  1. Why is a different opinion from yours wrong? Are you Dorit? lol. @Nothin'ButAttitude thinks differently about this show than I do right now, but that's the nature of this thread and indeed this entire ridiculous franchise. Live and let live. RHoBH: Dorit and her Dick-Van-Dyke-in-Mary-Poppins accent need to pipe the heck down. Why is she going after Erika and Eileen/Rinna? To please LVP? Of all the issues to blow out of proportion tho. Pantygate makes PK look like a greasy old perv (something his appearance does nothing to dissuade) and Dorit was a complete clown when she tried to 'embarrass' Erika and then go after Eileen at Camille's brunch. The mourning issue makes both of them look terrible. Jesus, leave grieving people in peace! The audience is clearly going to side with the grieving party. PK seems desperate for a HW spot even worse than Peachter! LVP defends Dorit/PK in her blog this week. The way she phrased it as 'British humor' confirms my (and possibly some of the audience's) suspicions after all these years of being told that LVP 'throws the rock but hides the hand.' I never, ever thought I would believe the self-serving nonsense jealous Kyle and Adrienne served up in S2 when they tried to ambush LVP, but now it is sinking in. LVP is making her scheming too obvious, and it is playing right into Eileen/Rinna/Erika's hands. Especially Erika, who I suspect will be coming out on top by the end of this season. What else happened? I fear this is becoming another one-issue season. Oh, yes! Eden Sassoon seemed a cool addition to the show.
  2. I'm guessing that all those size 0 exorbitantly priced jeans Melissa ordered for herself didn't fly off the shelves! So Jackie Robinson, the REAL owner, shut that mess down, and now Kim D is going to be giving them away at a massive markdown on Saturday. That old witch must be cackling with glee and triumph! Oh well. I'm sure Melissa can fall back on her illustrious singing/marriage advice career. ... oh wait...
  3. Welp RHoNJ fans: looks like ENVY won't be happening next season (if there is a next season). Poor Melissa will have to find a new SL. What new career will she pretend to have next?? (And the fact that the ENVY owner is liquidating all stock at Kim D's Posche store must really sting!) http://www.realitytea.com/2017/01/03/melissa-gorgas-business-partner-packs-envy-boutique-selling-inventory-posche-kim-depaola/
  4. Well, both of you summed up the reason I can't watch M2M lol. I found it overly scripted, badly acted and just... mediocre and embarrassing. It was somewhat entertaining seeing Kari act the part of Alexis Colby in an amateur theatre production of Dynasty. But Toyah was so budget. The two doctors who shared a practice seemed to be on another show altogether (probably a better one). Mariah was desperately scratching around for a pot to stir but the others were giving her nothing. Hearing that Quad was being promoted as the 'star' of S2 and S3 (I'm guessing she eventually pushed MH out) sealed it for me. I can't think of a more boring, fake-ass figurehead. Absolutely RHoA would be a giant step up for Mariah. She'd get a vacation out of it, too. I'd like to see Quad + Heavenly's faces if M2M got cancelled AND Mariah got onto RHOA tbh!
  5. Ahh I see ok. Interesting that she went for her own show where she could be the HBIC and have producing control (like Kyle on BH and Bethenny on NY). Now that she's been forced off that show, would she be willing to play second fiddle to the other giant egos on RHOA? Hmm.
  6. This is so juicy! I couldn't get into M2M beyond S1 (sorry), but if anybody is dying to hold a peach, it is that sh*t-stirring drama queen Mariah (in TayShanna tradition, should we call her MarKeisha?) Huq! As long as she doesn't bring her ma (tho I know Andy would have an orgasm just thinking about Mama Joyce vs. Momma Lucy). If Nene returned, I wouldn't mind Mariah on RHoA. Mariah is actually a match for slippery Phaedra. I know Kandi says she will "go there," but Mariah actually COULD and WOULD go there and have Phaedra on notice. I also think they need to keep Cynthia (as friend to both Nene and Kenya) and drop Sheree. Her return as a HW hasn't really worked for me. She feels more like a FOH.
  7. She did. According to Tamara Tattles, LuAnn scored a People magazine exclusive for the wedding pics. She told Andy she didn't want Bravo to film it because scripted drama disrupting her wedding, and apparently Andy is fine with it. I'm sure she will give RHONY wedding footage they can use. In any case, there will be a NYC wedding celebration filmed with all the cast. Likely Bethenny, Carole, Ramona and Sonja were not invited to the real wedding, especially the way they treated Lu last season and at Reunion. And I can't blame LuAnn for wanting only solid friends and family (and People) around. Dorinda is a bridesmaid tho, and Jill & Bobby and Cynthia Bailey and Kelly Bensimon (!!!! May she never return to RH!!!) are part of the wedding party.
  8. Maybe it is Eden. It might explain why Eden wasn't given a diamond rgis season and made into a full cast member. You know how Bravo likes to make like it doesn't 'tolerate' this behaviour blah blah. One of the conditions for Kim to remain a HW was that she stay sober, which is why she went nutso whenever somebody "questioned my sobriety" publicly and the Richards' sisters bent over backwards to sweep things under the carpet. Potato Chip is also the likeliest candidate. Don't think it is Kyle, LVP, Eileen, or even Lisa Rinna or Erika but wow it would be a shock if it was the latter two. They are full of energy but also incredibly focused and (mostly) incredibly composed.
  9. I remember Kim in the season 4 finale telling Kyle the same thing "She loves, Ken, she loves Pandora [what about Max???], she loves her dogs...and that's about the end of it." Certainly I think LVP gets along with men generally more than women, having worked in a perhaps male-dominated field. There are times at Reunions where she genuinely does not understand the outpouring of emotion (and victim-playing) that goes on, and the constant need for validation by the other HWs. I'd even say that every once in a while, this 'need for validation' is actually play-acting by some of the HWs in order to try and get the audience to feel sorry for them and view LVP as cruel. And sharp-eyed LVP can smell that BS a mile away. However, I don't think she doesn't care. If anything, I think LVP would love to be more embraced by the other women. This was especially clear at the start of this season, at Erika's 45th birthday. Lisa wanted to join in the dancing, but she hesitated. I think she was worried she'd get the cold shoulder on the dance floor. She'd rather be the one to give the cold shoulder! She also needs a woman to be with her if the other women are going to stand against her. And then there is her relationship with Kyle. Even being hurt by Kyle (or vice versa), LVP still somewhat prioritises this friendship. Some would say it is for the sake of the cameras, but these two women are the OGs of this show and were friends long before the show. I also believe LVP cared about Brandi, but that ended up a hot mess after hatchet-faced Yolanda got in there, bought Brandi a new living room set and some fancy shoes, and Brandi essentially became her flying monkey. Since then, LVP has become increasingly cautious and pro-active when it comes to the show. I think it is also worth mentioning that the HWs do not represent womanhood in general, even though some people think they do! Most women I know are not money-grubbing drama queens with a mentality stuck in middle school who constantly bitch against other females they view as competition! Perhaps there is more to LVP outside of RHoBH than her onscreen personality -- and maybe that includes female friendships too. ETA: One of LVP's best gifs regarding what female friendships are about on this show:
  10. Yep! I already feel like this season's BH is letting me down a wee bit. I know it's early days, but last year was such a sh*tshow and everybody was in some way tarnished by it. I just can't buy some of the light-hearted stuff like I used to. Also PK is gross and Dorit is... eh. She's ok in some instances, but she's trying too hard. And their house with zero kitchen utensils is clearly empty and rented for the purposes of this show, lol. If the fight of the season is whether or not PK spotted Pat-the-Puss then pls give me more Delilah and Amelia Grey Hamlin's talking heads! I still don't think they should be models in any way, shape or form -- but I did enjoy them shading their embarrassing mom! Wow, it seems everybody hated Kandi for coming for Phaedra, and people felt bad for Phaedra! Serves me right for watching RHoA while doing my Christmas card list. I should have concentrated better on the episode. I assumed Phae finally getting exposed was a long time coming, but I guess Kandi shot herself in the foot by having Don Juan and Mama Joyce be her mouthpieces up until now. It looked cowardly. Now she's being all 'I'm telling it like it is' and laying the groundwork to go after Phaedra, and it shows. Nobody likes a HW obviously trying to set up another HW. Sheree is dumb and ridiculous and I had forgotten just how bad she was, but now I remember. Interesting that the show is busy promoting Kairo -- Sheree's daughter just got accepted by Howard University, but that hasn't received as much coverage as Kairo's pretty face.
  11. THIS. My father would have no patience for a grown man throwing a temper tantrum, and would prob have refused to see him at that point. No parent wants to see their child treated with disrespect, either. I get that Matt is angry at Kenya for whatever reason he's blown up in his mind as this big thing, but when a parent comes to town, you shut the f*ck up, paste a fake-ass smile on your face, pretend everything is copacetic with your partner in public, and suck it up for a few hours! Like the rest of us! I have been waiting for Phaedra to be exposed for years now -- and for Kandi to do the exposing. For a clever 'lawyer,' Phaedra sure did miscalculate what it might mean to piss off friends like Kandi who know where some of the bodies are buried.
  12. omg! Thanks for the compliment -- and the bday wishes!
  13. Well i didn't want to be mean.... They look like normal teenagers to me (see below), and the younger one (on the right) is still um growing into her face. The eldest (left) looks like a lot of girls her age I see IRL. When Yolanda first came on BH, I could see why a young Gigi at the time was being tapped for a modelling career. Her face had all the right angles, proportions and cheekbones, and she also had an 80s supermodel body -- tall and slim and amazonian. I don't see that 'model' look with them.
  14. Oh. I forgot to mention This is going to sound mean but... does anybody think Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin's daughters are going to become the next Gigi and Bella Hadid of the modeling world? I mean, they are cute young teens, but not model material, surely? I can see why Gigi and even Kendall Jenner are models but these young girls... Am I missing something? Going blind? I can't see it.
  15. RHoBH: What to think about LVP's comment about Vince with his head up another woman's skirt? First of all, Vince comes across a little douchey to me and not really into his marriage with Eileen, but regardless. The comment doesn't reflect well on LVP -- **IF** LVP wants to stay the sweet animal-saving heroine of this show to her legion of fans. Which I don't think she does anymore. I think she is revelling in playing the wicked witch right now! And this is a HUGE relief because she cannot make the case of being the innocent party last season like she could in Season 5. I love LVP but last season made everybody look bad under YolandaStalin's rule. And that's ok. I can embrace the real LVP. I don't need her to be Mother Theresa. The only problem is, Eileen is going to milk this comment for the whole season. Good luck getting an apology for that, Eileen! LVP is also tapping on something she started last season which is... that Vince may be a cheater. That's the 'intent' that Eileen was upset about last season, and probably one she wants to avoid coming out in the open this season. My speculation. Eileen is going to have to buckle up and just keep being an icy bitch back to LVP. I actually think LVP prefers her interaction with Eileen when Eileen is sparring with her. It makes Eileen seem less humorless. Meanwhile, while Eileen keeps LVP occupied for now, Erika will be aiming to sneak in and steal LVP's crown! LVP vs Erika is the match to watch. Maybe not this season... but possibly next. LVP and Erika are frenemies right now but they also know they are each other's biggest rival. And Erika knows it is best she not confront Lisa directly. As predicted. Lisa Rinna sidled right up to LVP to beg her forgiveness and try to get into her good books. Spineless! Last season Kyle had LVP's back so I guess she feels she has a free pass to be a total bitch about her this season, especially since the other ladies are not really LVP's best friends. Kyle feels she is LVP's only close friend, that LVP is isolated form the group, and that gives Kyle leverage. I don't know who is dressing Lisa or doing her hair, but they need to be fired, and that bumpit needs to be burned! Two episodes in, and I'm still flummoxed why tomboy Kathryn was sidelined for this vapid Dorito chick. I don't even care why she has an accent, but the fact she called her kid Jagger says to me she thinks it makes her look 'cool' and 'edgy.' No, it doesn't, it makes you look ridiculous, dear. I knew I'd seen her husband somewhere before -- now I remember: Paul Kemsley used to own Tottenham Hotspur football club in London. The football business in the UK is ROLLING in money but also extremely, extremely dirty. He was also involved in some shady financial stuff that played a part in the 2008 financial meltdown and lost (or nearly lost) people their pensions. He eventually pleaded bankruptcy and got off without so much as a slap on the wrist. He is tight with tycoons like Mike Ashley and Sir Philip Green who also have some unsavoury business practices on their records. I cannot imagine how this is going to play here in the UK when this show finally gets shown! With all the money and mansions and expensive gifts. But he is entertaining in his particular way of being a working-class-made-good, North London geezer.
  16. Wow. 3 episodes into Season 3, and Caroline Fleming has become an actual human being. It is clear that her family never gave her much affection. I also like that she's the one trying to get Caroline Stanbury to stop being a total b!tch. Caroline S's attitude at Mapperton was stank. There was a moment when she talked about growing up in that aristo environment, and how it was like a noose around her neck, and I sort of understood why she has taken against Julie who has embraced that life. Julie seemed to lean in and understand where Caroline was coming from. Unfortunately, egged on by her 'service b!tch' Juliet, Caroline reverted back to her usual rudeness shtick. Juliet is so jealous of the other Americans (Marissa, Julie) who have 'done better' than her, and that's why she is encouraging the enmity between Caroline and Julie. Caroline F was right. It wasn't about rebelling against rules and regulations, it was about Juliet and Caroline S having no manners or respect.
  17. I forgot to add about Matt. He is immature and insecure and that, coupled with some alcohol and anger management issues, is not a good combination. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt that he has bad moods. But he needs to dial it back because he seems ready to snap to anger in an instant whenever we see him. If he's going to do this over a remote control for the garage, what's he going to do when Kenya finally changes the locks? Nevermind the physical aspect -- a relationship with all this emotional fighting and shouting is toxic and leaves both people unhappy. Perhaps best to nip this in the bud if this is the pattern. Also didn't like that Kenya called HIM after he'd kicked in her window. He should be calling her to apologize! After he begs her to give him another chance, she tells him the production crew are there. So why, when he drove over, did he have a tantrum about the cameras being around?
  18. I know what you mean Cheap. But then this happens: BB COMEBACK: I think FXXK IT is a lowkey bop, and I like it. Last Dance is a typical ballad from YG but Korea loves those ballads. Plus GD has never looked better as in Last Dance, and the final shot on TOP is very moving. I want to shave Taeyang's hair off tho. Ugh! Sort your hair out dude! Stop killing the hot!
  19. Yeah, I think Cheap said it all, it's the fact that she's stopped being so mean and bitter about Todd and is focusing her attentions on a worthy target -- Phaedra. Mama Joyce may be gross and vile, but Phaedra is much more than that. She make speak well, but she has done vile things to innocent people out in the real world -- thieving things.
  20. @Cheap21 @Nothin'ButAttitude Phaedra has huge platform (upwards of 1 million people watch RHoA LIVE every week -- that figure surely trebles with those DVRing the show), but unfortunately she is subduing the powerful message of BLM and using it for her own tawdry gain. Phaedra has been shoring up political connections for years, especially now that she has three or more people in prison taking the fall for her fraudulent schemes and probably ready to talk to the Feds (who I am sure have been compiling some kind of dossier of evidence against her for a while). She is trying to protect herself by piggybacking a politically-influential movement and making connections with long-standing politicians in Georgia. LBR Mama Joyce knows what she is talking about. Phaedra is a charlatan and has been ripping off older people for years, possibly via her church-and-sermon work initially. The mortuary business was meant to be a cover for that and a way to use dead people's social security numbers in fraudulent schemes. Bravo doesn't want to discuss the subject but Mama Joyce is bringing this out in the open so that it DOES become a talking point on the show. Mama Joyce has balls of steel. I am loving her this season!
  21. Going into RHoBH I had lost the love for LVP. However, the moment I heard Vanderpump purrrrrr with rrrrrrrrrrrelish over her line about leaving the crown where it belongssssss, I was hooked. Erika was all over her tagline, too. TBH judging by the credits alone, all these women sound like they have upped their cigarette intake and put on some pounds (except for Rinna, obvs). Not that it looks bad on them! Erika has that sexy bombshell thing going on, and LVP is the sultry siren. Kyle is def getting in on some caboose action too lol. Erika seems to be trying to warm up her ice queen image -- she was a lot warmer and friendlier onscreen this episode than the whole last season. Did you guys know that Eileen is the oldest of the current HWs? I was surprised when I read that. LVP is over a year younger than Eileen. Eileen has had great work done. I just hope she dials it back on the snarling rottweiler this season. I got her points last season but her delivery was awful towards the end. LVP turning her back on Eileen was lololol, esp with Kristen DiMera looming over LVP's shoulder. I wonder if Lisa will ice Eileen out of the show by the end of the season. Not sure about Dorit. I miss Kathryn tbh. She was fired too quickly! Oh, Kyle has been a shady inauthentic tryhard since Season 1 -- she actively pitted Taylor against LVP and encouraged the enmity. I guess it made her feel powerful? With Kyle it has always been a mix of jealousy, low self-esteem, and social climbing (brown-nosing the even richer girls like Adrienne). I do think LVP is manipulative and I am watching her with trepidation this season, but I feel for her with a 'friend' like Kyle. Kyle constantly bitches against Lisa, but when Lisa is (rightfully) hurt, Kyle yells at her that she 'can't take a joke,' 'holds a grudge,' 'never lets it go.' Kyle is a feckless friend.
  22. I know, I don't understand why they are cutting down on the specially composed background music for the show. I always knew by the music who was going to be on screen even before they appeared. I remember Kim Z got some farty sounding music that weirdly fit her perfectly. I also love the final music they play at the end of BH and OC each season when they are going through what each woman has 'learnt' from the season. I find that music lowkey moving actually.
  23. Oh, I admit -- I love ragging on her! She'd sell her sister down the river if it meant a step up the social-climbing ladder and acceptance by the Rich Girls. Plus when she gets to play victim, it's her big 'This isn't about YOU, LEEE-SA! This is about ME!" spotlight moment. Kyle is extremely transparent. RHoA: Is anybody buying Phaedra's Phoundation? She is piggy-backing on Black Lives Matter in order to clean up her tarnished reputation. I can't believe security was so lax at the DNC that she and Poorsha were able to sneak in! I did feel bad about the bomb threat, but I have to ask what Phaedra may or may not have done to incite bomb threats? Is this what happens when you hang with dodgy types and get involved with scams? Mama Joyce is fun (in small doses) but referring to her daughter's hoo-ha as a "rusty pipe"? TMI. Mama Joyce is better off giving shade rather than being Kandi's sex therapist. I'm also not sure I needed to see allllll of that scene between Kandi and Todd but, hey, it's not like we get to see a ton of AA love scenes on TV as it is. Kairo is literally the spitting image of Bob Whitfield. I have to admit I liked the discussion Bob and Sheree had with him. I used to be virulently anti-drugs, including pot, growing up. But after hearing about its medicinal purposes in recent years, especially for chemo patients and people with high anxiety, I have to wonder if we are penalizing the wrong kinds of drug use. I'm not sure Kairo was so ready to lay off the recreational pot use with his friends though. Seeing Cynthia's new lake house was a nice change of pace, and felt fun and light-hearted. Atlanta is still in its early episodes so it's not really reached its full momentum. I also feel like it is experimenting with a different feel (certainly the background music has felt different in these few episodes) and maybe more producer involvement in the show. So much of it feels scripted at the moment.
  24. Since we were talking about Kyle this w/e -- a little something to whet your appetites for tonight:
  25. Here I am! I thought nothing could beat Lisa's amazing "Throw me to the wolves, and I shall return leading the pack" tag from Season 6, but this one is pretty close! I was getting tired of the diamonds and rosé stuff because I think we are all aware that LVP is a master operator bts and on screen. The others are ok. Could have been worse. Erika's is clever. IA with everybody who finds Kyle's uninspired. But then again, without her sister drama, what else is there to talk about with Kyle? Her tags have always been some variation of "I'm from BH; I know what's real and what's fake; I am also the luckiest girl in this town!" One of these days, they are going to run out of lucky/fake/BH puns and start referencing the hair ("My hair may be long -- ooo! -- but, like me, it's 99% real!"). I am rewatching S7 in anticipation; it's not quite as bad as I initially remembered. My love for both LVP and Eileen took such a blow last year, and I was worried I wouldn't be able to enjoy watching them again. I still think Yol should have stayed to face the music this season but perhaps the one I'm most disappointed about leaving is Kathryn. She wasn't that bad, guys! In fact, she was nice, normal, a tomboy, and desperate for the other women's friendship. I think she added a different vibe that wasn't all about toxicity and manipulating the audience but lol I know I'm alone in thinking that.
