  1. Wow. That is a superb wax likeness. It does look just like her.
  2. She's even put up a clearly worded statement on Instagram...
  3. That's how I feel - sums it up completely for me. Production on ATL is a problem and as everyone has said, ATL flopped with Covid, while shows like NJ and Summer House thrived. Garcelle's tagline is superior to all of them. Perfect. Vyle is always harping on about her town...by which she must mean Encino because she lives deep in the Valley. Erika...No. You're not strong. You're complicit.
  4. I don't know how they knew each other, but Tawny and Jess Walton are/were longtime friends. She seemed an easygoing soul with a great sense of humour about herself. Condolences to her family, 59 is far too young to die. May her memory be a blessing.
  5. And they’ve all been hated for good reason. Not one of them has touched Y&R 1973 - 2005.
  6. Unless they're returning to film the series finale? This renewal has been handled so bizarrely I'm at a loss as to what NBC/Sony/Corday are thinking.
  7. NY Agree the energy is off and that 5 main cast members is too few. The flash forwards give me hope. I did enjoy Sonja a lot this episode: she was light and funny and friendly. Lu was giving me shades of delusional cabaret Lu...we'll see how this season unfolds. I thought Ebony fit in beautifully and I like her candor about her financial missteps in her youth. She is not a cast member whose in denial and living beyond her means - been there, done that. DALLAS I hate Kameron too. She is very dumb. What did she think she was going to accomplish with trying to accuse Tiffany of racism? What? The? Hell? It was a very bad look and I don't care to watch her. I have no sympathy for Kary. She's a nightmare and I wish her soon-to-be ex-husband Godspeed in getting that divorce finalized. I'm sure he's very relieved to have a marriage agreement in place. D'Aandra did a good job and was blinged out admirably. However, I do think this franchise sucks and should be cancelled.
  8. You're absolutely right and it has a lot to do with Bravo wanting to change the RH franchise to a younger demographic so they're propping the young cast members and trying to hype her up as if she had a big impact. It is so classically Brian Frons that for a fan of AMC, Andy Cohen should be ashamed of himself.
  9. Absolutely @kalbir and I don't want to suggest anything about Kimberlin Brown other than what she has publicly put out there. If Victoria Rowell praised her, then she has good reason to do so. And I would never diminish Kimberlin's talent. She is an incredible actress. My difficulty is like that of @FrenchBug82 above - at what point can we separate why a particular person supports a cause or movement, in Kimberlin's situation it seems that she loved Trump's economic policies, versus what that cause or movement stands for as a whole? At what point is cherry picking issues acceptable versus not? This is one of Kimberlin's posts and I think it shows where she is at these days:
  10. And the thing is she’s still a Trumper. Even after January.
  11. RHOD Danny Pellegrino was right. What a flop of a show. They should cancel this mess. The only person I like is Cameron's husband Court because he can laugh at how short he is compared to his wife. The rest of them? Heinous people. 1. Especially Kary. Good lord. Evil. Dark. Nasty. She has a real mean streak to her. I don't want to watch someone like that at all. 2. And Brandi? What trash. The red wig suited her though. A sort of Morgan Brittany vibe to her. The way those two desecrated Southfork should be a cardinal sin for anyone who loves soaps. Don't they realize but for the pop culture juggernaut of Dallas nobody would give a solitary f*ck about that city? 3. D'Andra is incredibly dull without her incredibly entertaining mother, Miss Dee Simmons. 4. Tiffany Moon...well...after reading all of TT's gossip...not sure about her. 5. Stephanie did nothing this season. At least Travis admitted to watching Dallas. The end credits for each of the cast demonstrated that this entire season was about nothing and nothing but manufactured nonsense happened with a bunch of dumb, unlikeable, shallow, vulgar people.
  12. Happy for LVP and really curious to see how they reboot it!
  13. Carrie Ann is taking a leave of absence from the show... https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-9513977/Carrie-Ann-Inaba-taking-leave-absence-Talk-focus-being.html
  14. I enjoyed the ATL reunion tonight. However, do I think the cast needs a reshuffle? Desperately.
  15. That was the worst Oscar telecast ever. What a boring mess.
  16. I loved that Lauren Bacall story - and her statement about love not being possessive - what a fabulous woman and what a loss to her family and friends.
  17. Thank you for posting - it feels VERY Bethenny Ever After & RHONY in its production values in that the show seems to be more about Bethenny than the competition to work for her, so for me it only has a hint of the Apprentice...which let's not forget, Bethenny was on when Martha Stewart hosted it.
  18. They likely do not make a guarantee of exact pay. A range is not out of the ordinary. As well, Corday is working with a budget in mind, so Corday would have reasonable knowledge of what kind of money he'd be working with overall - the talent budget is only a part of the overall production budget, and note that Deadline said If-Come deals were being made with 'key' cast members - not everyone. There is likely talent who will be given 'take it or leave it' deals if the show is renewed and others who Corday does not feel need to be secured in advance.
  19. None of the cast members are on contract anymore. An "If-Come" deal is essentially a contract that says if a deal is reached with the studio that the contract will be picked up - think of it like a pre-planned contract that is contingent on something else (Sony and NBC reaching a deal) happening. You say they can walk - but for most of the cast - to where? To what? Options within daytime are very limited and outside of daytime it's even more competitive.
  20. Note that Deadline says it doesn't generate profit for Sony - not NBC. NBC is of course making money off of ad revenue for DAYS - if they didn't they'd swiftly cancel it. Sony doesn't make a profit off of the US license fee - which is why they need to sell the show overseas more than they had been (which was a big part of the Corday lawsuit).
  21. Thank you for posting that. It does give me a slight bit of hope that this is a negotiation that got pushed back due to Covid-19 and is proceeding as normal. I sure hope so - I'd like to see DAYS get some stabilization with a 2 year renewal but I don't envision NBC and Sony agreeing to that. We wait and see I suppose.
  22. The death of Darlene Conley was really the mortal wound to B&B that it's never recovered from and I'm not so sure anyone at CBS/Bell ever quite realized it. The lack of a B storyline, let alone a C storyline, has really hurt the show. What's so surprising to me is for a show with such a stable producing and writing team that the tone and style of the show has had so many incarnations over the years. You would never know that the same man has been at the helm for 30 years + years.
  23. I am 100% watching purely for the ability to trash Erika at every opportunity. I hope this season is full of schadenfreude - if any of the allegations about her or Girardi are even halfway accurate they have earned this disgrace. That's what I loved about the early seasons of BH when all these small societal slights and their spending spoke volumes about who some of them really were.
  24. What terrible news - she was a fabulous actress. I first saw her in a PBS Mystery movie called Dead Gorgeous circa 2002. She was sublime and I'd been a fan ever since.
  25. That episode of the podcast was so funny - "OR WHAT?" *Cookie Monster Voice* - I was rolling. Danny is a joy. That photograph illustrates another issue he raised - that it's obvious Erika has run out of cash and has no glam squad because her makeup is so poorly blended. Look at that line of demarcation at her temple and along her hairline. Mikey Minden would never.
