  1. I have no idea about most of this, but none of it makes sense. What someone said. I thought they all know Sheila shot multiple people. And of course, it's LA so it's a third world country. No cameras anywhere, you know. Especially not at a seedy disgusting restaurant like Il Jardine or whatever. You know, for them to have caught her shooting multiple people on a camera. ANYWHO - the one day I did tune in for about 10 minutes I saw something with Steffy saying Hope is looking at Thomas with longing or something.... I have no idea. But that's old and stale - again. Nothing interests me really on the show anymore. Sheila probably brought back Ridge herself, and is actually playing Bill and the FBI for a fool....and this isn't Ridge but an evil twin or a robot or something stupid. Because Sheila knows all. She's an all knowing Sheila and all times. That's why the character is stupid now. It doesn't matter if you put her in jail because she built all jails and pays all the employees herself. LOLLLL.
  2. He still looked like the Abbott pool boy, which I can't remember, must have been the storyline in the late 80's. His former wife had him in a cage soon thereafter - the one with the fabulous long hair. Lisa Mansfield?
  3. Why in the &uck is it so important for these people to NOT get a damned shot? Like the President should have TIME to decide to confirm whether a Tennis player can or cannot travel by a &ucking boat? This is what Ron Desatan wants to spend time on. Antivaxxers, drag queens, guns, mess with Disney, whatever. Just whatever Ron. We are TENNIS fans and get this - WE STILL DO NOT CARE whether Novak is HERE or NOT HERE. What is so difficult to understand here? He knows what he needs to do but keeps *ucking around. Get the shot! Or don't! But you're not going to just do whatever the hell you feel like, whenever you feel like. Go home, go on vacation....OR NOT. WE. Don't. CARE. LOL.
  4. Every Sheila story has always been about blackmail. And there are numerous others - like Sheila devouring Taylor because Bill will send Taylor to jail. It’s what makes it so stupid - after all the manipulation and grand genius of Sheila, she would just say - eh? Meh. Meh, Bill is meh. The reason she’s not in jail is a guy who is meh in 1 week. So dumb.
  5. Trying to watch live, but....it takes a lot. When did Sheila become the most gorgeous woman in the world? That men are pining over her - what's her job, where's her money, what about her whole....life? Painful. There's suspending disbelief and then there's....this. Mess. Second, how many times are they going to do the story of again-redeemed Thomas has to "save the line" with his world famous designs? I just can't.
  6. Well the ring is a nice size, LOL. I really like Asscher cut or Pear though. ahahahahahaha.
  7. The Alcaraz Fognini match was decent. I happened to see it hahaha.
  8. I didn't see it but it sounds about what they will do. I would guess that Sheila either shoves him off and then teleports to the bottom of the cliff to catch him, thus being a "good person" now, or some nonsense. Someone shoves the kid off, but Sheila saves him, instantly a good person again. It'll be something stupid. Or, Thomas will convince him to jump for Daddy to catch him a few feet down or something, and then Thomas will spin it that Douglas jumped or fell off, and this proves it's an unsafe place for him to live. yadda yadda.
  9. I tuned in briefly yesterday and was interested in the Douglas story - but God Hope is so whiny. How are you going to tell another adult to put the smack down on a kid’s decision when it was - his decision? Steffy is a far better choice than Thomas. At the very least it would make sense to at least be glad about that. The Sheila stuff is - who cares? I saw some pining away by Deacon. Like WTF? I couldn’t care less about anything Sheila. The only possible interest (but it’s so obvious) is Brooke/Taylor uniting to destroy her once and for all. But that idea is out the window because B&B has made itself reliant on Sheila and she can never die. So there’s zero interest there.
  10. This Duke of Hastings Can bang me anytime. Oui oui.
  11. That old commercial - I'm not going to age gracefully, I'm going to fight every step of the way! Well, she did. And her face looks like the battleground. Don't you just wonder? Do they sign a waiver? You acknowledge that something bad could happen, and that you're admitting before it does - that you'll sign on to fix whatever mistake was made....and I'll likely make more mistakes. And I'll cut you again to fix it, likely making it worse. Sign right here on the dotted line, and we'll get started. Thanks.
  12. I don't know anything about the case (Kyrgios), but interesting. The way it's described in the article makes it open for me - either way. I don't like Nick K. and I think he's a hot head, doesn't surprise me if he was physically abusive. On the other hand though - this sounds typical for a girl trying to stop a guy from leaving. Like it or not, it happens. And when a guy says he's leaving - let him go. If he called himself an Uber, or got in his car - you don't stand in front of it to keep someone from leaving. (Isn't that kidnapping or fall under it or something - holding you against your will?)?? So - I don't know enough. But I've been on both sides of it actually and had a guy come for me saying I was physically abusive. I'd had a verbal altercation with him and over the period of 2 hours begged him to leave my house. He just would not. I shoved him out the door, and then he went around spouting I had physically abused him. (Now, I'm 5'5" and 145 pounds. He was 6'2" and 210 and the 'top'). LOLLLLL. So.
  13. Thanks - I was going to say - I do remember them being funny and somewhat light. Kind of similar to sometimes on Guiding Light where Rick and Buzz had scenes - which I don't remember to be often but.
  14. Gosh watching the clip above brings back such good memories of ATWT. Out of all the characters that were re-cast over the years, really ATWT did very well with Tom and Margo. I loved Justin Deas and Margaret Colin as Tom and Margo. And I loved others as well (well, one exception, Glynis O'Connor - think I got that correct - terrible recast). But otherwise, the Margos and Toms were pretty good. Loved Ellen Dolan and Scott Holmes, and loved of course Hilary Smith and Greg Marx. This clip brought back great memories - I started watching ATWT around this time, fighting for the TV with my sister who watched One Life to Live.
  15. And to add to that era - that little snippet really - you could have put a camera on any one of the girls in that era and you're going to catch something. You really would. But - to add on top of it, Hingis' usual bitchy comments that were tossed about....(so I wouldn't say that these girls today couldn't hang with such comments and behavior - I think they probably could, but the world has changed.) - but I remember Hingis' famous bashing of Mauresmo - saying she was playing half of a man. And a lot of the fans (I was one) - who disliked Hingis - for the simple fact that all she really had was consistency. She didn't have a big weapon of any kind. She had consistency, which was something we saw more of throughout the 70's and 80's as providing a way to win for a lot of girls. Hey, I'm a Chrissie fan, but I realize she didn't have a weapon really - she had the backhand and mental toughness, and consistency (you could argue her PLACEMENT of serve), but she didn't have a weapon really. Oddly, Chrissie would serve as Martina's mentor for a couple of years. But, long post, toss in Hingis's nasty comments from time to time and get out the popcorn. And she would kind of pass the bitchy torch to Henin.
  16. Ah, that's the one. What I felt like was that - at least they're making the show look exciting. And they still had some of our veterans in it too. The music was upbeat, interesting. And I liked the very ending of the music in the opening credits, very easy to take a snippet of it, slow it down, make it sad for music effect during the show.
  17. To me, Rybakina had a really tough trip to the final. That was not an easy quarter to come out of. Sabalenka has shown promise for years and has over the years, beaten some very good players. I don't think the women's final is that bad. What it does underline for me is that Keys is likely won't be winning a Slam, because for a while it was literally almost there for the taking. I'm having doubts about Gauff as well - there comes a point where you have to admit she's no longer the 15, 16, 17, 18 year young prodigy. By no means is it too late, but when you reach 19 years old, if you're going to take control the way so many Women Champion did - it's time. And I said that last year. I do think she's going to win some Slams, but it's not going to be the 12, 15, 18 slams that we might have thought. And what's puzzling is the feeling that - why not? There doesn't SEEM to be anyone THERE. Weird.
  18. I liked the theme that was just before the non-theme (the one before the last just title/nothing). The one that looks like midwest with a more Indiana Jones feel LOL.
  19. I wondered when Vika would become Vika again. So that happened.
  20. I saw bits and pieces of the Rybakina and Ostapenko match....funny. Nothin's changed since the last time I saw Ostapenko. Complaining about every call practically...and I know it's happened before but someone (was that Stubbs?) mentioned, even with the automated line calls she still says it's incorrect.
  21. My gym (a very expensive one) - basically ditched all of their basketball courts - indoor - very nice - 3 of them. for 6 or 9 pickleball courts instead, and they are always busy. I don't mean to be mean, but.....well, maybe I do. And I say this from experience. I come from a gigantic gaggle of volleyball and tennis players as friends. Played volleyball at the Open level for many years. Well, as we've aged....... All of them now play pickleball. It's another cult activity like volleyball was. I'm being totally honest. They are ATE UP with it as we country folk would say. And I mean ATE 8 UP with it. So - again not to be mean, but it's another sport for fat people to think they're workin' out. So many of the people at the gym, you can tell - no athletic ability whatsoever in the case of my gym - so they're not going to be great players. But they have the best time from what I see - and they come out talking about what a GREAT workout that was! And they stood there swinging a paddle for about 30 minutes due to the court time booking. There's not a ton of running because of the space, honestly. And it's not like you're jumping to the moon like you would in volleyball. I think it's a farce. But switch gears back to my competitive friends, and they're ALL up in the $200 and $300 pickleball paddles. I laugh at them and have made my feelings known. Ok y'all. It's not a better paddle. It's not versitile. It's not more "meneuverable". It's not more more more more BETTER because of all the kevlar in it. What are you going to do, hit someone with it? That's why it's $300 and is BUILT TO LAST!?? Um, WHAT? It's a paddle y'all. And should cost about $20. And to prove it, tell me the rules, what do I do? Well, I played with all of my pickleball fanatic friends who are 8 UP with it, and completely kicked some of their asses. 2 of them have their Pickleball Pro card. Whatever that means. No, I'm not joking, they're certified. All that to say - it'll be popular because everyone can think they're athletic. And it's not that great, but that's just me.
  22. Yep almost kind of the same thing....crazy.
  23. I haven't seen much of it, but I'm a huge Collins fan - she's had a terrible draw. LOL. She's had probably 2 of the best unseeded players in the draw - at least one of them was capable of winning the whole thing. And her prize for a 1:00AM finish last night, is meeting Rybakina (SP?) tonight. Weird scheduling - played her first round Sunday. Then 2 days off???? Then 2nd round yesterday with a third round today? This is going to end it for her, but she played really well her first two matches.
  24. wow. I didn't know Jeanne passed....how terrible. I played Tennis just last year at the Evert Center in Ft. Lauderdale (I honestly don't know if it's still called that). But her picture was on the wall and I didn't even know.
  25. Oh I didn't plan on comparing them at all - but Scott was also hot back in the day, and was his own bad boy as well. I liked both of them too.
