Agreed.Also,there seems to have been nothing shocking between 1947 and the 80's.

Salem Strangler was on the whole an exciting and well plotted story and a first for daytime. Salem Slasher,however was a poor imitation and the beginning of Days excursion into far fetched and poorly written 'mysteries'.This involved identical cousins and masks where someone of a completely different build could fall everyone by virtue of an amazing lifelike mask.

Nice article.That's the first I've ever read or seen of him. He looks like Jack Betts in some photos.

It says something about the show that apart from Mary and Larry,Marcia was the longest serving cast member.
