tinsley. She doesn't bother me. I do wish that she'd get her hustle on, and get back to being the businesswoman we used to know her as. I like that she is the gentle soul amongst these women. I don't think NY needs to fire anyone this year; however, they do need to add a housewife for their 10th season ... Jill.
  15. Mallet and Mindy would've been hot along with Roger being involved. It would've been so fun for Mallet to have been investigating Roger and trying to find his mistress only to discover it was Mindy, who he was falling in love with. That would've been explosive. Mallet being paired with Harley was just boring. I found Harley to be boring and whiney when she was with Mallet. I don't think she truly got her spunk back until she came back in the mid 90s. But GL is stupid for letting Kim Simms slip out their reach. I would've given her the world if I was EP to ensure she signed on again. I can't see her as Ashley, but I could've totally seen her being the perfect Jennifer recast. Her Jennifer alongside Mark Valley's Jack would've been HOT! Kim Simms is MY Mindy. I started watching as a young boy when she was Mindy. I knew Krista as Tina, as I didn't know about Andrea Evans, who'd previously played the role. Krista is OK as Mindy, but Kim Simms was IT for me. Krista's Mindy seems to be more comedic and girl next door-ish. Meanwhile, Kim's Mindy exuded sex appeal and was vampish. Kim is one of the few times in soaps I prefer the recast to the original.
  16. Again, why can't we have teens and girl friendships/sisterhood like Kat and Bridget? Nowadays, most female soap characters aren't remotely close. Not even if they are related. I loved Bridget and Kat on the fire escape sharing their fears, concerns, plotting, and joking with one another. The scenes with Billy/Vanessa were cute. However, poor Billy just could not handle a strong woman like Vanessa at times. I think later in life he grew to, but at this time, he couldn't. I am not caring about this Mallet/Francesca story. IMO, I always felt that Mark Derwin's Mallet had stellar chemistry with Kimberly Simms' Mindy. Boggles my mind how Nancy Curlee didn't put these two together. Especially since I didn't care for Mallet/Harley either, who are about to start soon. Love Roger but he can be a dolt at times. Him showing up at Mindy's office was just careless. I don't get either how he couldn't pick up on the tension with Alex too. When Alex starts turning on the charm and being syrupy sweet, Roger should've known Alex was onto him.
