  1. SLC Heather’s dress is the only one that isn’t embarrassing.
  2. Give these two heroes, icons, and legends the Order of Australia. I love them.
  3. I so enjoy Jackee on the show. I just wanted her to slap Johnny herself.
  4. A stroke can be truly devastating. Death, in Betty's case, was likely a merciful release. She never would have wanted a diminished quality of life. Dame Joan Collins too.
  5. People Magazine is reporting he was found dead in his hotel bed by housekeeping after he didn't check out of the hotel on time. I am so sad at Bob Saget's loss. I loved him.
  6. That's how I feel about Mary. Plus she has atrocious grammar.
  7. 100% perfectly put @Cat I cannot stand the arrogance of this prick. Joker is an apt nickname indeed.
  8. I do have to wonder if they're 'on contract' for SAG health insurance purposes or if it's a contract without any episode guarantee, just an agreed price per episode?
  9. RHOC The visual evolution of Noella:
  10. Betty White was a gloriously talented comedic actress, whose warmth shone through every performance. And of course her menacing performance on B&B was a late in life flash of brilliance: She enjoyed an unparalleled television career. To be in her 100th year is an incredible life. May her memory be a blessing.
  11. I am so impressed with Krista Allen's portrayal of Taylor. Her take on the character is so relaxed and easy going, she has really taken the character into a natural direction that was missing the last few times the character has been on canvas. I enjoy Brooke and Deacon together...but whew those flashbacks are rough on KKL because her amount of filler use is evident: she's added a lot of volume to her face that looks unnatural. Meanwhile, Kimberlin Brown looks great, like the scheming Sheila of the 90s, all because she's done very little.
  12. Vivian helping Laura fake her own death would make sense since both were in the same mental hospital in the mid 90s, one helped the other when there was a fire at the institution (can’t recall who helped whom), and they both hate Kate.
  13. I love that Joan would use her imperious diva powers for good, looking out for a young actress, and showing a hint of her maternal side by ordering the Regular Coke.
  14. I respectfully, disagree, I enjoyed the cameo from Eileen. I did not get the impression that Eric was at all tempted by her, but she highlights Eric's struggle with being a priest and a sexual person. The exorcism was too fast, and they could have incorporated some Latin and a bit more of that wind machine, it could have been bigger. Props to Drake for continuing to play this dead seriously. Question: when did DAYS repaint the Horton House set and Marlena's apartment to that same violet/grey tone? It's really odd against the lighting.
  15. Tracy Scoggins tells a wonderful little story about Joan that speaks to who I think she really is beneath all the glamour:
  16. I am glad they at least mentioned her absence in the episode because her presence was missed. She has definitely been there the last few years. I think 2019/18 for sure.
  17. B&B sounds lightyears better than Y&R. I have been able to watch the soaps over the last few days and Y&R is so dull and lifeless - compare any episode from the 90s to what’s on the air and you would not think they are the same show. It is in a major holding pattern.
  18. RHOC Before anyone feels too bad for Noella...how you meet 'em is how you leave 'em:
  19. I was able to watch the show on Friday and I appreciate that Corday is always going to get the scene with the Hortons hanging their ornaments, with lingering shots on each one, come hell or high water. The camp with John fighting the Devil is, of course, hammy and insane...but I liked it a lot. To make this kind of camp work, the actors have to take it dead seriously and Drake commits to these kinds of scenes and he makes them work.
  20. RHOC Heather had a monologue moment in the episode last night and while it was very reminiscent of something Erica Kane might have done in how melodramatic it was, I am loving watching Heather, Gina, and Emily all come for Shannon. Shannon has had this coming for years. Noelle having a meltdown in that restaurant was embarrassing and I do not fault Nicole for wanting to get her out of there. Dr. Jen is a bit dull, but seeing Noella roll her eyes at her hints at major conflict to come.
  21. It is true. We are at the point where the suffering by those who have made the responsible decisions like getting vaccinated, getting boosted, wearing masks, washing hands regularly, and being smart about their social interactions have paid a much higher price than many of those who have not. That is what is so wrong - it is like being in a group project where not everyone pulls their weight - some of the lazy and irresponsible pay little, while some pay with their lives. One thing is certain: lower quality of life is a very real thing. This road is long and I am hopeful that Omicron may prove to be milder in actual symptoms, which could hasten the end of this hell. I am also hopeful that at home medication treatment will expand. But do I think NYE in Times Square moving ahead is a smart decision...No. It is not. In the meantime, everyone needs to stay safe and stay well.
  22. Lucas does not need to be recast. Bryan Datillo owns that part. Luckily, Kate still has good 'ol Austin. Not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but never a psycho.
