I saw some of the Kyrgios match today - and I felt like I was listening to John McEnroe 5 years ago. He said something about Nick really concentrating and finally putting all of the complaining and antics to bed. Yawn, it's been said before any time he acts somewhat normal. I say just wait until the next round and 'it' will be back. I don't know if commentators don't remember things like this? But it's been said so many times in the past when he has somewhat of a 'normal' match.

So I'm a gay male. I have spent the last half hour crying. I do not know why, other than it pains me to see someone treated with less respect, and be treated truly not equal/unequal. I identify with it. And I see a group of people - Republicans in general - that somehow have the market cornered on what American means. And it disgusts me. I posted on Facebook about this decision. And said the Republican party completely disgusts me now. I already have 2 replies from people I knew in High School telling me that I'm gay - so my opinion doesn't matter because this doesn't even affect me. And to go *** my boyfriend. I didn't TAG anyone in my post, and both replied to MY post, and THEN TAGGED ME ON their page and started their OWN discussion with threats and disparaging comments. They 100% without prompting just CONFIRMED what I said in general about Republicans. It's what discrimination is. You know it's there. You KNOW it's there. And no matter how far we seem to progress, it always rears its head. I already KNEW how you felt, I just ignore it and hope I'm wrong. Well, I'm not wrong and they just proved it.

B&B June 2022 Discussion Thread
I love just reading the board. Oh it's beyond suspending belief or disbelief with this show. All of the comments - for the same reason on B&B there's actually no one in Los Angeles, traffic is never a problem, dark lonely roads at night with glowering looks over cliffsides (with no one there but the person staring into the abyss), cousin whoever from Australia who sees someone beating someone down with a TIYUH_ ION but doesn't just lay down on the horn to stop it, or drive right up to them and break it up easily - instead takes a VID-YO from her phone of it, and on and on and on and on. Too funny. Or people proclaiming what they're going to do in order to BLOW their lives up completely - RIGHT TO the said person who is known to be dangerous - instead of just going to the police with the information....or people who CONSTANTLY TEXT but then suddenly cannot figure out how to TEXT or must TELL THE PERSON IMMEDIATELY instead of texting (for no reason).....keep the list going.

That's why - tuned in for a day - and (didn't know Mike) but when I saw that, Sheila will be out of jail and everyone will be stupid. The dumbing down of everyone for the sake of Sheila brings no interest to me whatsoever. They'll probably all invite her to a big dinner party because she's done so much for everyone.

I thought....how bad could it be? I mean really? Well, my back yard is in far better shape. That's sayin' somethin'. I feel good now.

B&B June 2022 Discussion Thread
So I'm glad I didn't continue tuning in. I pretty much made that decision when Sheila turned around to a guard and called him by his name. I didn't watch back then to even know who it was - but it all boils down to the same thing. Sheila knows all and knows everyone and will get out of everything at all times - very quickly. To the stupidity of everyone/all characters. It wouldn't shock me to read that Sheila actually has the "real" Finn stowed away somewhere, and the woman (Li?)?? only thinks she has the "real" Finn. The show is beyond at some points. I said in another post a long time ago - maybe this was normal with Soaps all along (well, partially I know that to be true - suspending reality)....but I don't think it was this bad. I think I'm too old now and outgrew this kind of thing. I watch old clips of World Turns or Guiding Light and think about how we slammed the show when we thought they were bad - but damn, knowing the timeframes and things and to look at old clips I think....damn that was a company of actors. Damn that wasn't bad at all - in fact it's quite GOOD compared to this. I saw some clips of Susan and Kim on World Turns going at each other - and the Divas on a Bus scenes...things in their latter years. I don't know why I was disinterested at the time. Makes me wistful.

God Tennis really is a complete dumpster fire. Tennis channel giving the rundown of where to see matches - TC Plus, this plus, that plus, this streaming that streaming on whatever channel. It's easier now to watch Cornhole and Pickleball. ESPN covers these things. If Tennis is down, the reason is that no one airs it. And it doesn't help when NBC airs it and no one watches (that post I read above). No ones watching because everyone stopped airing it...it's almost a self-fulfilling prophecy. Outta sight outta mind.

Ugh, watched a little today. And that's enough. LOL. Was only a matter of time that Sheila knows the guard, knows the whole police force, knows the person driving her to another prison, had a baby with someone else (baby now an adult and appreciates her so much that they'll break her out of jail, out of the psych ward, etc. ).....and on and on. Blah. I may try to watch just to see the Quinn/Carter/Eric antics but Sheila is FF material. I had even briefly enjoyed Li. The writers will wreck anything for Sheila though.

B&B June 2022 Discussion Thread
I have to say I feel a little badly for Scott Clifton. I never cared for him - there was a year at the Emmys when he was younger - and I think he was up for younger actor and that year Tom Pelphry won, and Scott looked kinda sour. Which I didn't really understand because I think he had lost in the same category to someone on General Hospital before. I don't remember totally but I didn't like him because a camera shot caught him looking sour. I specifically also remember the guy who played Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) - same thing. Sour lookin' when he lost. But recently - a year or two ago - someone brought up to him in an interview the total overkill on Liam/Hope/Steffy, and who will end up with Liam? Who will he choose? What will he do now that he's chosen (something like that). And he said hopefully he uses tissues over the next year. And I thought - well he gets it. He completely understands it's overkill and so now I feel badly for him.

I have to say I tuned in - in passing and saw Scott Clifton. I have to agree, he looked great. Another probably unpopular opinion - I watched briefly with some scenes with Quinn/Carter, talking about the body/health monitor on Eric - and his rising blood pressure and heart rate. And I thought it was funny. Enough to make me tune in again for a few minutes today. I've not seen a total 10 minutes all at once in a few years for the most part. The idea of Quinn (who ate the show as a consistently annoying busy body always getting her way, and besting really really smart people otherwise grew old for me) - so the idea of making her look stupid and getting screwed over made me tune in today. Finally someone getting the better of her.

Probably the best player on tour at the time, except for her serve. She literally would win matches if she held serve just 1 time because she broke everyone's serve almost every time.

Characters that Stopped Getting Stories
Lyla Montgomery and Susan Stewart also. Anne Sward and Marie Masters were both wonderful actresses, and Lyla was literally just let go without any hoopla that I remember - it was kind of not a big deal - and with Craig, Margo - and wasn't Katie her daughter? Still on the scene there was little or no mention of their mother.

I think I’ve mentioned- I’m DC and Brett was a local sports anchor. Pretty much everyone here was shocked that he moved on to anything other than local sports. He was terrible and not what you’d expect of a National or global commentator. As for this match I think that sealed another French for either Rafa or Joker. I think Carlos could have beaten them regardless of history. Zverev’s mental game will get him in the end.

If I remember, I've heard Mary Jo Fernandez talk about it a lot. Endometriosis pretty much ended her career. I don't remember the details but I do remember her saying that for years she didn't even know what was wrong, or that they couldn't pinpoint it or something, and that's what it was.

This is why I really don't blame Wimbledon. I don't know what the answer is, and it might not look good, but they really don't have a choice. In my head I feel the same way about (I'm DC) Ovechkin and the Capitals. I had to get rid of my Ovechkin jerseys - because he was a Putin supporter, and although he can't speak out now (wife and family in Russia) - he wouldn't be doing so anyway. I don't think for 1 second that if he had the chance that he would pull his family and life out of Russia. So he's made his choice, and his money that he makes here goes home to them. Similarly, I would not be able to allow a Russian player right now to take home the cash to their families in Russia - who, even after this is over, will most likely not leave their homeland - whether that's right or wrong - I think Wimbledon did what they had to do. The points, I do not understand or know enough about to comment on that part.

I think I saw Steffy and Liam talking yesterday? They're moving awfully slow - shouldn't Steffy and Liam have slept together by now and Liam gotten her pregnant again?

REPORT: B&B: Star Out!
I guess that means we won't be seeing the Liberty Bibberty commercials again. I guess Liberty must have played along. I had started seeing his commercial again briefly the past month or so. They'd been missing. He must have that in his contract, or they do. No Bibberty while on Bold.

REPORT: B&B: Star Out!
I tuned in on Friday because I read that Sheila would get a visitor in Jail. And the guard acted like it would be really good. Then it was Brooke. Yawn. I had kind of hoped - and tuned in - just to see the reaction when Finn confronted 'Mom' in jail. But I didn't even get that satisfaction. This is a yawner for me.

Must see this. If I looked correctly - Gauff has a big chance here - her quarter got weaker and Azarenka is losing, but lucked out with a suspended match at 3-3 in the second. Although I really think Kanepi is the more dangerous one down there than Mugu would have been, but Gauff is in the better half and has an easier quarter to me. I noticed this weekend the commentators kept emphasizing that 18 is so young, she has plenty of time, etc. etc. - which tells me that they're aware of the underlying growing opinion (which doesn't matter, but you can tell they're aware). I keep saying this is the year for Gauff where we find out - meteoric rise, or will she be a player that wins a couple few GSs when she's older. The whole field seems so open to me that other than Swiatek, so many players have a real chance.

“Anyone in fashion should KNOW —- No white shoes after LABOR DAY. Yet you see them do it allll the time! An example of what sick, depraved people the Forresters are!” Nod to Serial Mom. That reminds me though - on the brief moments I tune in - have I missed fashion shows that happened? I haven’t seen or heard it mentioned on these boards in years maybe. Maybe when the new version of Spectra tanked? Still a shame - I actually liked them and I thought they should have pushed forward with some of that.

I’m high but I meant the part about their last match possibly being in KY. I didn’t know that. If that ends up being the last one.
